Perri grinned. "Well, if Toby's out, I'm out." One said. The remaining players nodded and trickled out. Perri caught Toby before he could leave. "I have something to help that hangover for tomorrow. My little secret concotion. Reserved for the best." she replied, beckoning him towards the counter. She hurried behind the deserted bar and quickly grabbed the needed ingredients.

Well, that could certainly be nice, instead of spending Sunday mumbling about his house with a headache and sensitivity to light and sound. Perhaps he might be able to get out on his one day of the week off and do something fun. Or maybe he would stay at home anyways and enjoy being sober. "Very kind of you, love," said Toby, sitting down on a vacant stool, gripping the bar as he did feel a bit dizzy.

"Of course." Perri replied with a grin. She mixed the grape juice she had gotten out with a single mint leaf and a splash of pomegranate juice. She produced her wand and muttered a quick spell, stirring the concoction with magic. "There. Bottoms up." she replied. The quick recipe was a great savior. Many people used it for hangovers that weren't on purpose. It was a good money maker. This time, however, Perri didn't want to mootch.

Toby slammed down the mixture like a shot of tequila, even though its taste was quite pleasant. He was just eager to no longer be so messed up. He made a mental note to himself to never drink based on rounds of poker more than once or twice a month. The effects of the concoction were almost instantly, he instantly felt as sober as if he had drank nothing but butterbeer the whole night. "Thanks," Toby repeated softly.

Perri merely nodded, placing a hand atop Toby's. "Don't mention it." she replied gently with a gentle smile. Now that her employees were gone, she could put on a kinder, gentler face. Of course, her flirting would remain, as would the sarcasm. Those traits never disapated, only dimmed. She came out from behind the counter, her black heels clicking daintily on the floor. Taking a seat next to Toby at the bar, Perri widened into a flirtatious tone.

Now that his head was on straight, Toby could see that Perri was in to him. Or she was just pretending and was good at it. He highly doubted it was the later, he usually had the ladies practically swooning at his feet, rarely were any of them just trying to toy with his affections. Toby had recently gotten out of a relationship that had not been going well, and was happy to be back on the market, even if it disappointed his mother. "Well, then Miss Perri," said Toby. "You're a great girl, I bet you've had many a man chase after you,"

"All of 'em were scums." Perri replied, her smile faltering a bit. She quickly was back on her feet, smiling away again. She hated the fact the majority of the men chasing after her were losers who had nothing better to do than swoon and rape women. It made her sick. But, as before, her idea of Toby's character stayed correct. He was, indeed, a true, honest man. And she appreciated the fact he was giving her the time of day. "Well thank you nevertheless." she replied with a gentle smile.

Toby figured that by her response that Perri was single, and that he did not note a wedding ring on her finger. But that didn't mean she wasn't available. He was trying to figure her out, something which could sometimes be a bit difficult for him. "Well, I'm no scum," said Toby, grinning widely. He was curious about this woman, she just seemed so... different from the others. "Do you want to take a walk?" Toby asked, he was ready for some nice, fresh air.
