Divination (6th and 7th years)

Isaac widened his smile to match Gabriella's. He gently squeezed her hand too, a bit harder than she had done to his, but gentle all the same. He wasn't entirely used to his own brute strength yet. "Meet you around nine in the group commons?" Isaac suggested.

Gabriella nodded. "Sounds excellent to me," she replied with another hand squeeze. Perhaps they could spend the night together. It would keep Gabriella from running around and feeling useless all night, which is what would happen half of the time.

At that moment, sitting in the Divination room, staring into Gabriella's eyes, not noticing or caring about anything in the world except her. Isaac could stay this way forever. He had been through life without her once, that had been enough. There wasn't anybody else Isaac wanted to be with more.

Gabriella's thoughts flashed to Alec. He had said he loved her, but she was positive that he never really had. He had treated her like dirt, going off and making out with Scarlet. Gabriella's eyes narrowed before she focused back in on Isaac. It was good to have him back.

Isaac emitted a peaceful sigh. He was barely breathing, he didn't need to. It was the strangest thing, whenever he didn't tell himself to breathe, he wouldn't. The voluntary action had just disappeared. Life was strange now, but at least he had someone to talk to about it.
