Apart ~Ryan/Scarlet~

Jasmine sat at the edge of the Black Lake, her mind apart from her body. She was just there, gazing, crying, and she didn't know why. Someone approached her for a moment, and she saw there reflection, she didn't know how she felt.

Scarlet had needed to talk to Jasmine. She had followed Jasmine out here. "Hello" She sneered, standing next to her, watching the water.

Jasmine rolled her eyes. "What do you want witch?" she hissed, staring at Scarlet's reflection.

Scarlet smirked. "Funny you ask that question like that. And allow me to point out every female in this castle is a witch." She laughed merrily and sat next to Jasmine. "Well...I can tell your dieing to know what Ryan sees in a 'skimpy blonde slut' over someone like you." She stretched out on the grass. "Well I want Ryan, as you can plainly see and your in my way. So I came out here to tell you that it's best to stay outta my way." Scarlet stood up and walked away.

Jasmine stood up and followed her. "And it would be best not to threaten me Veela." she replied calmly.

"And it would be best not to tick off a Veela" She matched Jasmine's tone. She flipped her blonde hair into Jasmine's face and walked off, waiting for her to follow her again.

Jasmine refrained from getting out her wand and cursing the little bitch, but she turned and huffed, her red hair glinting in the autumn sun.

Ryan had been swimming in the Black Lake. It was another dare from his idiotic friends. He had to dive in every day for twenty minutes for a whole month. He hauled himself out of the water and shook his hair. When he straightened up he immeadietly recognized Jasmine's hair. "Jasmine!" He called, still shaking his hair and drying off his bare chest with his shirt.

Jasmine looked and saw Ryan. Her cares and worries vanished, and she sprinted over to greet him.

Ryan wrapped his arms around Jasmine, not caring he was still wet. He kissed her head. "Hey babe" He whispered. He could see something was distracting Jasmine. "WHat's wrong?" He asked, sitting down and pulling Jasmine onto his lap.

"That stupid Veela." Jasmine spat, the word tasting rancid on her tongue.

Ryan's eyebrows furrowed. "Scarlet?" He asked. "She's a Veela?" He asked in disbelief. He sighed and smiled. "Well you'll be pleased to know even when she put me under her spell, the voice in my head kept screaming your name." He grinned and kissed her forehead. "Your the only one for me" He assured her, wrapping his arms around her waist.

"Aww!" Jasmine mocked, cuddling into his chest. "How's the water?" she asked.

"It's been better and worse" He shrugged. He kissed her forehead. "Are you going into the tournament?" He asked cassually.

Jasmine shrugged. "I dunno. Probably just going to stay and do some betting." she replied casually.
