Angel jumped out of her seat the second that she heard tapping on the window. She still felt a little buzzed, so everything swayed a bit around her. She dragged herself over to the window and let in a tired-looking owl. He gave her the letter, then flew away. She seated herself after closing the window, breathing heavily. She was so tired, but she knew that Wolfgang's letter would come late. She tore the seal and began to read. Angel emitted a huge sigh of relief. Wolfgang had broken his ankle and gotten a salamander bite, but they were mended in the course of a few seconds. She would see him in one piece over Christmas. Angel could have laughed. But she was far too tired for that. She held the letter to her chest, eyelids feeling very heavy. She fell asleep in the chair, fire before her slowly dying.

Jenna came down from her dormitory to the common room. She was far too tired of pretending to be asleep. She didn't know why, but lately she hadn't been able to sleep. It wasn't that she was worried or exhausted, she felt like it was because she was so happy. Jenna immediately noticed Angel in the chair, clutching a letter. Jenna supposed that it was from Wolfgang, telling Angel that he was alright. Jenna was quite glad of this, because Angel now looked much more at rest, something that Jenna hadn't seen in a very long time. Jenna sat down on a couch next to her cousin, letting Angel's steady breathing relax her.

She and Wolfgang were holding hands in a little shop, drinking coffee. Angel had never seen the place before, but it was very cozy. They were talking in whispers, sitting very close together in their booth. Although the shop was crowded, the rest of the people didn't matter. Wolfgang leaned in close. "I have something to tell you that I should have said a long time ago," he whispered. "What?" asked Angel.
Angel sighed in her sleep, allowing herself to sink further into the chair.

There was little warning before Jenna found her mind inside Angel's dream. Shoot, she really needed to get better at the whole blocking other people's minds thing. But Jenna soon found herself intrigued, and though she tried to block the images out of her mind, she found that at the moment, she was too tired to put up much of an effort.

[[OOC: I know this is random, but this is based off a dream I had once...]]
"What do you need to tell me, Wolfie?" Angel said, staring into Wolfgang's eyes. But they looked different. Not the warm, intelligent background. But they seemed distant and cold, almost glazed-over. Wolfgang grinned, but his teeth were rotten, spiderwebs laced within the gaps that should hold other teeth. He turned pale and clammy, robes covered with blood. "I died in the first task, Angie." Wolfgang said, voice suddenly hard and raspy. He grabbed his hair and pulled, his head came off! Angel screamed and began to run, but the headless Wolfgang began to chase her. Suddenly, everyone else was pulling off their heads, turning into corpses...
Angel's eyelids flew open and she gasped. She felt as if she had been running. That had been the scariest dream in her life, she probably wouldn't be able to go back to sleep tonight.

Jenna found herself jumping along with Angel, but distracted herself by staring into the fire as her cousin woke up. Then she glanced her way again. "Hello Angel," Jenna said with a smile. "Did you get a letter from Wolfgang?"

Angel took a few steadying breaths, that would be the end of her sleeping for the night. Maybe even for an entire week if she were going to be so unfortunate. That typically happened, her nightmares always recurred night after night. "Yes, I did." said Angel. "He lived through the first task."

Jenna smiled warmly at her cousin with a side-glance into the fire again. It looked like it was going to eat away all of the happiness in the world. Jenna shook her head, how strange. "That's good, did he tell you what place he got?" Jenna asked.

Angel shook her head. She wished that he had. It didn't matter to her what place he came in, she would be proud of him still, even if he was in dead last. Not many got the opportunity to compete in the tournament. But she was worried sick, especially about what happened last time. "He never writes much." said Angel.

Jenna nodded sadly in reply. It would be nice to have some news about the Tournament, the Prophet hadn't said very much recently. "Well, I'm sure he did fabulously," Jenna said, mustering all of her happiness and giving Angel a smile.

Angel smiled a little bit as well, trying to convince herself that he did. But place didn't matter. "I'm sure he did too," said Angel. The date in which she would leave for France was drawing steadily nearer, she was getting excited now.

"You're going to France for the holidays, correct?" Jenna asked, though she already knew it was true, she had heard it in many people's minds. There, the thought had just flashed in Angel's mind as well. Jenna tried to shut down her telepathy again, but was too tired to close out much.

"Yes, I am." Angel said, grinning. She was going to pack tomorrow, even though her date of departure was still another week away. She sat up straighter, feeling more alert now that they had gotten onto a subject away from her horrid dream and the task.

Jenna returned Angel's grin whole-heartedly. Hopefully Angel would be able to relax more in France while she was around Wolfgang. They were really close and Jenna could see that Angel really loved him. "That should be fun," Jenna replied. "Will you two be going to the Yule Ball together?"
