Vivienne nodded. "Sure." She replied. Her owl did need some food, and she needed to buy more treats for the cats at the train station. Maybe she could convince herself to buy some soap and sneak some into the house to wash. Maybe then they would find homes. Vivienne was always the optimist of the family. She wasn't entirely sure of where that trait came from. It certainly didn't come from their father, who had gotten himself locked because of his lack of optimism. Her mother didn't have much, considering she was crying most of the day. The only thing she had was devastation. She supposed it could have come from a distant relative, like her great-aunt Bellatrix Lestrange. She had a twisted optimism, if Vivienne thought real hard about it.

Isaac took a moment and thought about his close friend, Angel, it was odd to think of her not being at work anymore. He had been there when the manager fired her because she had said the healer told her to go on maternity leave, it was rather cruel of him, as she did need the money. Isaac supposed that she knew that if she ever had any financial struggles that she could come to him, but would probably be too proud to do so. Isaac led the way to the Magical Menagerie, which was on the opposite end of Diagon Alley.

Vivienne quickly stepped inside the Menagerie. She scanned the isles for what she was looking for. She bagged a box of owl snacks, and some things for the cats. She made no effort of explaning the cat toys, food, soap, and collars. There was enough for three; Tom, the scruffy tomcat she had drawn earlier, Sheila, the pretty and shy persian, and Kira, the rambunctious offspring. She had no idea what happened to the other kittens, but she believed that something had picked them up and carried them off. It was an unfortunate thought, but probably true.

Isaac did not pay any mind to all of the cat things that Vivienne was picking up, as he did know that she had a calico (he could not recall his or her name at the moment for whatever reason). He writ off her getting three collars as wanting her cat to have extras. Isaac pulled out his wallet that had been enchanted to carry their coin currency easily, and then paid the old man behind the cash register. "Have a nice day," he said as he handed Vivienne the bag. "You too," said Isaac, depositing a handful of Galleons into the tip jar.

Vivienne smiled as the man handed her the bag. She bowed her head politely and walked out with Isaac. The weather, which only moments ago had been sunny, was now turning into a cloduy, dismal day. Vivienne smiled, for she loved rain. "Where to now Izzy?"

"I dunno," said Isaac, for he really did not need anything. Pansy's extreme maternal instincts seemed to tell her whenever he was running low on something, or had broken his last quill. It was kind of scary, getting refills on potion supplies when he just realized that he was nearly out of something. Isaac swore she watched him incessantly by some means that could penetrate the walls of Hogwarts.

Vivienne waited patiently for a more literate answer from her brother. She knew he would say something eventually. He always had something to say. She loved him for that. Vivienne transferred the bag onto her other shoulder for more comfort as it began to drizzle. Just as Vivienne had predicted, the drizzle was only mild, but the longer they stood there contemplating, the harder it continued.

"Is there anywhere you want to go?" Isaac asked her, not minding the drizzle in the slightest, but he would do an umbrella charm or something if Vivienne got cold. He of course, would not mind getting a drink at the Leaky Cauldron, however, it might raise suspicion from his sister if he drank a Firewhiskey and drove home normally. Isaac had yet to share with his family (spare for Safira) that he was a vampire.

Vivienne shrugged. "Anywhere but home." She replied softly. Normally she wouldn't say anything like that. She didn't realize the real affect her mother had on her. Looking down at her feet, she grimaced.

Isaac laughed softly, he could understand that. At least Vivienne would be going off to Hogwarts next year, and would only have to put up with their mother over the summer, since Safira, Bella, and himself had always gotten away with staying at the castle for Christmas. The exception being in his third year when they went to their castle in Romania over the winter holidays. Isaac almost suggested they go and visit Angel, but then recalled she was no longer working. "Care to look around Wizard Wheezes?" asked Isaac. The shop was always good fun, and it had been a while since his last visit.

Vivienne smiled. "Sure." she replied. She knew that he brother was, or at least used to be, quite the prankster. She enjoyed listening to stories of exploding armor, snakes falling from the rafters, or some other, clever, prank. She sighed absently. She was looking forward to following in her brother's large shoes. She already had the brains that he did, the prankish attitude to match. The only thing different about her and her brother was her stature. Yes, her brother was polite, but Vivienne felt like a little lady. Like her brother however, she despised the Malfoy way of life.

"People might be expecting trouble out of you," said Isaac, small smirk coming to his lips. "I've been kind of dormant these days, but I'm sure you've heard mum rant about everything I've done." He found that jokes weren't high on his priority list anymore, it was almost as if he had grown up. But Isaac had been a dramatically different person before he started going out with Gabriella. He was in trouble all the time, and only got decent marks because he would often cheat. Isaac had even slept with a few girls before meeting his fiancee. Gabriella had changed him for the better. He just hoped that his sisters wouldn't go down the same path, there might not be someone to save them when they had gotten too corrupted. Isaac had not shared this with Gabriella, but he felt she needed to know this.

A small smirk, almost identical to the one Isaac now wore, pulled at the corner of Vivienne's lips. She had expected that comment. She looked up at her brother and gave him a knowing glance. This glance was something that used to be present on her brother often. Since Gabriella however, it had been dormant in him, like he had said. The smirk soon turned into a sweet smile however. "You know I wouldn't do half of the crazy things you used to. Now the other half however..." she trailed off mockingly.

"I suppose that I could show you a few tricks of the trade this afternoon, eh?" said Isaac, now pulling open the door to Weasley's Wizard Wheezes and holding it open. The shop was chaotic, as always, but relatively empty owing to the fact that school was in session for a few weeks still. But once Hogwarts would release students for the summer, they would be crammed with business.
