Dean stood before the bathroom mirror, he had yet to get in the shower, examining his reflection. He had already taken off his shirt, six thick scars ran diagonally across his chest and abdomen, from right hip to left shoulder. Dean slowly ran four fingers down four of the scars, their texture rough beneath his fingertips. One of them veered onto his neck, jut inches away from his aorta. Had that one cut gone just an inch or so further... Dean probably would have bled to death before Tristan had come to his rescue.
He sighed, and then turned on the shower. Dean only took a couple minutes as usual, but because the water he used was so hot, the mirror was completely steamed up when he had finished. He pulled on a pair of jeans and a plain grey t-shirt and then left the bathroom, leaving the door open to let it air out. Dean sat down at the table with a bowl of cereal, expecting to be alone, but of course, he wasn't. Dean mentally decided right then and there that if it was Cora he was going to leave without a word to her. Hopefully it was Bradly...

Cora ran a hand through her long, Veela hair as she walked toward the kitchen, wearing a simple t-shirt and a pair of pajama pants. She hadn't dressed this sloppily in a long time and found it to be rather comfortable. As came into the room, Cora thought vaguely that she hadn't been home much that summer. Bradly didn't seem to mind, though Cora supposed if he was home more he probably would. As for Dean, he had been giving Cora the silent treatment all summer. She supposed she probably deserved it, but part of her longed to talk to him.
She wished she could explain her feelings to Dean, but Cora doubted he would actually understand her true emotions, how the past haunted her and she felt scared sometimes, but needed to do something. And how she hadn't wanted to see him hurt, but also hadn't wanted Isabelle to kill him. Cora grabbed a box of cereal from the pantry and a bowl from the cabinet. She sat down across from Dean at the kitchen table. "Hi," Cora said tentatively.

Bradly rubbed his head as he clumsily stumbled into the kitchen. He had on a white t-shirt, and a pair of baggy gray sweatpants, and his feet were bare against the cold linoleum floor. He rose a sleepy eyebrow as he noticed that his younger siblings were incredibly tense. They had been acting strangely, even for twins. Bradly knew he would eventually find out what was wrong, but for now he was going to allow them to figure it out for themselves. Bradly poured himself a cup of coffee, then seated himself at the table. "'Mornin'" he muttered groggily.

Cora forced a smile to her eldest brother, Bradly and then poured herself a bowl full of cereal. "Good morning," she said, noting how Dean still hadn't replied. She half-expected her twin brother to get up and leave, though Cora supposed it didn't matter now. They could hardly talk in front of Bradly. Taking a bite of her cereal and chewing slowly, Cora awaited any responses.

Dean completely ignored Cora as she sat down with her bowl of cereal, he would have gotten up and left had Bradly not walked in a moment after she did. e was still contemplating abandoning his breakfast, perhaps he would spend another day riding around on trains, he did this frequently. Dean found that the more he was out of the house and away from Cora, the less likely he would be to have flairs of his temper. "Morning," Dean replied to Bradly, while still pretending that Cora was not at the table with him.

Bradly looked between his younger siblings for a moment, cupping his coffee in his hands. His eyes narrowed sharply as he scrutinized each twin separately. He then shook his head and took a sip of his coffee. "You know, there's more to life than riding around on trains all day and ignoring your twin Dean." he finally said flatly, giving his brother a sharp, parental stare. He then turned to look at Cora. "I have no idea what's going on between you two, but if I don't get answers I'll be forced to take you both with me to my room to sort through the laundry, where I will eventually get answers." he finished, taking another sip of his coffee. "I can force you two to spend the whole day staring at each other you know."

"You can do what you like but I'm not going to talk to her," Dean said, speaking as if Cora weren't even there. She had hurt him more than anything, she was just lucky that he hadn't told Bradly that she had gone and joined the Death Eaters. Perhaps he would, just to see what he would do. The thought momentarily amused him, although it didn't show on Dean's face.

Cora shrugged slightly at Bradly's threat to make them stare at each other all day. It wouldn't come to anything even if Bradly had the guts to do it. Cora wouldn't tell him what had happened, and she could tell that Dean wouldn't either. "It's alright, Bradly," Cora said, her words directed toward Bradly, but intended for Dean to hear as well. "He's too much of a bloody coward to talk to me, anyway. I guess that's why the sorting hat didn't put him in Gryffindor."

Dean normally would have retorted with some bit about her being too stupid to be a Ravenclaw, and nearly did, but mentally reminded himself that he was ignoring Cora. He briefly debated if he would be able to get away for just a few minutes, slip out the door... Then take the first train that left the station. Dean knew in his subconscious that Bradly might skin him alive, but quite frankly did not care. In spite of pretending that Cora didn't exist, Dean certainly wasn't going to sit there and be insulted like that. He mulled over his silence by taking an overlarge bite of cereal and swallowing forcefully.
