Contrary to what you may be thinking, cheekiness is not offensive to me. I appreciate a bit of attitude, Isabelle projected, tone sounding rather bored. She at last settled on a curse, one that if cast correctly would make it feel as if shards of glass were pulsing through her veins, and make tears of blood come from her eyes. Isabelle cast her spell, and then decided that if Raychel were paying attention, her spot may be revealed, that might make things a bit more fun.

Raychel saw the flash of a spell from the corner of her eye. She was able to whip around and cast her own spell, one that would twist ones insides painfully. Isabelle's curse hit her full on and Raychel fell to her knees in pain. Blood dripped down her cheeks as she hissed in pain. Adreline so evident in her veins pulsed the "glass" through her even faster than normal. Raychel bit her tongue in an effort to keep from screaming out, dropping her wand to the ground. She dropped down to all fours, coughing violently. Blood splattered onto the grass with each gut-wrenching cough.

Isabelle could not help but laugh aloud at Raychel's pain. The girl had forgotten a crucial thing, although her spell hit her head on, the only organ that functioned in the body of the vampire was the brain, so her spell was ineffective. She allowed herself to become visible and stood before Raychel, burgundy eyes glinting with desire, her blood smelled so sweetly, Isabelle was highly tempted. But she would wait. She had to be patient, she wasn't finished having fun with the girl.

Raychel's half-screams were reduced to mere whimpers as her arms wobbled. She coughed once more, loosing more blood in the process. Raychel fell to the ground, her muscles failing her. She weakly looked up into Isabelle's eyes, the sparkle of fury evident in her own. Raychel knew that she was going to die. She almost wished for it now. If only she had said goodbye to Levi, and Gabby, and Angel. It was better this way though, to not worry them by bidding them farewell ahead of time. And less tragic.

Isabelle knelt down in the grass, and then swiftly put her finger to where one of the tears of blood streamed down Raychel's cheek. She examined the burgundy on her finger by the light of the moon, smiled a bit and then licked it. For a split second her eyes flashed a dark and cold black, but after that fraction of time, they returned once more to a hungry blood red. Isabelle smirked as she pointed her wand at the girl. "Sectumsempra," said Isabelle harshly, waiting for the strong smell of blood as she created more, deeper wounds. But she absolutely would not kill her until she begged for the icy grip of death.

Raychel clasped her hands over her mouth, knowing full-well what the curse was about to do. As the cuts grew in size and depth, she did her best to muffle her pitiful screams. She hissed in pain as she looked weakly up into Isabelle's cold eyes. "Contrary to... what you... may think... I will not... beg for... mercy." Raychel rasped, voice shaky and weak. She still was going to try, to fight.

That was what they all said, but everyone had their breaking point. It was just that Raychel's was a lot higher than most people's. Isabelle wanted to drink her blood like a newborn would, but she could be patient. "Crucio," Isabelle spat, as if she hadn't even heard Raychel. Bring her to begging. Or complete insanity. Whichever came first.

Raychel had been half-expecting Isabelle to swoop down and drain her, but the vampire had more dignity than that. As the curse bore down upon her, Raychel's wounds began to bleed faster. The curse was finally complete, but not soon enough for her liking. Tears of blood mixed with those of water, and Raychel snarled. With a blind fury, Raychel had gotten weakly to her knees and fired relentlessly upon the vampire to flames. While she was distracted, or injured (Raychel was in too much pain to tell), she grasped her wand and busily fixed her wounds. Never had she been more grateful for her desirer to be a nurse. She stood, legs threatening to buckle beneath her. The pain was still there, but only just.

Isabelle quickly extinguished herself, only her clothes, and some of her hair, had been singed. Fire was a painful thing, to both humans and vampires, but more so to the immortals. Both could be killed by it, but at the same time, flames were essential to life itself. The clearing smelled of singed hair. Isabelle mentally cursed, Raychel had healed herself. But her own experience in nursing told her that she had lost too much blood, if she exerted herself to harshly just then she would be sure to faint. She waited patiently for the girl's next move.

Raychel knew her limits. She may be weak, but she was not ignorant. Raychel turned to face her foe. She found her singed and stifled a chuckle. "Big bad vampire could handle an itty bitty flame, can she?" she taunted, wand raised. It wasva stupid move, even she could admit that, but it made no difference. She smiled a genuine smile at Isabelle, but it was twisted into a cruel sneer. "Crucio." she hissed. Raychel was surprised she had that amount of fury in her, but she quickly regained her focus.

Isabelle allowed the curse to hit her, there was only a split second of minor pain, no worse than a bee sting. "Tisk, tisk, into Unforgivable Curses are we?" she said, shaking her head lightly. "You really don't have the heart for them. You don't want to torture anybody, not even me. But if you really want to, I'll show you how it's done. Crucio." Her burgundy eyes flashed, she wanted to drink. No, she would flask some of her blood, and then use a refilling charm on it whenever she wanted more of the sweetest-smelling blood she had ever come across.

A split second before the curse caused her to back into a tree for support, Raychel saw the vampire's nostrils flare. The curse hit her full-force, and her mind was reeling. The curse dimmed and she was able to think clearly. She breathed heavily, clutching her wand tightly. She performed a quick spell, causing her wand to seem as sharp as a knofe if feel. She ran it down her clutched hand, hissing as a semi-deep cut was created. She returned her wand to normal and held out her blood-stained hand. "Bite me, I know you want to." She hissed, taunting her foe.

"I cannot lie, you know my desires," said Isabelle plainly, exercising every ounce of self control to not attack her now. "But I can wait." Yes, she could do that, but for how long, she was uncertain. Nonverbally, Isabelle cast a curse that if performed correctly would snap the tibia clean in half, and completely shatter the fibula. She listened for the sound of breaking bones, the screaming...

Raychel had not been expected Isabelle's move, and not only because it was nonverbal. With a quick snap, and a shriek of pain, Raychel toppled to the ground. She leaned over and examined her legs, both of which were broken in the same place. Raychel, although fluent in healing magic, was not in bone repair. She breathed out a harsh sigh in frustration. She was now completely immobile. She leaned against the tree trunk behind her and pulled her legs, hissing as they dragged along the ground. She placed them slightly beside her, out of the way. With a quick flick of her wand, she produced a drop of blood from her hand, sending it hurtling towards Isabelle.

Isabelle laughed as the bones in both of Raychel's legs snapped clearly in the night, relishing in her obvious pain. This was what she was all about, spreading the years of pain she herself had endured to the world. Make everyone fear the one they had once mocked. The blood landed on the back of Isabelle's hand. She examined it, her eyes fading to a darker and darker red. They turned entirely black as she delicately licked it off, and then looked hungrily at the nearly defenseless Raychel.
