Bella's father had managed the impossible, her had continued to make her life hell from inside Azkaban. Only this time no one else knew about it, since her mother was always at home and her siblings had spent less and less time at the Slytherin common room or dinner table. So, Bella had been getting all sorts of letters from friends of her fathers, asking her if she wanted to come to this Death Eater meeting, or that one. Finally Bella had given in. Tonight, she was running with the Death Eaters.

She slipped on her father's old mask and entered the Forbidden Forest. Her stomach was clenched tight, as she knew she really shouldn't be doing this. But she was angry and the letters had promised an opportunity to vent. Plus she was hoping they would stop bugging her after she pledged her undying support, supposedly.

The Death Eaters approached, their arrival signaled by the appearance of a dozen masks glinting in the moonlight. Beneath her mask, Bella had a strange sort of grimace mixed with a smile. What was she getting herself into? She walked over to greet them, but before she could speak, someone did that for her. "Welcome, Bellatrix," said a man's voice, the first Death Eater. Bella decided not to correct him on her name. She merely nodded. "Tonight we're just scoping the forest, seeing if we can catch any disobedient students." Bella nodded, but was grinning behind her mask at the irony. That was exactly what she was doing...

Isabelle stepped forward, behind her mask. It was different from the other Death Eaters' mask. Hers was scarlet red with a modified Dark Mark on the left cheek in black. Isabelle was going to finish the noble work of Voldemort before her, kill off those inferior races and create a world dominated by purebloods. The few muggles that they didn't kill would be kept as pets. "Remember, bring them to me, preferably alive." Isabelle said, tone behind the mask modified so that it didn't sound like her. "Be wary of the centaurs, kill them if you have to."

Bella had to work not to jump at the sound of a new voice. She slowly looked over at the new arriver, and saw that this mask was different, the mask of their leader. Isabelle. Even Bella knew that. "Yes Ma'am," said what seemed to be the lead Death Eater in this whole plot. Bella merely nodded.

"Get to work," Isabelle said coldly. "We haven't got much time, do not keep me waiting." She watched as her small band went out. There were more, of course, otherwise they wouldn't be so powerful. She didn't need many on this simply task. Isabelle leaned against a tree, now she would wait.

The Death Eaters nodded, and Bella weaved her way to the center of the crowd so she would blend in. That way, hopefully, she wouldn't get picked on by any of the senior Death Eaters. But they had begged her so much, she was pretty sure she could find a good comeback for any of them, spare Isabelle of course. That woman was freaky.

They went further and further into the forest, and Bella's heart was beating faster. Part of her wanted to please Isabelle and bring someone back, but part of her hoped no one was in the forest tonight. No one short of a super-human would stand a chance against all these Death Eaters, Bella included.

Leaning against a tree, she waited. If she knew better, she would have a much larger group, but too many people made excessive noise. Isabelle could wait, but she was steadily growing impatient. Perhaps she would snag something to drink from while she waited. Isabelle preferred blood of the human variety, but animals could sustain her for a little while...

Gabriella drained the wolf and her eyes turned a bright gold. She would use her Metamorphagus powers to change them back to chocolate later, but for now she didn't care too much. Using her wand, a grave was dug and she picked up the lone wolf's body and gently set it down in the hole and filled it back up. It was almost too easy, no one ever found the dead wolves she and Isaac ate.

She heard the sound of rustling in the trees and little ways away and realized she hadn't been paying enough attention. She smelled the air, finding a dozen fastly beating hearts, searching the forest for something. Gabriella recognized a few scents, Death Eaters. Quickly approaching. Crap. They were in her way out of the woods too.

She started to run, heading a few yards to the left of them. If she went fast enough, they wouldn't notice. All she had to do was not run into anything, which was easier said than done when one was in a complete panic. A twig snapped loudly beneath her feet and Gabriella swore under her breath. They turned, she could tell they saw her. And the chase was on.

Bella was the first one to notice the girl running by them and she sent fire at the girl, but missed quite badly. The girl was amazingly fast, and Bella didn't have time to recognize her. Within moments, a flurry of spells flew from the band of Death Eaters. All of them missed. "A vampire," hissed the leader of their small band. He turned to Bella. "Run and get Isabelle." He pushed her, hard, and she nearly fell to the ground as she took off running.

Tree branches scratched at Bella's arms, but at least the damned mask protected her face. Tonight was definitely not going as planned. Clearly Hogwarts had some vampire girl at the school, hunting in their forest. "ISABELLE!" Bella shouted as she approached the place where they had met. Oh she was so dead.

Isabelle flinched when she heard her name being shouted. Most of those idiots knew better than that. She had not been paying attention, she was busying herself with drinking from a unicorn. She threw the corpse down to the ground, wiped her mouth and donned her mask. "What?" Isabelle said harshly. "What have you found?"

Bella felt her stomach churn at the sight of the dead unicorn thrown casually onto the ground. How could Isabelle kill something so beautiful? It seemed so cruel. Bella pushed the thought aside and refocused quickly. "We found a vampire," she told her master, wondering how Isabelle hadn't noticed the commotion by now. Wasn't she was vampire too? "A young vampire girl, probably goes to school here," Bella added, feeling very out of breath.

Isabelle grinned from behind the confines of her mask, it was probably that Weasley girl. She had been wanting to get her hands on that girl for a long time. Leave the vampire girl, she's mine. Isabelle projected to her Death Eaters. She had just had unicorn blood, it made her stronger and faster than before. She ran, looking and smelling for the Weasley girl.

Gabriella was further into the woods when she heard a shout. ISABELLE! Oh crap, Isabelle was here? Gabriella pushed herself faster, if that was even possible, and began hoping that Isabelle had not eaten lately. With a quick inhale of breath, Gabriella caught the other vampire's scent, coming behind her. She jumped at a tree and started climbing up, barely touching each branch before she was on the next.
