Demetri bit his lip. Isaac had a good point. But Demetri wasn't about to break. He looked up at Isaac, silently wishing him the best of health. His eyes were extremely apologetic. His eyes then flicked from Isaac's, to Isabelle's. He knew his fear was showing. But Safira needed to make a choice, quickly. Before Isabelle's imaginary hour glass emptied and Isabelle made the choice to keep all three of them, or to choose for Safira.

"Ten seconds, Safira," Isabelle said softly, her deep burgundy eyes practically shining with happiness. This was her glee, she considered herself to be almost like a dementor- the pain of others became her pleasure, their screams her relish. A menacing smile remained on her thin lips as she waited for a response, this was going to be traumatic either way, something which made her feel very devious; especially for something she had come up with on a whim. "Five, four, three, two..." Isabelle whispered.

"I'm so sorry," Safira whispered, tears flooding from her closed eyes, "Demetri." She pressed herself even harder against the wall, as if expecting that she might slide through it if she moved even a centimeter closer. She felt herself trembling, this was a nightmare, she wanted it to end, but she knew that it wasn't going to. There was nothing she could do except hope that she had made the correct decision.

Isabelle had figured that would be her response, it probably made the most sense in her anxiety-stricken brain. "Very well, release him," said Isabelle to her men restraining Demetri. She was planning on letting the two go unscratched, she had had her fun, she might play more games with them later, but as for now everything would be fine. Besides, she had exchanged one of the rebellious Malfoy kin for another, it was hardly a difference to her. She tightened her grip on Isaac's hair, mildly surprised as to how calm he was remaining.

Isaac remained exceptionally collected, freaking out was not going to help him in the slightest. In his head he was already thinking of an escape plan, one that could be adapted to wherever it was she might keep him captive. Or perhaps he might need to fight with his hands, but he would get out one way or another. "Tell Gabriella I love her," said Isaac, his eyes almost mournful. His eyes slipped closed as he focused all his energy on remaining entirely calm.

Demetri fell to his knees, stunned, but managed to find his way to his feet. He hurried to where Safira stood, and pulled her close to him. "We need to go now Safira," he whispered mournfully. His gaze traveled towards Isaac, who had spoken. Isaac had a wife as well, and it broke his heart to see him like this. "I will," he called to his brother-in-law. Demetri began to escort Safira away, not bothering to Apparate, since neither were focused enough and he didn't want anyone, especially Aurora, getting Splinched.

Safira wept quietly as Demetri led her away, thankful that they were not going to be apparating. It wasn't good for the baby, and besides, neither of them had their wands on them. When they reached the barrier Safira wished that it would allow them through without a problem, but she first tested it by touching with her hand, which slid effortlessly through. With one last sad glance at her brother, Safira stepped through the barrier and found herself in the muggle world. When Demetri joined her, she leaned against him, she felt weak, so very weary...

Demetri wrapped his arms around his beloved. "Come now, we need to get you home," he whispered. Just how they were going to do that without wands, he wasn't sure. But they'd make it somehow. Demetri hugged Safira tight, pressing his lips to her forehead. "It's going to be alright. Everything is going to be alright. I will do everything humanly possible to get Isaac home safely. I promise," he whispered into her skin, tears finally coming.

Safira burried her eyes into Demetri's shirt, tears flowing unrestrained down her cheeks. At the idea of home she felt her throat tighten, she did not want to be left alone again, but she did not want Isaac to remain captive for any longer than neccessary. Her worlds was all too confusing at that moment, she just wished that there were a rewind spell for life, so she could have changed the series of events that led to her capture, then she would never have had to suffer like this. After a moment she pulled lightly away from her husband's embrace. She wiped her tears with the back of her wrist, and then took Demetri by the hand, her other free hand resting on top of her stomach. There was nothing that could be done then, except to go home.
