Usually Hiroku would go into Flourish and Blotts to pull a prank. But today she actually needed something. She had run out of quills and had been borrowing some for the past few weeks. It was after N.E.W.T.s now, which should have meant they were done learning new things, but that was not true. So after visiting Laura in the Leaky Cauldron, Hiroku had come here.

She stepped into the old place and wandered to the back where she half-heartedly looked at all the books like she used to when she was little. Hiroku remember the times when she and Wolfgang would explore the store together, occasionally pulling the small prank. Things were different now. Wolfgang was in France and Angel was pregnant with his child. Hiroku didn't know what she would do when he came back. She was not happy about him for ditching his girlfriend, though Hiroku had initially disliked Angel. Now she sort of admired her, for being so strong on her own. Distracted by her thoughts, Hiroku headed for the quills and ran right into...

Todd. He had momentarily stopped in to examine the new merchandise. He picked himself back up and lifted the girl he had run into to her feet. "Oh gosh, I'm so sorry. Are you..." he paused, getting a good look at her face. He smiled bashfully. She was very beautiful, but he tried not to let his desire show on his face. "alright." he finished with a short breath. He laughed a bit at himself for running into such a lovely lady. He took her hand and brought it to his lips. His lips grazed across the back of her hand, while his eyes stayed locked on hers. "I'm Todd." he introduced, releasing her hand.

Hiroku blushed deeply upon running into someone in Flourish and Blotts, which seemed an extremely idiotic thing to do. But her blush deepened when she saw just who she had run into. It was a very handsome boy, probably just a bit older than herself, since she had never seen him in Hogwarts.

"I'm fine," Hiroku said after a moment, noting how he had paused upon seeing her as well. This was weird, it seemed to her that no one had ever given her a second look before. This boy was different. "I'm Hiroku," she replied, smiling a bit as her blush died down. "Sorry about that." Hiroku flicked her wand at the shelves that they had knocked over and they propped themselves back up.

Todd smiled, picking up the things he dropped. "It's alright. No big deal." he replied. He stood up and dusted his books off. He couldn't help but look her up and down once more, while her attention was directed someplace else. She was truly one of the most beautiful women he had ever seen. He felt his blush deepen as he diverted his gaze. He could seem smooth, but the last thing he wanted was for a girl to catch him staring, especially one with such beauty. He met Hiroku's gaze and smiled brilliantly, but bashfully.

Hiroku stared at the ground for a moment and then finally met Todd's gaze. Her pale skin lit up brilliantly red as he blushed as well. Hiroku managed to pull herself together again after a moment. After all, it was completely ridiculous to fall for a complete stranger, wasn't it? "Well that's certainly an interesting way to meet someone," Hiroku commented with a smile.

Todd laughed. " Yes." he replied with a smile. He ran his hand uncomfortably through his hair. "So um, do you wanna go grab a drink after this?" he asked coyly. "I mean, if it's not to weird to ask! I just want to... um..." he was at a loss for words. He blushed a brilliant bright red as he tried to come up with something intelligent to say.

Hiroku smiled as Todd lost his composure for a moment. It was nice to see that he seemed to like her back, at least. "Get to know me?" Hiroku suggested, trying to help the poor boy out. "Yes, I'd like that." She smiled again and they sort of stood there awkwardly. Then she remembered the quills. "But first I have to buy a few quills."

Todd bowed his head in thanks. "Of course." he replied. He watched her as she gathered the quills she needed and then headed towards the cash register. Todd was the sort of guy to jump headfirst into a relationship without any second guessing. He was hopelessly devoted and romantic, but he liked to go fast. His instincts were constantly battling his nature, each one telling him something different. With Hiroku, all he wanted to do was find some way to just kiss her, but another part of him told him to be rational. Todd was unaware of this battle raging however, when he locked onto Hiroku's gaze once more.

Hiroku paid for the quills and then stuffed the small bag in the pocket of her robes. She smiled to Todd, trying not to blush. "Where would you like to go?" she asked him, coming back over, wondering what he had in mind. Todd was certainly a strange character.
