Gabriella nodded slowly, wondering what else to say. The silence didn't really bother her too much, but it was quite nice to talk to Isaac. She finished off her drink and then glanced at the clock on the wall. Her hour was nearly up; Gabriella didn't want Raychel to worry about her. "I think I'd better go; Raychel will get worried if I don't get back soon," Gabriella said softly, standing up. "Thanks for the drinks, though."

"So soon?" said Isaac, he had been unaware of the time that had passed, perhaps it was a bit later than he had thought. "Stay with me a while," He too stood, and slipped his hand into Gabriella's. She shouldn't have to fret about her roomate being worried about her. Gabriella was an adult now, she could stay out as late as she wanted. Isaac wanted to spend some more time with his fiance, they hardly got any time together these days.

Gabriella hesitated, wanting to stay but at the same time thinking that she should go before Raychel started to get worried. A little voice inside her head protested. She was an adult after all and Raychel did know she was with Isaac. Wasn't that enough? Couldn't she do what she wanted? She was overworked, constantly worried, and unbelievably tired. Yes, she deserved time with her fiancé. Gabriella squeezed Isaac's hand. "Alright, I'll stay for a while longer," she said. But looking around, she realized that she didn't want to be hanging around the Hog's Head any longer. "But let's go somewhere else. For a walk or something," she added.

"Perfectly fine," said Isaac. He opened the door for Gabriella and was grateful for the first breath of fresh air. Ever since becoming a vampire, he noticed a marked difference between the stale air of the indoors and the air outside. The night was clear, and because of the isolated condition of the tiny village of Hogsmeade, one could see all the stars. "It truly is gorgeous out," Isaac said, setting a slow pace for their evening walk.

Gabriella deeply inhaled the sweet scent of fresh air and smiled at Isaac's comment about how beautiful it was that evening. "Yes, it is definitely one of the better nights recently," she replied, agreeing. Taking hold of Isaac's hand once more, she settled in at a comfortable pace alongside her fiance.

Isaac did not feel the need to start conversation, spending time with Gabriella in the silence was perhaps the best thing for the both of them. Their lives had been so busy lately, the peace and quiet was very comforting. Isaac slowly rubbed the back of Gabriella's hand with his thumb, closing his eyes lightly and allowing his senses of hearing, touch, and smell to guide him instead.

Gabriella ambled alongside Isaac, breathing in the fresh night air. It might have been a bit chilly, but she could hardly have noticed. For a moment, she was euphoric. But Gabriella knew the moment would end, as all great moments do. She couldn't help but wish that it would extend on forever. The war was bitter and seemingly endless, but the night air was sweet and refreshing. But short; the night air would only last for so long. She sighed slightly, but kept walking.

"I've been looking at some listings," said Isaac, running his free hand through his hair. He had finally grown tired of the silence between them, he wanted some sort of conversation. He had been unsure of what else to talk about other than Xavier, he was just glad that his illegitimate son had not driven a wedge between him and Gabriella. "I haven't found anything that feels right though," Isaac added quietly.

"Well, that's alright," Gabriella replied in an equally soft tone. "I'll look through some in my spare time as well, and we'll find something right for us." She gave his hand a slight squeeze. They had plenty of time to find the right house, since they really didn't need to move in until early Setptember.

Isaac nodded, but was not sure what to say. He ran a hand through his hair again, he wasn't sure what he was going to do when the Quidditch season was over, he was going to be terribly bored. Perhaps he would spend a lot more time with Xavier. Miranda seemed as stressed as he and Gabriella were these days. "It really is cruel how little we see each other," said Isaac, stopping their walk for a quick moment.

Gabriella turned toward him, her eyes saddened. "That's true," she said softly. "There's just so much going on all the time that we don't even have time to be together. I miss you." Gabriella glanced down at the ground for a moment. If only there were more time in a day. Then she would be able to figure everything out. But then again, so would Isabelle. Gabriella supposed that idea wouldn't work too well after all.

Isaac nodded once in reply, he transferred his hands to a comfortable resting spot on Gabriella's hips. This was one of his many favourites of Gabriella's physical features, it was as if her hips were made for his hands to rest on. She was just gorgeous to him, nothing about her unappealing, nothing about her off in the slightest. "We'll just have to make the most of what we've got," said Isaac, and then placed a light kiss on Gabriella's lips.

Gabriella smiled once they broke apart and wrapped her arms around his neck. "I suppose we must," she replied with a grin before she kissed him once more, harder this time. She inhaled slightly, loving his scent. It was the best part about being a vampire; she could know anyone, but especially Isaac, anywhere. "I love you," Gabriella whispered as they broke apart momentarily.

"I love you too," Isaac added, voice quiet. He smiled at his soon-to-be wife. August really couldn't come quickly enough. He thought of his latest assignment for the Order, it was his job to seal off all the secret passages that Death Eaters could use to get inside the castle. Isaac supposed it wouldn't be too difficult, as he had already found them all during his school education. Perhaps he and Gabriella could go about doing that tonight. Isaac rested his chin atop Gabriella's head.

Gabriella wrapped her arms around Isaac's waist, her head cradled where his neck met his chest. "Remember when you first asked me out?" she asked, a slight smile on her lips. She certainly remember, even if it had been a while ago. Most of her humans memories were fuzzy, but there were a couple that she still retained with some clarity.
