James nodded, and then allowed a silence to settle over them for a moment. He was completely wet now, but the steady rain didn't phase him, he was used to being outdoors when it was pouring. At least the rain was still gentle, although it had passed being a drizzle a long time ago. "So what's new with you?" James asked after a little while. They had never really talked much about their families, it wasn't a favourite topic of his. But he was confident that Bellatrix would have something to talk about.

Bella shrugged, not knowing what she was supposed to say at this point. "Um, my brother recently got rescued," she said, her sentence sounding more like a question than a statement. She wasn't entirely sure if James was aware of Isaac's capture, but she figured he might be if he followed professional quidditch. Bella was still a bit spooked that Isabelle had put Isaac in the Malfoy Manor. Even Bella hadn't expected that. Of course, she hadn't been directly told where Isaac was being kept.

"What happened?" asked James, a bit confused. He hadn't heard Bellatrix mention anything of that nature before. Granted, he was a bit behind the times as he had a deep mistrust of the media and parts of the Ministry, but he felt like he should at least know something like that. James waited patiently for a reply.

Bella was a bit surprised to find that James knew nothing of the incident where Isaac had gotten captured. "He was captured by Death Eaters in late February," Bella said solemnly, feeling somewhat responsible for her brother's suffering, though she hadn't had anything to do with it. "Apparently Gabriella rescued him recently." Bella hoped that news like that was in the media somewhere or that James would buy the lie that she had contact with her older brother. Bella could hardly tell him that she found out news like this through the Death Eaters themselves.

"That's awful," said James, frowning, "at least he's back now." He wasn't sure what else to say, Bella didn't seem too distraught, but he didn't want to upset her with any questions. James was just grateful that none of his siblings had been captured for such a long amount of time, he might not be able to handle it. While generally distant, James did care for his siblings a great deal.
