Solstice quietly paid for her robes, and then waited a moment for the seamstress to work her magic. Once presented with her shopping bags, she nodded and smiled her tanks to the seamstress before turning back to her sister. "Shall we go home, then?" Solstice asked of her twin. She was not opposed to being out longer, but she could not think of anything that she needed to do while still in Diagon Alley.

Equinox considered this for a moment, then shook her head. "I need to purchase a few new quills first," she said to her sister. She had not anticipated needing to take so many notes about her pictures, and as such Equinox's quills were starting to wear out a bit. She thought it would be good if she purchased some new ones before she was out entirely.

Solstice nodded. She had not needed to replace her quills in a long while, ever since she switched to the metal-tipped ones. They were unusual for wizard standards, but so much more durable. "I'll go with you," said Solstice, she wasn't opposed to the idea of going into a quill shop, besides, it wasn't like she had urgent business to take care of- it was only a Saturday.

"Alright," Equinox replied, giving her sister a warm smile. She led the way out of the robes store, shopping bags in hand. Equinox entered Flourish and Blotts and began searching for quills that she might want to use for work. She wasn't looking for anything in particular, but she did think she would like something a bit more durable.

Solstice browsed alongside her sister, aware of the fact that a copuple of people were sending curious glances in their direction. She did suppose that it was odd for even identical twins to look as alike as they did, but sometimes Solstice found it amusing how people stared. It was like they had never seen a set of twins before. "Perhaps you should try some of those," said Solstice, gesturing to a display of metal-tipped quills, "they work well for me."

Equinox nodded at Solstice's suggestion. She supposed the metal-tipped quills had to be more durable than the usual variety, but Equinox was unsure of whether she would like them or not. She figured she might as well try them out, though. She could always come back and get different ones if she really needed to. "Alright, sounds good," Equinox said, taking a small package of metal-tipped quills. "I think that's it then."

Solstice nodded, although now she had gotten into the shop she was suddenly distracted by the books behind the display of quills. She had always loved to read, she wondered if she might find something that she hadn't seen before on those shelves, although she doubted it. "You don't mind if I browse a while longer, do you?" asked Solstice. She did not want to inconvenience her twin.

"No, of course not," Equinox replied with a smile. Solstice's love for reading was famous around the house. Rarely did Equinox come across her sister without a book in hand. While she too loved reading, it wasn't to quite the same extent that Solstice loved to read. With a small nod to her sister, Equinox took the metal-tipped quills up to the counter to pay, watching out of the corner of her eye and Solstice headed for the books.

Solstice nodded, smiling a bit. If there was anything she could shop for he whole day it would have to be books. She had already read most of the volumes contained in their family's library, although it would be foolish to think she had read them all. Solstice would on occasion come across one of the old, leather-bound books with dusty pages written entirely in runes- those kept her entertained for days. She browsed the titles on the shelf, looking for something that would stand out to her.

Equinox set the metal-tipped quills on the counter and then pulled the appropriate amount out of her purse to pay. She thanked the cashier quietly and then headed over to where her sister was standing. "Anything good?" she asked Solstice, who was still looking through the books. Equinox didn't often shop for books, preferring to just pick some out of the family library. But she did think it was rather interesting how many books Flourish and Blotts had.

Solstice shook her head, not looking away from the shelves. She continued to glance from title to title, in hopes to find something foreign or otherwise unique to read in her spare time. Oftentimes when she would get to work and they wouldn't have anything for her to do, but requested that she stick around anyways, and for those occasions she liked to have books. "Not yet," Solstice added to her gesture, and then rounded the corner to examine more shelves.

Equinox followed her sister around the corner, beginning to scan the shelves for books as well. She wasn't looking for anything in particular, but Equinox supposed she could always use a good book to read. Between big stories at the Prophet, she often found herself with little to do. At least she was usually allowed to go home at times like those. She was just perpetually on call, in case a big story came up she had to take photos for.

Solstice paused, she had been about to switch over to scanning another shelf when one particular book caught her eye. It was definitely a magical book, as it seemed to have a sort of translucent quality to it, as if it were a ghost. She reached up to the top shelf and pulled it out, looking at the cover. In a thin, elegant script it read The Ivisible Book of Invisibility. Solstice smiled, knowing that she was going to buy the book, even if it might decide to become completely invisible before she had a chance to read it.

Equinox barely refrained from running into her sister as Solstice stopped and picked out a book. Equinox glanced at it, smiling as she read the title on the ghostly-looking book. "That should be an interesting read," Equinox commented to her sister, gesturing toward the book Solstice held in her hands. It was just like Solstice to pick out a book like The Invisible Book of Invisibility, Equinox hadn't expected anything less.

"The trick is remembering exactly where I put it down, apparently they randomly fade in and out of visibility," said Solstice with a smile. She figured that that one book would be enough, besides, it was bound to be expensive. They weren't rare, they were just hard to find on the shelves of places due to their tendency to vanish. Solstice walked up to the front counter to pay, where the clerk expressed his astonishment that she had managed to find a copy.
