Before Indago could stop hersself, she found herself hugging Liliana. "I've never said this, but you and Minnie are the only family I have." Indago projected.

Jasmine realized she should not but in so she looked up. A sickly owl was on the rafters. It could not fly. Jasmine tried to think about a way to get him down. Jasmine decided to climb up. Jasmine ran to the wall and began climbing.

Liliana laughed and hugged her friend. It seemed she was making a lot of unexpected friends at this school.

"Umm, I have to leave, I promised I'd meet Evan..." Indago said, a sort of airy tone to her voice. She began the long desent down the stairs to the Entrance Hall.

Jasmine sat on the rafter next to the owl. It was a tan screech owl. She stroked its feathers comfortingly. "Liliana" called Jasmine. "Help me get this owl down... he is sick." She explained.

[elderwand]

Azul walked in, a sealed letter in her hands. Instantly, Nutmeg fluttered down and landed on her shoulder. "Hello Nutmeg." Azul said, gently stroking her feathers. "Up for a dilivery?" Azul asked. Her owl hooted softly, and nipped her ear affectionately. Azul tied the letter to Nutmeg's leg, and she spread her wings and flew out the window. Azul watched her until she was out of sight, when she turned around she finally noticed the girls she didn't know, one was up in the rafteers. "What cha doing up there?" Azul asked.

"The owl is sick so I need to get it down. What are you doing down there?" She asked teasingly. "Can you help me get it down?" She asked more seriously.

[elderwand]

"Sure." Azul said, smiling. She then climbed up the to the rafter. The owl looked at her with his big yellow eyes, his feathers were kind of drooping. "The poor thing." Azul said, gently letting the owl climb onto her lap.

"How do you think we should get down, I dont have a plan." She laughed.

[elderwand]

"I have an idea." Azul said. She placed the owl between her robes and blouse and held him there with one hand, then began climbing down with the other.

"Smart" she said and followed her down. They reached the ground. "Several owls have this disease, It can be deadly. I will take her to work." She explsined as she took the owl.

[elderwand]

"You should, you're the expert." Azul said with a wink, then began to head for the owlery door.

"Well," she said, pretending to be ofended. She followed Azul.

[elderwand]

Azul then went through that all-too-familiar sensation where her surroundings disappeared.

"Smithson, you are a complete dumbass."
"Yes, Redlum, I know."
"I turn my back on your for two seconds and they all escape!"
"I didn't mean to!"
"Of course you didn't MEAN to, but that doesn't mean I'm still not angry."
"Yes, I know."
"I hope you know that June won't be very happy with you."
"Yes."
"Perhaps I should tell her what you did, dumbass."
"No! Please!"
"Smithson, you leave me with no choice!"
"You have a choice."
"I do not."
"Just kill me now, get it over with, I've had nothing to live for, now it's all gonna be over."
"But why deny June the pleasure, Smithson?"
"No, just do it. Just like you did away with Coran."
"No, I will allow June to."
"No, please, I'm begging you!"
"Shut up Smithson."
"Make me."
"Make you, ah, you're trying to trick me. It's not going to work, Smithson."
"Fine, I'll do it myself."
"Smithson! No!"
Smithson pulled a knife from his pocket and winked at Redlum, then shoved the knife through his throat. He crumpled dead seconds later.

Azul then found herself standing in the corridor, swaying dangerously. She then fell straight backwards onto the stone floor.

Jasmine caught her. She set the owl down on the floor. She steadyed Azul and read her thoughts. "Who escaped?" Asked Jasmine curiouslly as she took the owl.
