Toby frowned, pretending to be hurt by what she had just said. "Hey! Choosing your clothes is difficult business!" said Toby sarcastically. He took another long sip of water, never before had something as simple as bottled water tasted so good. Perhaps it had just been one of many consecutive long days for him. Toby grinned.

Perri straightened up, bottle in hand. She laughed as she unscrewed the lid and took a satisfying sip. "Yes Toby, we understand how limited your intelligence is. But luckily you got dressed today! Congratulations!" she replied sarcastically, laughing a bit. This was by far the best time she had ever had with one of her guy-friends. Her parents wanted her to settle down a bit, find a husband and what-not. As of right now, she was fine with flirting here with Toby. It was a way to fill the void, and she was enjoying herself. Maybe something could become of this... Perri thought, but she covered her interest with a smile.

"Well, 'least I don't need no brains tah play Quee-ditch," said Toby, using a mock American southern accent. Toby liked being around Perri, she was different, they just seemed to click in a way that he never had before with anyone else. If they would form a rock-solid friendship or if it would spark into something more, Toby wasn't sure, all he knew was that he liked Perri. A lot.

Perri was silent for a moment, her head cocked to the side, her dark hair cascading over one shoulder. Suddenly she burst into a fit of laughter. She finally straightened up, wiping the tears from her eyes, grinning like a fool. "That was great. I have to give you credit Toby, you're a triple threat." she replied, a hint of a giggle tracing her voice, a small smile etched upon her face. She leaned forward her face inches from his, her eyes locked on his own. "Handsome, athletic, and charming as hell." Perri replied softly. She wasn't exactly sure why she was allured in close to him, but she wouldn't allow herself to pull away from him. Her mind went blank and all she could see was those perfect, beautiful eyes of his.

Toby could not help but chuckle a bit himself, Perri was downright adorable when she was laughing like crazy. He briefly had thoughts of them as a couple, how they just seemed to fit, unlike he had with many other girls. He could imagine the sheer pleasure he would have in his voice rejecting his mother to set him up on a blind date, because he already had a girlfriend. "And you, my dear, are attractive, funny, and quite the tease," said Toby. Normally, he might have been made a bit uncomfortable by the little distance between them, all he had to do to kiss her would be puckering his lips, but he was not yet unsteady.

Perri winked a bit then pulled back away from him. She slid herself off of her counter to the seat next to him, smiling a bit. She looked around absently, taking another sip of her drink. It was wonderful, being here with Toby. She had grown fond of the Qudditch player. It was something that was... unexplainable. This feeling, this tug was strange, but wonderful all the same. She crossed one leg over the other as she took yet another sip of her drink.

"Do you like to go dancing, at all?" asked Toby, clubbing for a bit sounded like fun, especially with Perri. The clubs weren't usually his scene, but he found that they were sometimes enjoyable. The night was still young, after all, and he was thinking of it as somewhat of an adventure. If Perri refused, he would think of something else, but heading to a nightclub for some dancing sounded pretty good to him at the moment.

Perri looked at him, eyebrows raised. She then smiled, stood, and took Toby's hand. "I'm up for anything." she replied with a grin. She wasn't exactly sure where they would go or what Toby's plans were, but the night was young. And Perri was a sucker for a good dance. She waited patiently for Toby to stand so they could walk out together. The moment they were outside of her home she flicked out her wand and redid the locks. One could never be too careful in dark times.

Toby grinned, glad to know that Perri was up for it. Things just sounded like so much fun, he couldn't wait. "I know this place," said Toby, it was a bit less crowded than the other clubs, something which he enjoyed. Toby did not like being packed into a place like a sardine, he liked having room to move. It was a muggle club, which was fine, there weren't many magical ones, anyways. "It's one of my favourites, but it's on the other side of town," Toby added, clicking the button on his keys. He had one of those fancy Italian sports cars, being a professional Quidditch player, he could afford to splurge.

Perri felt her eyebrows raise in curiosity at the car. It was a sleek, fast thing. She felt a grin creep onto her face, for she adored Italian sports cars. She opened the door and climbed into the passenger seat. With a quick movement, her seat belt was buckled and she was looking around the interior of the car. It was very nice; Toby obviously splurged plenty on this pretty thing. She grinned broadly. It was always interesting to see how men spent their money. In this case, Toby had a lot to spend.

Toby buckled his own seat belt. He loved his car, with the kind of money he made, he could probably live in a mansion and have twelve other cars like this, but he liked his modest living in his own house. Besides, he didn't have to spend all that money on a house, so he had millions of galleons locked up in Gringott's for a rainy day. He started the car, sticking to the speed limit. Toby wasn't sure where to begin conversation, so he would let Perri start.

Perri wasn't sure how to begin a conversation at the moment, so she remained silent. The world passed by and she stared out the window. There had been a recent sprinkling of rain, for the pavement was still wet. She smiled gently, but was disappointed she had missed it. Rain was beautiful. Eventually, through a few minutes of silence, the car pulled up at the nightclub. She took note immediately it wasn't crowded in the slightest. A faint smile painted itself across her face. Good, she thought. More room to dance.

"I like having my own space," Toby explained as he put the car in park and pulled the keys out of the ignition. His car was amazing, he loved it so much, from the cherry red exterior, to the black leather seats. It was his car, and that was it. There were a couple of other people there, but they were all the early-night people. Apparently the place was run by some filthy rich people, which was why they were still in business. Toby was glad they were, he didn't like having to push his way through places.
