Gabriella's eyes narrowed at Raychel. Clearly trust was an issue in their friendship right now and Gabriella knew she wasn't helping matters, but she was too mad to care at the moment. "I'm not going to do anything stupid, and you're not coming with me," Gabriella replied flatly.

Raychel yet again rose an eyebrow. Clearly Gabby didn't trust her right now, and Raychel wasn't trusting her much either. The whole situation was clearly going off the deep end in that regard, but she wasn't going to fuss with it too much. Time would heal the wounds that had cut deeply into her soul, and would stitch up the seams of their rocky relationship in due time. Raychel merely shrugged in response to Gabriella, not buying that she wasn't about to go do something that she would eventually regret. However, there were a lot of things in Raychel's life now that she regretted doing. What was life without the risk, really?

Gabriella sighed slightly, noting how sad Raychel seemed that there was a lack of trust in their relationship. "I'm going to Isaac's," Gabriella finally said. "If I'm not back in an hour, you can assume I've gone off to do something stupid and feel free to track me down. I'll see you at the apartment." With a short nod, Gabriella disappeared into the trees.
The run helped to clear her mind a bit, though random thoughts of panic kept popping up a bit. But by the time she stopped in Magic Grove, Gabriella was much calmer. Pulling out her ponytail, Gabriella allowed her now black hair to fall down to the middle of her back. She approached Malfoy Manor, keeping an eye out in case someone was watching her. As she rang the bell at the house, Gabriella allowed her hair to turn its normal color once more. The door opened to reveal...

No one other than Isaac himself. His family was driving him crazy, well, that wasn't entirely true... It was more like his mother. The only thing that stopped him from getting a flat or something was that it was kind of redundant, as he and Gabriella would be getting married in two months, and he wanted her to take her pick of whatever house she wanted. "Hey gorgeous," said Isaac, stepping outside, a subtle gesture that he didn't want to be home. He slipped his hands onto her hips and placed a light kiss on Gabriella's forehead. He could feel the tension radiating off of her, as if she was fresh off an argument. "Something wrong?" asked Isaac.

Gabriella wrapped her arms around Isaac and buried her head in his chest for a moment releasing her emotion slightly. "You're dad's out," she whispered after she released Isaac. "Did you know?" Gabriella felt as though she were about to start sobbing. She felt stupid and was furious at herself even more than she was mad at others. If only she were human; then she would have a better release of emotion. Crying had always worked well.

Isaac lightly bit his lip, being careful to not slice completely through it. "Yeah, it was on the front page of the Prophet." said Isaac. He wasn't sure how to feel about it yet; should he be angry or frightened? Or perhaps something else entirely. In his opinion, Draco wasn't smart enough to be able to break out of Azkaban himself, which meant that someone had come for him specifically. Without a doubt, that person was Isabelle. "My mum's gone out looking for him," Isaac said after a moment.

"I guess I don't read the paper too much anymore," Gabriella replied softly. She fell silent once more as Isaac mentioned that his mom was out looking for Draco. "I doubt she'll find anything," Gabriella said. "Isabelle's bound to have him hidden pretty well. It was her and Raychel that broke him out of Azkaban." Gabriella sighed slightly. What could Isabelle want with Draco anyway and why hadn't she merely gotten all of the old Death Eaters out at once? It was weird how she had just chosen Isaac's father.

"Hmm," said Isaac, unsure of what to say. It was of course, obvious that his mother wasn't the brightest witch in the world, ergo she probably wouldn't be able to find Draco no matter how hard she tried. She was simply no match for Isabelle. Though Isaac hated to admit it, Isabelle was both highly intelligent and powerful. Very powerful. "I was going to go for a drink," Isaac said. "Care to join me?"

Gabriella paused for a moment, thinking of her promise to be home in an hour. "Yes, I would love to," she replied. "Are we going to the Leaky Cauldron?" Tonight seemed like a good night to drink plenty of firewhiskey. Gabriella hadn't been the vampire equivalent of drunk in a long time.

"I was thinking of someplace a bit quieter, perhaps the Hog's Head," said Isaac. "Unless you'd rather go to the Leaky Cauldron." It was always a pleasant change to go to the shabbier pub of Hogsmeade, there were so seldom many people there, and Isaac liked the privacy. Especially since Hogwarts was done for the summer, there wouldn't be any students that favoured his niche.

Gabriella nodded. Though the pub was a bit run-down, it was nice to have peace and quiet occasionally. "Sure, let's go there," she replied. They could alway conjure their own glasses if the ones at the Hog's Head seemed too dirty that day, though not much fazed Gabriella these days. It wasn't like she could really get sick anyway.

Although Gabriella hardly needed side-by-side apparation, Isaac nevertheless took her hand. In the brief, strange sensation of traveling for a great distance by magic, he re-appeared with a crack like a whip in Hogsmeade, just outside of the run-down pub. It was late, but unless Isaac was mistaken, the Hog's Head was open until midnight on weekdays. He reached for the door to open it for his fiancee.

Smiling slightly, Gabriella walked into the Hog's Head and headed for the bar. "I'll have a firewhiskey," she said, turning to make sure Isaac was behind her. The bartender quickly handed her the drink. Smiling, Gabriella took a sip, then reached into her pocket to pay for it.

"As much of the strongest stuff you can give," said Isaac, plopping down into the seat beside Gabriella. He placed enough money on the counter to pay for the both of them, he figured it would be more polite to pay, and it was almost second nature for him, he always had money, and nearly always paid. The bartender momentarily raised his eyebrows at Isaac, but didn't say anything. He placed a large goblet of a deep amber-coloured liquid before him, and Isaac quickly took a large swig.

Gabriella let the coins slip through her fingers and back into her pocket as she nodded gratefully to Isaac and picked up her firewhiskey once more. She still wasn't quite used to Isaac paying for everything, but she supposed that would come with time. At least she had quite a bit of money herself these days, so she wasn't relying on anyone. Gabriella took a generous swig of her drink and then turned back to her fiancé. "How's Quidditch?" she asked after a moment.
