Solstice stepped into the luxury robe shop, and looked around to see if the seamstress was up front. Not finding anyone, she decided she would browse the sample sizes herself, and then be fitted once an employee popped out. She was needing some new robes for work, ones that had more fitted sleeves as the deep bell kind of sleeve she usually favoured tended to get in the way. Solstice's eyes, today a stormy-looking grey because of her emerald green robes, flicked between the samples, trying to find something that looked nice.
She eventually selected a more fitted style of robe, but it was the colour she was most drawn to- a rich and dark purple. Just as Solstice pulled the style from the rack a seamstress approached her. "Ready to be fitted?" she asked, to which Solstice only nodded. She was then led to a pedastel in front of a mirror, but before the seamstress could work her magic, the bell over the door rang. Mildly curious, Solstice turned her head to look at...

Still looking at the sign above the shop door, Equinox entered the robes store. She knew that she would need a few new pairs of robes if she was going to be working soon. Equinox doubted her employer would like muggle clothes too well. Plus, some of her older robes were getting a bit frayed around the edges. In short, Equinox needed a few pairs of robes.
Her blue-green eyes flitted around the shop, finally resting on the face of her sister, who was being fitted in front of a mirror. A smile spread across Equinox's face at the sight of Solstice. "Hello sister," she said, stepping out of the doorway and toward her twin sister.

"Salutations, my sister," said Solstice, returning her twin's greeting while a small smile played at her lips. Her choice of language was definitely what other seventeen-year-olds would call odd, much too formal for day-to-day conversations, but as of yet her coworkers seemed to mind. Solstice was settling quite well into the Ministry, other than the problems with having loose sleeves. She briefly trained her attention on the seamstress, who was pinning the hem at the appropriate length. "Might there be a way for them to be more fitted?" Solstice asked. The seamstress nodded, and then began explaining what could be done, and after she had finished, the youth looked back to her sister. "I dare say your superiors would rather you didn't wear muggle clothing," Solstice observed, smiling.

Equinox chuckled a bit at Solstice's comment; her sister always seemed to be able to read her well. "Yes, I do not think Mrs. Storm is really into jeans," Equinox commented. The editor-in-chief, with whom Equinox had been interviewed, dressed her part in stunning robes. She was part of the reason that Equinox had decided that she ought to get some new ones. Having only a few simple black pairs was not going to cut it at the Daily Prophet.

Solstice chuckled quietly, she could only imagine what her sister would look like in her usual attire when put up against the Editor-in-Chief of the Daily Prophet. If her assumptions were true, Mrs. Storm probably dressed very nicely, not only was she in a high position, her husband was the Minister of Magic. She wondered vaguely what their lives were like, being the faces of the British wizard population... Solstice did not say anything, but held perfectly still as the seamstress adjusted her sleeves, watching her sister through the reflection in the mirror she stood in front of.

Equinox smiled slightly at the thought of Mrs. Storm wearing jeans. It was rather comical to think about, but she supposed the woman couldn't dress up all the time. On second thought, Equinox decided that maybe she could. Somehow, she didn't think that Mrs. Storm ever looked casual. Equinox began to browse through the various robes in the room, looking over at her sister every so often. She wasn't quite sure what she wanted, but Equinox figured when she saw a good pair of robes, she would know.

Solstice remained quiet as the seamstress situated the robes so they fit perfectly, and then took the garment to go and work her magic. She stepped down from her spot in front of the mirror and joined her sister near the racks, she was going to need more than one set to form a work wardrobe- she would need at least five, preferably more. "You should try those," Solstice suggested quietly to her twin, gesturing to a pair of light blue robes between the two of them. She herself liked the colour, and while Equinox may not, Solstice knew it would be flattering to their specific skin tones.

Equinox turned to look at the robes her twin sister was referring to. She didn't particularly love the color, but thought it would look good with her eyes, at least. And besides, Equinox didn't hate the color either. "Good idea," Equinox commented, examining the sets of robes until she found her size. "Any others?" Equinox asked, figuring she should ask for her sister's opinion.

Solstice glanced around the shop, thinking a bit to herself as her eyes found varying styles and colours. She gestured to a set of yellow ones on a posing mannequin. "I like the syle of those ones, I'm not particularly fond of the yellow, though," Solstice commented. She would probably pick out a pair in the same style if they had them in another colour.

Equinox nodded in agreement. She stepped toward the mannequin, looking for the rack of robes that she knew would be nearby. "No, I don't think I'm really a yellow-robes type of person," Equinox commented. At last she located the same robes and found them in two other colors: bright orange and a deep green. Equinox picked out a set of the deep green ones and held them up for her sister to see.

"Those are lovely," said Solstice when her twin showed her the same style in a deep green. They looked like something she would have picked out for herself. But Solstice wouldn't copy her sister, they already were identical to the last freckle, they didn't need to wear the saame clothes, too. Solstice came across a set on the racks that was exactly what she was looking for, they were a rich violet-red and the sleeves were tight to the arm, coming down to a point at the top of the hands.

Equinox nodded her agreement before continuing her search. She knew that she would need several more pairs of robes if she was to look presentable every day for work. It was odd to think that she would be spending a lot of time in an office now, but Equinox was pretty sure there would be plenty of times that she would be out and about to take photos. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Solstice pick out a pair of dark red robes. "I like those," Equinox commented, just loud enough for her sister to hear her, but not so that the seamstress would be disturbed.

Solstice nodded, a smile smile caressing her full lips. Not a very talkative soul, she didn't end to speak unless it was absolutely necessary. She knew that this would further add to the air of mystery that seemed to float around her, but she didn't mind. Solstice rather enjoyed being the person that nobody seemed to know about. It gave her the freedom to come and go from places without being noticed. She liked to be able to slip in and out of wherever she pleased.

Equinox turned away from her sister once more and found herself right in front of a set of loosely fitting lavender robes. Usually Equinox went for slightly more fitted sets of robes, but she found that she liked the look of this set. She picked out her size again and then decided it would be a good idea to actually get fitted for the robes she had picked out. Equinox headed over to the seamstress. The woman looked up at her. "Ready?" she asked simply, to which Equinox nodded. She stepped up onto the platform and allowed the woman to begin pinning the robes.

Solstice continued to search the racks for something that might be what she was looking for. She smiled a bit when she found a pair in the same style as her violet-red ones, only in a deep sapphire blue. Solstice did not mind having a few of the same style, as long as they were in different colours. She took the occasional glance over her shoulder at her sister, to watch as the seamtress went about adjusting varying things. Solstice continued to flip through the racks, three pairs of robes weren't going to be enough, she made it her goal to find at least two more before leaving.
