They were certainly quite the sight, Blaize who towered over his older sister, had to lean on her for support. It seemed as though nothing were going to be simple anymore, and probably never would be. Blaize was starting to long for the days of his early childhood, where it was easy to be around his sisters, and there wasn't a thing in the world to worry about, except if mum was going to notice the sudden absence of one of her nice china plates they had accidentally broken. Blaize was not sure what to say, or if anything needed to be said at all.

Emily also fell silent, she did not have anything to say in response, figuring that she would not have a choice. She never did anymore, it was like being two years old all over again, only now she wanted to make her own decisions, only no one would allow her to. It was her own life, wasn't it? Emily felt that she should be able to do whatever the hell she wanted with her own life, without others interfering.

Gabriella was silent as well, feeling a bit awkward next to her two younger siblings, both of whom were well taller than her. It wasn't that Gabriella was short, but both Emily and Blaize had inherited Ron's height. Gabriella was closer to her mother in height, though she was about an inch taller than Hermione. As they continued to walk, Gabriella found herself wishing they were all younger again; when summer meant fun and games. Times had certainly changed.

"Anyone got their key?" Emily asked glumly as she came up to the house. She had not brought hers with her, being under the assumption that she would never walk over that threshold again. It was late, their parents had probably turned in for the night, or at least headed to their bedroom. There was a somewhat positive, Emily did not want her parents involved, Ron would probably get angry, and Hermione would most likely break down in tears and never let Emily be on her own again.

Blaize pulled out his from the deep pocket of his jacket. He felt it to be unusually cold for a summer night, perhaps it had been setting the mood for what Emily had been about to do. He handed his key over to his twin sister, hopefully Hermione was not waiting up for them, she did that sometimes. Not all the time, but she had a knack for being there when Blaize least wanted her to be. It was like mother telepathy or something.

Gabriella held her breath as Emily opened the door. Hopefully their parents would be asleep; Gabriella could only imagine Hermione's reaction, and she didn't want to see it for real. But the lights were out in the house and Gabriella could hear the steady breathing of her parents upstairs. They were asleep. "Alright, let's sit down," Gabriella said quietly, helping Blaize over to the chair in the living room.

Blaize, quite grateful for the chance to sit down, allowed himself to practically collapse into the chair, being cautious of his bad leg. He had been trying to not hurt himself on the way down, but when not on a broomstick he was quite awkward on his feet. Blaize tended to trip a lot, and climbing over a tall fence and jumping off the top of it wasn't the smartest thing for a clumsy person like him to do. Blaize was not sure how he would explain his leg, he was nowhere near talented enough to fix it on his own.

Emily hastily removed her cloak and sat down on the farthest cushion of the couch. She spread her cloak over herself, like a blanket, as if making some sort of futile attempt to hide herself. All Emily wanted was to not be there with her siblings, they were just going to make things harder on her than what they needed to be. Emily couldn't explain the feelings that were going through her head, there just were not words for them. She was half-tempted to pull her cloak over her head, but knew that was not going to help.
