The Feast

Fiona sat alone. Listing to the chit chat of the other students. She couldn't wait for class's to begin. She wondered what she would learn this year.

Ryan snapped out of it when Jasmine ran past. He tore his hand from Scarlet's and sprinted from the Great Hall.The corridor was empty but he could hear Jasmine's ragged breathing. "Jasmine?" He called gently, looking around.

Jasmine looked up and saw Ryan. She began bawling again, and she laid her head in her hands.

Ryan knelt down beside her. "Jasmine?" He asked quietly. "Are you OK?" He asked in a whisper. He tried to watch her face but it was blocked.

Jasmine sobbed and moved away. "Do you think I'm okay?!" she cried, looking Ryan in the eye.

Ryan backed away slightly. "I don't know what happened...she just did some voodoo on me!" He explained. He bit his lip guiltily. "I'm so sorry" He whispered.

Jasmine looked up, eyes watering, and attempted to frown, but it didn't last long. She leapt up and hugged him.

Scarlet growled. How could he have broken free? She sighed and opened her book, letting her Veela energy swirl around the Hall.

Ryan hugged her back gratefully. He stood up, helping Jasmine up. "Do you want to go back in?" He asked softly.

Gabriella watched the scene with a fascinating interest. She watched as Angel and Ryan went after Jasmine and decided that they would be of enough help to her, she needed to watch the part-veela. Gabriella's eyes narrowed as she began to stare down the girl, focusing on the radiating waves of magic coming from Scarlet.

Finishing her small salad, Scarlet closed her book. She stood up and allowed her Veela charm to spread through the whole Hall one last time. There was a cute Gryffindor...she made sure that he got a blast of Veela as she strutted down the aisle and out the door. Scarlet rolled her eyes at Ryan and Jasmine and made her way out of the castle.

Jasmine smiled. Kissing Ryan, she sighed throughly.

Ryan took Jasmine's hand and led her back into the Hall. He could feel several curious eyes on him and Jasmine. He kissed her cheek lightly and sat at his table, right across from Jasmine at the Ravenclaw table.

Jasmine smiled and dreamily gazed into Ryan's eyes. She had hoped that no one had noticed Ryan, but that blonde had.

Ryan didn't touch his food. He was watching Jasmine. He rested his elbows on the table, listening to his friends make their start of year bets and dares.
