Scarlet stepped into the dance, fashionably late. She knew from experience that coming in late with her veela charm on, she had every boys attention. She walked in slowly, her long scarlet dress robes swishing as she approached the snack table. Feeling the farmiliar boys eyes on her back as she took a cookie was a wonderful feeling. She turned around casually and watched the couples dance, looking for a cute boy to focus in on tonight.

Angel craned her neck. She was looking for Wolfgang. As usual, he was late. In her excitment, Angel had taken three hours to get ready, and arrived at the dance half an hour early. Her newly red hair was loosely curled, very sleek and down. She wore makeup that looked so natrual, you couldn't tell she was wearing any, spare the red lipstick. "Oh, where is he?" Angel groaned, standing on tiptoe, for even in high heels she couldn't see over the crowds.

Wolfgang ran in, he was late, and he knew it. He had fallen asleep on his homework (Yes, the 7th years got some already), and woken up to find out that the dance had started five minutes ago. He had thrown on the simple black dress robes that he had worn last year, there were a little too short, but he didn't have the money to buy new ones yet. Wolfgang quickly found Angel, and walked briskly to her. He slipped an arm around her waist. "Sorry I'm late, Angie. You look amazing." He said breathlessly.

Ryan had been standing there at the dance alone, afraid to even approach Scarlet let alone look at her. After the experience at the feast he knew there was something creepy about her. He was standing on the sides, not knowing why he was even here.

Jasmine walzted in, wearing the most gorgeous and elegant robes in the room, except maybe Angel. Even Scarlet looked poor compared to her. She looked around lazily, hoping to catch Ryan there.

Ryan's face lit up when he saw Jasmine. He didn't know wheather or not she had forgiven him. He lingered back, trying to get her eye.

Jasmine found Ryan and she hesitated. Then she smiled and walked up to him, throwing her arms around him and burying her face in his brown hair.

Scarlet scowled at Jasmine. If she wanted Ryan, she would get him. She never lost. She finished her pumpkin juice and focused all of her Veela charm on Ryan. She slowly approached him. "Hey Ryan..." She purred.

Jasmine fumed. "Hey Scarlet, back off!" she snarled, glaring at her and blocking Ryan.

"Excuse me, but I belieave Ryan has a say in this" She laughed and faced Ryan, luring him in. "Would you like to dance?" She asked, batting her eyelashes.

Ryan inhaled deeply. He felt that attraction that drove Jasmine from his head. He grabbed Jasmine's hand. "No thanks Scarlet, I was just about to dance with my girlfriend" He led Jasmine onto the dance floor and laid his hands on her waist.

Gabriella came into the room, wearing stunning gold robes that were the exact color of her eyes if she was not disguising them. Her sharp eyes scanned the room for Alec, but he was nowhere to be seen. Gabriella supposed that he had not arrived yet and sat down at a small table to wait for him.

Alec wandered into the dance, his eyes immediately falling upon a fuming blond in the middle of the room. She was majorly hot in his eyes, and he could barely break himself away from her looks to find Gabriella, sitting at a table, mindlessly looking around. Alec decided that he would find the blond later, when Gabriella wasn't around. "Hey babe," he said, coming up to his girlfriend.

Jasmine smirked. "Thanks." she smiled.

Gabriella grinned at her boyfriend, Alec, as he came up to her. She immediately stood, her long robes swishing gently around her slim frame. "Hey," she replied, her smile softening as she lightly took his hand. "Care to dance?" she asked, gesturing towards the dance floor with her free hand.
