Gabriella shrugged, she didn't really care at this point, anyway. "Sounds good to me," she replied, her eyes scanning the corridor they were in until she found a window. "Like to jump?" she asked quickly, far to quickly for any human to hear.

"But of course," said Isaac, gently sliding his finger between the latch and the window and quietly flicking it open. He pushed the panes outward and a cool night breeze flooded in. Isaac could already smell his prey in the forest. he was hungry. "Ready?" Isaac asked.

Gabriella was immediately on the windowsill beside him, her hand latched onto his once more. "Set, go!" she whispered, and pushed off from the window, letting herself enjoy the feeling of free-falling and seeing the beauty of the world around them.

Isaac landed lightly on his feet, like a cat from a short jump. He turned his head upward and smelled the air, trying to pin-point the exact location of his prey. A large buck and his mate. They were currently sound asleep, easy targets.

Gabriella had landed less than a second behind him, with the same ease. She could smell the centaurs as well and darted off in their direction, her feet light on the ground. It was so easy to run silently when you weren't under pressure. Gabriella smiled a bit to herself and then checked to make sure Isaac was with her.

Isaac pushed himself to go a little bit faster. Gabriella was much more nimble and swift on her feet than he was. Not that Isaac wasn't quick, he just wasn't as fast as Gabriella was. Isaac easily flitted between trees in direction of the centaurs, then leaped, cracking the neck of the male, so he wouldn't be in any pain as Isaac drank from him.

The neck of the female centaur snapped loudly, but Gabriella didn't wince. At least the centaur hadn't had time to notice that her mate was dead beside her. Gabriella bent down and drank the blood of the centaur, feeling her eyes turn a bright gold. Much better.

Isaac drank quickly. The blood of centaurs was abundant since they were so large. He was no longer so messy when he fed off of his prey, he didn't waste a single drop. His eyes faded from the steely grey that he bewitched them to be to a bright gold. Isaac straightened up and drew his wand and made two graves for the centaurs. He carefully placed them inside and with the reverse charm filled the graves.

Gabriella had sincerely thought about being a vegetarian before she had been Turned, but now that was clearly not an option. It still surprised her sometimes how easily she could hunt, without thinking twice about what she was killing. It was different if the person was human, though. Gabriella honestly couldn't say if she could live with herself if she killed someone, especially someone she knew. She looked to Isaac. "What now?" she asked.

Isaac leaned against a tree, he had not thought about that part. he had been more concerned with feeding on something tonight so he didn't go on rampage within the castle, but now he was filled from the centaur, since they carried so much blood. "Whatever you want, my love." said Isaac.

That was Isaac, always asking her what she wanted to do instead. If she was human, they would be on a date right now, ordering their food. He would pay, he always would, even if she resisted. But they were not humans, they had to have other agendas, otherwise they wouldn't survive.

"Let's go for a run," Gabriella decided, grabbing his hand and tugging a little bit. She probably would have pulled any human over, but Isaac could handle it, he was strong, even for a vampire. The woods smelled like winter, crisp and clear. It seemed like a good time for a run.

Isaac didn't object verbally, but running was not one of his favourite things to do. But he would be gentlymanly and not complain about it. The tug on his arm from Gabriella had felt nothing more than a gentle pull, which could have very easily ripped someone's arm out of their socket. "All right," said Isaac, and then began to run, having to work very hard at keeping up with his fiancé.

Gabriella slowed her pace ever so slightly. She wanted Isaac to enjoy this, not constantly be trying to keep up with her, as he was right now. She never failed to forget- just for a moment- that she was much faster than him. Then again, he was far stronger than her, so it all balanced out.

The trees were beautiful as they rushed past, and Gabriella breathed deeply as they continued on, loving every minute of it. Running was so simple, everything was so much more difficult than this, it would be nice if it were all so easy.

Isaac was grateful that Gabriella had slowed her pace. It was much easier to keep up with her now. Since he wasn't scrambling, running was now fairly enjoyable. All the smells and sights whipping past in what would be blurs to humans, but as a vampire, were crisp and clear because of his superior eyes. Isaac smiled, glad that he was with the only person in the world that made him feel complete.
