The wind blowing past her hair, Gabriella felt truly amazing, even though she was constantly ducking tree limbs in the middle of the Forbidden Forest. But no one had to know she was there, after all vampires made virtually no sound as they ran, and Gabriella was one of the best at that. She could avoid all the twigs and go at a pace fast enough that breathing wasn't even an option.

As usual, her long hair was down and flowing outward behind her. It felt quite good to stretch her long legs as well. The forest was one of the few places Gabriella could run without distraction. It would attract some attention if she was suddenly next to the castle and the next moment at the edge of the forest, so Gabriella had walked here. But once inside the heavily blanketed trees, she had run. And run like the wind.

She slowed to a stop in a clearing near the edge of the woods, most of her stressed thoughts having left her head by now. Gabriella inhaled slightly (she had perfected the art so it looked like she was merely breathing) and found that no one was around. Excellent. The seventeen year-old stepped out of the woods and back onto the part of the grounds were most were allowed to go. She was beginning to walk back toward the castle when she caught the scent of someone familiar. Gabriella turned to her left to see who it was.

Raychel, out of her usual run. She had her long hair thrown back in a ponytail, and as she saw Gabby she smiled softly. Stopping, she reached behind her and withdrew the towel she had wrapped around her waist. She dabbed at her forehead and walked past Gabby, grabbing her water laying there and taking a swig. As she regained her breath, she turned towards Gabby and smiled. "Hey Gabs. What's up?"

"Hey Raychel," Gabriella replied with a smile upon seeing one of her newer friends, who had helped her a bit with wedding planning about a week ago. "I was just running a bit, as you were, I see." Gabriella couldn't help but think Raychel might be a bit confused, as Gabriella's hair was down and she hadn't broken a sweat, nor was she out of breath as Raychel was. This amused Gabriella a little bit, but it was one of the few good things about being a vampire. It came with a price, as did everything else, it seemed.

Raychel smiled back, but she was indeed a bit confused. It did not show a bit on her features though, and she kept to herself. She took another swig of her water, savoring the cool drink, before pestering her friend further. "How are the wedding plans coming along?" she asked.

Gabriella grinned slightly at the mention of the wedding, but inside she felt a bit nervous. It was drawing ever closer and Gabriella still hadn't finalized bridesmaids, which were pretty important in a wedding. "Alright, I suppose," she replied. "Would you like to be a bridesmaid?" The words came out suddenly, and without very much thought, but Gabriella didn't regret them. Though she hadn't known Raychel for long, she could tell they could be good friends.

Raychel was silent at Gabby's instant request. She was taken aback. Flattered, but surprised. She hadn't really expected this question so soon, if ever, and she was surprised to hear it uttered. She had only recently met Gabriella, and they had almost instantly bonded when Raychel had helped out with some of the wedding details. Finally, she plastered a broad smile onto her face, a countenance she almost always had on. "Of course, I would be honored." she replied.

"Excellent!" Gabriella replied with a grin, glad Raychel had accepted. She quickly (well fairly slowly for her) pulled her notebook out of a pocket and opened it to the bridesmaid page and wrote in Raychel's name. So far she had Angel, Jenna, Emily, and now Raychel. Of course, Gabriella could always call on some of her younger cousins if she needed to. But she had been thinking of asking Isaac's sisters, Safira and Bella. But only if Isaac thought it was a good idea.

Raychel smiled and watched while Gabby poured over her wedding details. She didn't say a word, giving Gabby the time to think. It would be wonderful to be at Isaac and Gabby's wedding. She found the both of them to be quite charming, plus she knew Angel would be there. Angel and her had bonded quite well recently, since she was the one Raychel went to after she broke up with Jack.

Gabriella stuck her notebook back inside her robes, briefly wondering if it was cold outside. The air seemed slightly cold, and there was a bit of breeze, so she supposed so. However, Gabriella felt fine, as her body temperature was colder than the air. "What have you been up to recently?" she asked, turning her thoughts back to Raychel.
