he was early, very early. Jack had always been one to arrive to a class at least 15 minutes early. But seeing he was still getting use to the grounds, he liked to be a half hour early to a class, just incase he got loss. Today though he was an hour early for his class, due to not wanting to stick around in the commons. He felt the need to stretch his legs, though he would have rather done that in hogsmeade than here at the Castle, but he'd have to wait two more days before he could get out of the castle and walk around Hogsmeade with his fellow classmates. He smiled as he walked up the stair case as someone walked passed him in the opposite direction. Standing still, he would wait for the staircase to stop moving. He was unaware of someone being behind him on the staircase.

Cora was up unusually early to wander around the castle. But she had been at breakfast and now was going to send a letter before her first lesson at Care of Magical Creatures. Cora felt this was a lot of exercise for one day, but she would do it Coming up behind an older boy, Cora put on her nice face and smiled. "Hello," she said as she pulled up next to him. After dumping a sixth year two days ago, Cora was once again single and ready to flirt, even if he was three years older.

He turned around after hearing a females voice. "Hello" She was cute, younger than him for certain, but he couldn't tell how much younger. The staircase was still moving, so he was naturaly waiting for it to move the opposite direction before he would start walking again. " My names Jack Greyer" Though most people now, whether or not they were at the dinner a few nights ago that he had arrived at Hogwarts, had heard his name even if they didn't remember his face. The headmistress had announced his transfer from Beauxbaton and asked that hogwarts student to show warmth and kindnesss to him like they should. Beauxbatons students showed a lot of manners, usualy so he was trying to hold back on it, get back to his roots before he started school there, but it was just apart of him. He liked being a gentlemen. He extended his hand, so she could place her hand ontop of his and he could give her hand a proper introduction kiss.

"I'm Cora Ressel," she replied, not bothering to mention the whole Eliza-Coraline thing. It got most people confused. "Nice to meet you Jack," Cora added, extending her hand to shake his. Jack was quite handsome and Cora was still smiling, though her book-bag was weighing heavily on her shoulder.

Taking her hand, he did not shake it, he brought it to her lips . It was how he was raised and going to a school that was mostly filled with such manners helped push the gentlemen style onto him. He smiled and noticed the girl was leaning a bit towards the side where her back back hung. "Here .. let me carry your books." He smiled towards the young girl. Seriously, it looked as if she had every book she owned in that thing. This case by books, he meant bookbag.

"So Cora.. where are you headed?"

Cora was quite surprised that Jack had kissed her hand, but she didn't show it. Instead she just smiled, and her smile widened when he offered to carry her books. That was quite nice, considering how heavy they were. "Thank you," she said, slipping the bag off her shoulder. "I'm headed for the owlrey to send a letter to my brother." Cora shrugged slightly. Bradly liked to talk to her and Dean a lot, though Cora didn't quite know why.

"you are welcome." He said properly in reply to her thank you for carry her books. Before even placing the bag on his shoulder, the weight of the thing was well horrible. He wondered how she could walk up so many stairs with the thing. Placing it on his shoulder like it was a feather, no look on his face saying it was heavy, he listened to her talk some mmore. "I'm guessing older brother... must be nice to have an older brother, I'm the oldest in my family." he explained. He liked being the older brother but at the same time he wondered what his life would be if he had someone to look up to.

Cora nodded to Jack's short speech about having an older brother. Cora supposed it was nice that she had Bradly, especially since both of her parents were dead. Without Bradly having custody, she and Dean would still be stuck in the orphanage. Those had been bad years. "Yes, it is nice," Cora replied. "Dean and I are twins, and Bradly is eighteen. That's it for my family. How about yours?"

" My mom and dad are both muggles in their 40s and I have a two younger brothers Cassidy who has no magic and Sydney who is in his 3rd year here. He's been going here since his first year. This is my first year.. and I find it a little ironic that my first year is my last year." He smiled as he continued to walk with her as they moved down the hall and towards the owls.
