Too Far (Anyone)

Isaac hugged back, although he knew that the simple, comforting gesture would be unable to heal him. He had nothing but the deepest remorse for his actions, in spite of the fact that he was a newborn and had little to no control over his thirst. "I'm not so sure," Isaac said very quietly. "I killed twice in the course of five minutes, tell me how that isn't a monster."

Gabriella sighed. She was afraid of this, it was similar to what she had told Jasmine. "You didn't know how to control yourself yet, you couldn't ignore your thirst. It's nearly impossible, newborns need blood," Gabriella said.

Isaac gave a slight frown. He kneaded his forehead with his knuckles. The looks on their faces... He couldn't drive them from his mind. Isaac felt he never would be able to. He would have to live with that guilt forever. "Does it ever go away?" Isaac asked.

Gabriella wasn't sure if he was referring to the guilt of the blood lust, so she chose an answer that could suit both. "It fades after a while," she said, very quietly this time. Even though she had been a vampire for longer than Isaac, she still felt out of control when she needed blood.

Isaac bit his lip, not being used to his strength, sliced right into his lip. He released his lower lip, pretty freaked out. a strange tingling sensation rose to his wounds that didn't bleed. They mended themselves. Isaac gave a faint sigh. "I hope you're right." he said.

Gabriella said nothing, there was nothing she really could say to that. She secretly agreed, and hoped that things would turn out alright. They weren't looking too good at the present. Muggles, witches, and wizards being killed. She and Isaac becoming vampires.

"Well look what we've stumbled upon," growled a voice from the ground. "Ickle Hogwarts students!" proclaimed another voice. "Don't you know you're not supposed to be here?" Isaac looked down and saw them. Cloaked in black with their masks like skulls. "Hey! You're Malfoy's boy!" said another, wagging his finger at them. "I don't affiliate myself with that grimy excuse for a human being." Isaac growled, jumping off the branch. He landed lightly on his feet, like a cat.

Less than a second later, Gabriella had landed on the ground beside him. Her stomach churned at the sight of the Death Eaters, and she had a strong desire to kill them all, punishing them for everything they had done. "You can leave or we'll make you leave," she said icily.

They laughed, more like guffawed. They were unable to see Isaac and Gabriella for what they really were. They were designed to kill. Isaac already felt his anger bubbling within him, he tightened his hands into fists, every tendon could be seen through the unnaturally pale skin. One of them cast a spell carelessly, it missed, but it might have hit Gabriella. He snapped. I the course of three seconds, Isaac had pinned the one that had cast the spell to the ground. Several cracking noises had come from the body beneath him, the figure was screaming. Isaac had lost all control, his burgundy eyes flashed dangerously.

Gabriella ran to push Isaac off of the Death Eater. She didn't want another killing on his conscious. Instantly, several spells came flying at her, cutting her off from Isaac. Her black eyes flashed and she headed for the other Death Eaters, dodging their spells.

That was it, Isaac was unable to control himself. Those few spells made him snap completely. His eyes flashed midnight black. He grabbed a Death Eater by the head and broke his neck with a crunching noise. The figure crumpled to th ground. "He's insane!" proclaimed one of the standing Death Eaters. Isaac ignored the comment, then lunged for him too.
