Gabriella laughed slightly. "Well, perhaps he tells the story the way he sees life," she said, with a small shrug. "Which would be in a very perverted way," she added as a small side-note. Gabriella watched as Allison carefully concealed the crest on her bookmark, wondering why.

Allison sighed. "You noticed that huh?" she asked absentmindedly. "My family crest. The most hideous and ugly little seal." she sneered at the bookmark. She hated it, and didn't feel like hiding her true feelings anymore. It was just too hard.

Gabriella could have gasped or laughed, and she was torn between which to do. It was very peculiar indeed to see a Malfoy scoff at their own crest. Allison was so like Isaac it was amazing. Gabriella smiled a bit.

Allison laughed. "Feel free to laugh. Its fine." she smiled. Allison watched Gabby's confused expression and she couldn't help but laugh again. "I understand how you feel..." she replied, leaning back in her chair.

Gabriella chuckled slightly, but didn't burst out laughing. The funniness was fading a bit. "You're a lot like your brother, you know," Gabriella said thoughtfully, picking up her quill and writing a few more lines on the paper.

Allison beamed. "Yeah. Haven't heard that before." she replied sarcastically. She laughed a bit, then leaned forward. "You know, I used to be a proud Malfoy. I used to hate my brother. But now... we've never been closer, and I see that my parents were never much as parent-like as they seem."

Gabriella smiled slightly at this, glad to see that Isaac and Allison had found something in common to latch onto. "Well at least you're better off now," Gabriella replied, scratching in more lines as she spoke. It was lucky she had all the time in the world, otherwise she would never finish these things.

Allison nodded, surprised Gabriella would see it that way. Then again, she was Isaac's girlfriend. She shook her head of that thought and returned to her book, slightly paying attention to what was happening, slightly watching Gabby.

Gabriella's hand moved only a little bit too fast across the paper and only with pauses that were slightly too short to be from a normal human. At least she was giving it an effort, though. At night she usually just wrote as fast as she could, letting her brain speed through everything at a vampire's speed.
