Raychel stood just inside to the waiting room at St. Mungo's. She crossed one leg over the other nervously. Her hands were heating up from anxiety and it took every ounce of her being to control herself. Raychel didn't want to admit it, but she was terrified of what was to come. Raychel grabbed for Leviticus' hand, squeezing it tight. She had asked him to come along with her out of fear.
Her hands were concealed with black lace gloves, coming only up to her wrists. Her black dress, a red party dress charmed dark, was her clothing of choice. A pair of simple black heels clicked together as she yet again crossed her legs. She was unaccustomed to such clothing, but she was treating this as a funeral

Levi had put on what he felt to be acceptable, a pair of black slacks, black leather shoes, a white button-down, all under a black traveling cloak with silver fastenings. He held Raychel's hand tightly, stroking the back of her hand with his thumb lightly. They had only been seated in this small, depressing room for a few minutes, but it felt like hours.

Raychel took a shuddering breath. She didn't know how long she could sit there without bursting into flames or breaking down. Before she reached her peak, a tall, pale man came out and called her name. She stood up and walked over to him. The man seemed surprised. Raychel assumed that he believed her to be older. "Hello. This way." he muttered. Of course, he had to be the bearer of sadness. Raychel followed him down the narrow hallway. She was close enough to Levi that it was obvious she needed his support, but far enough away to show her determination to get through this with strength.

Levi held Raychel's hand, their fingers intertwined. It felt as if their hands were made to fit together. Sure, their relationship was only just blossoming, but Levi already felt as if he had known Raychel his whole life, but there was still more he had to figure out about her. He felt as if he did not belong here, but she had asked him to come, and Levi knew she needed his support more than anything he could offer.

The man guided them into a small room. He motioned for them to sit in two chairs facing a desk. Raychel took a seat and uncomfortably settled into the chair. She watched the man as he turned and ruffled through some documents.

Levi sat down in the other chair, still holding Raychel's hand. He watched as the man in front of them flicked through his pile of papers and folders for what felt like a very long time. The man finally put down a thin stack of papers and a manila folder on the desk, and then sat down with a sigh. Levi gave Raychel's hand a supportive squeeze, to let her know that he was there.

The man, who did introduce himself, began to read the wills. With each item, her parents left her with almost everything. Their wealth, which was a heavy sum because of their occupations, their cherished belongings, all of it was hers. Even the house on Thistlewood Run was hers.
When finished, the man cleared his throat. Raychel wiped the few tears from her eyes and begun to stand. The man shook his head, telling Raychel not to move. "There seems to be an issue with the will. You cannot legally be in position of the house until your eighteenth birthday." He replied. Raychel turned and began sobbing into Levi's shoulder. The tears were sudden, but true. Not only did she lose her parents, but now she was homeless.

Levi smoothed Raychel's hair with his left hand, still holding her hand with his right. He supposed that over the summer Raychel could stay at his place, he had no idea when her birthday was, but it couldn't be that far off since he knew her to be seventeen. "I know it's hard," said Levi, placing his hand under her chin, and then gently lifting her head so he could look her in the eye. "You can stay at my place until you are old enough to claim the lease."
(OOC: Thistlewood Run is a block of flats [apartments], not houses.)

((OOC: I know. Typo, haha. Also, Gabby and I have already arranged for Raychel to stay with her, so don't be hurt by her proposal))
Raychel shook her head. "I can't let you do that. It's not your burden to bear, let alone your family's. I'll find help with someone who lives by themselves. Perhaps Angel, or Gabby, once she rents her own place." she replied. Before Levi could protest, she placed a soft kiss on his lips. She pulled away an inch before speaking again. "Please." she whispered. Pulling away the last few feet, she stood. "Could I... see them?" she asked in a quiet voice. The man nodded wordlessly and told her which room to go to.

"D'you," Levi began after the man told him which room where Raychel's parents' bodies were located. "D'you want me to go with you?" He was going to be there for his girlfriend, even if it was going far from his comfort zone. Bodies made him feel woozy, he didn't even like killing spiders, he would much rather catch them in a cup and set them free outside, but if Raychel wanted him to.
(OOC: No offense taken, besides, it would be kind of awkward since they still barely know each other)

Raychel began through the door, head held high. "If you don't want to, you don't have to come along." She strode through the hallways, determination on her face. When the door marked "Morgue" appeared before her, she paused and turned to Levi. "It's your choice, but I have to see them. It will provide..." Raychel paused, clearing her throat uneasily. "It will provide closure."

Levi nodded, he understood that. He would go in there, but perhaps linger by the door until she was ready to leave. He opened the door for her, and once Raychel had entered the room, he followed. Levi didn't take but two steps into the room when he side-stepped and leaned against the wall, staring intently at the floor by his feet, as if fascinated by it somehow.

Her parents were lying, bodies half covered by a sheet. Raychel walked forward slowly. Reaching her parents, she smiled gently. The wizards and witches had covered the scent of death and the discoloration with a simple spell. No doubt the spell would wear out after the funeral. Raychel leaned over and pulled the sheets up around their chins, like they would do to her when she was young. Placing a small kiss on each of their foreheads, she bid them farewell. She walked over to Levi and pulled him into a soft hug, the tears falling from her cheeks.

Levi held Raychel softly, allowing her to cry into his cloak. He smoothed her hair, unsure of what to say. He couldn't relate to her situation very well, the only person Levi had really lost was his maternal grandfather, but they had not been close. He remained silent, the only thing he knew that could be anything of a comfort.

Raychel wanted to stay there in Levi's arms forever. It was the only place she felt safe. Everything was so perfect, except for the fact her mother and father were laying dead on an operating table behind her. Trying not to think of them, she looked up. She had no idea how to express her gratefulness to Levi. She smiled faintly, the tears beginning to dry on her cheeks. She sighed heavily and laid her head on his shoulder. "I miss them." was all she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
