Jasmine smiled and hugged her cousin back. "No, Angel. Its fine." she held her cousin at an arms length. "I don't see this as a curse... Granted I haven't changed yet. I see it as an opportunity, to live my life differently. To live free."

Angel wanted to scream at Jasmine. Now she was just being stupid. It was a curse. If anybody ever found out, she would be an outcast for life. She didn't know what she was saying. But, Angel was not in the mood for defending an argument, so she didn't say anything about how she thought Jasmine was wrong. "Just wait until next full moon, you'll take back what you said." Angel said quietly.

Jasmine noticed the strain in her cousin's voice and she immediately regretted saying what she said to Angel. She got up in a huff. "Well..." she muttered. "Fine then Angie. If that's how you want it." she replied bitterly. Biting her lip, she turned to her cousin with eyes swimming. "I'm sorry for snapping at you, I just have a terrible temper now." she apologized.

Angel immediately sprang off the bench in spite of how tired she was, for her temper was flaring as well. She took a few breaths to calm herself. Why were they so touchy? From her father's description of Remus Lupin, he was very patient. Perhaps he had been a werewolf longer. "It's alright, Jazz." said Angel, then pulled her cousin into a tight hug.

Jasmine felt the tingling sensation of her temper quiet into a small flickering flame, and she sighed, hugging her cousin back. "I apologize." she said, but then she managed out a laugh. "Never what it seems, is it dear Angel? According to our parents, Remus was never this temperamental."
