Minnie sat, huddled up on the shore of the lake, once again. She wished this was just a game. A game that she could forfit at any moment, and then everything would be over with. The pain and suffering would be gone. But she knew that it wasn't. And, no matter how much she tried to convince herself that one day, the happiness and everything that used to be would return, she knew it wouldn't. But she had to hold her ground nad keep on fighting. Even if everyone else expected less of her.

Further down the shore sat Jasmine. A bird had swooped down and was on her shoulder rubbing its head on hers comfortingly.

Minnie looked at the Slytherin girl a little ways from her. She didn't know who she was, but she didn't really have an interest in meeting anyone right now. Besides, she was a Slytherin.

Anyone looking at her could not tell what the heck she was doing. She was talking to the bird and all of a sudden, (Jasmines telepathy gets out of control sometimes), she heard the ravenclaws thoughts about her. The bird saw the sorrow on Jasmines face and asked what was wrong. "That girl hates me and she dosn't even know me!!!" whispered Jasmine. Well, if that was the case why stick around. The bird had other ideas "Go tell her how you feel" said the bird. "If it gets you to shut up" muttered Jasmine. "It will" explained the bird with silent laughter. Jasmine approached The Ravenclaw with the bird on her shoulder

Minnie looked towards Jasmine walking towards her. Why was she coming over here? Wasn't she nice and content over on her part of the shore? Minnie shrugged it off and ignored the Slytherin. If she wanted to insult her, let her. Minnie wouldn't care.

Again Jasmine heard her thoughts. "I wont insult you," explained Jasmine. "Yoi judge me, i dont judge you" was all she said. "The only reason am talking to someone who hates me, is because my friend would not shut up until i do and he can get annoying" said Jasmine as she pointed at the bird. "Dont judge, dont judge you." Jasmine, not into talking turned around to walk away as Minnie stopped her. Jasmine turned around.

"Sorry," Minnie apologized. She partially didn't believe what she was hearing. A Slytherin? Being nice? It didn't seem possible! "It's just.... Ya know.... Slytherins...."

"SO WHAT, I WAS ABANDONED CUZ MY MOM DIED OF BIRTHING ME SO MY DAD KEPT LITTLE MISS PERFECT TAMMY AND GOT RID OF ME. I HATE IT. HE DIED SOON AFTER AND TAMMY TOOK ME IN. NOW THAT I AM AT SCHOOL SHE DOSN'T PAY ALOT OF ATTENTION. MY ONLY FRIENDS ARE ANIMALS. I AM ONLY A SLYTERIN CUZ I AM A PUREBLOOD AND I DONT KNOW WHY. HOW COME PEOPLE JUDGE???!!! IT IS NOT FAIR" Screamed Jasmine. Every one was on her case. First some Emo girl in the owlery and now this predjudice. "I HATE THAT YOU JUDGE." Sobbed Jasmine loudly. Feeling she could tell this girl everything she couldn't stop herself. "NOW I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO WHEN NO ONE GIVES A DANG THOUGHT ABOUT ME. I NEVER FELT LIKE THIS BEFORE BUT ALL I THINK ABOUT IS SOME BOY NAMED CAL..." Quickly Jasmine stopped and realized she just admitted her secret to some predjudice freak. The bird was confused and glared at Minnie as if it were her fault. "WHAT IS WRONG WITH NOT ACTING SUPERIOR BECAUSE I AM PUREBLOOD??!!!" Asked Jasmine. She hoped the girl did not notice the boy part of her melt down.

"I'm sorry," Minnie muttered. And she meant it. She hadn't meant to judge this girl, but when every other Slytherin she knew was just a cruel jerk, was she supposed to assume that there might be someone nice? Minnie hadn't thought of that happening before. Maybe she should just leave....

Jasmine spun around and ran away with the bird still on her shoulder. No one understood her. Everyone judged her. The whole world hated her. It was not fair they pick on her.

"I'm sorry," Minnie muttered again, even though she knew Jasmine couldn't hear her. Yeah, Jasmine had it tough, but so did everyone else. From Minnie's knowledge, her case wasn't anything special or more horrid than anyone else's. She wished that Jasmine would know that she truly was sorry. For judging her, and for everything else.

Not to far away Jasmine stopped filled with guilt. She made that girl feel bad and did not mean to yell, scream, and cry. She had heard the girls thoughts. Jasmine turned around and walked back to the girl.

Minnie stared into the depths of the lake, dipped her forefinger in and twirled it around. She didn't notice Jasmine coming towards her from behind her.

"Sorry and I forgive you" said Jasmine. "I am Jasmine Renthlow and you are Minnie Weasley." said Jasmine with a grin. Minnie spun around in awe that the girl knew her name and was actually smiling.

"It's okay...." Minnie responded. Jasmine must be a Telepathic. She usually knew when someone was - seeing as her cousin was one.
