Gabriella smiled. This was certainly Emily's specialty. Gabriella nodded and pulled out her wand. Within seconds, the page was re-arranged how Emily wanted it. It was much better than re-writing the whole thing. "How's that?" Gabriella asked, handing it back to her younger sister.

Emily read the letter again, giving a small smile again. "You have learned well, grasshopper." Emily said in a horrible impersonation of a Japanese accent. She handed the letter back to her older sister. Gabriella would learn well from manipulative Emily. Hermione was a lot harder to dupe than Ron, but she could still do it.

Gabriella burst into a small fit of giggles. Emily's attempt at an impersonation had been pretty bad, but quite amusing. "I see that I have," Gabriella replied. She folded the letter, making sure the ink wouldn't smudge. "I'll mail this later, tonight probably." It wasn't like Gabriella did much at night anyway. She could take a trip to the owlrey.

Emily couldn't deny herself at a small chuckle caused by Gabriella's very school-girlish giggling fit. "That's good, we need to have some time to confirm our changes to our holiday plans. Everything should go as needed. Mum has a hard time saying no when there's a need for a library involved." said Emily.

Gabriella chuckled once again. Emily was rather funny when she wanted to be. Hermione and libraries; that was a definite point. "Yes, plus she's really a sucker for her kids once you get right down to it," Gabriella replied. Hopefully everything would go as planned.

"You're anxious," said Emily, she could see it in how her sister was sitting. "She won't get mad, if she doesn't want us to stay she'll just have us come home. But our chances are pretty good at this point." She drew her cloak around herself again.

Gabriella nodded, Emily was probably right anyway. For the moment, Gabriella was silent, staring into the ground, losing herself in her thoughts. So, without any warning, her disguise slipped. Her eyes turned the darkest shade of ebony, her skin extremely pale. She noticed immediately, and changed it back. Gabriella glanced at her sister to see if she had noticed.

In one quick movement, Emily had jumped up from her spot and about two feet away from where she had originally been. "What in the bloody hell just happened there?" Emily demanded, wanting to just release a stream of curses as her heart pounded a violent tattoo against her ribcage.

Oh shit, she had definitely noticed. Well, this wasn't really how Gabriella had planned to tell her, but Emily clearly had to know, now. "Em, I've got to tell you something," Gabriella said seriously, hoping Emily would calm down. "But you can't tell anyone."

"You're damn right you have some explaining to do," Emily said, feeling her heart begin to slow down a bit, but still hammering all the same. She sat back down, still not feeling her best. "And Gabs, you know that you can trust me." Emily added.

Gabriella nodded. Of course she could trust Emily, they could always trust each other. That was just the way it was. Gabriella took a deep breath, mentally preparing herself for Emily's reaction. "Well, Em," she said slowly. "I'm a vampire." There, the words were out once more.

Gabriella, a vampire? Emily had to admit that it was kind of creepy, sitting this close to someone perfectly capable of killing her without magic She could control herself very well, although this news was shocking, she wasn't scared. "Well that explains a lot..." said Emily. "I guess I won't tell you "bite me" anymore." She finished with a sly grin.

Well, that had certainly gone well. Emily had even managed to make a joke out of it, something Gabriella had hardly expected. "Yes, I suppose that would be good, huh?" Gabriella replied with a smile. She half-expected Emily to ask her questions, but decided that she would just get some things out of the way first. "I got Turned in April, a week after my birthday," Gabriella said. "I didn't tell anyone for a while. After school started this year, I almost died from lack of blood, but I lived. I got blood from Isabelle until she left..."

Emily noticed how abruptly Gabriella's sentence cut off, perhaps there was something that needed to be uncovered with a bit of prying on her part. "So how are you getting your blood now, surely you're not starving yourself." said Emily, drawing her cloak tighter still around her. "Are you?"

Gabriella didn't meet Emily's eyes this time. She wasn't trying to starve herself, but she hadn't gotten around to hunting just yet. So she hadn't had blood in a while. And of course she wouldn't let herself drink the stuff in the hospital wing either. "I'm hunting animals," Gabriella said firmly.
