Fiona couldn't help her devilish grin, today while the exams were going on she was going to turn the whole of the Entrance Hall into a swamp. Complete with wildlife, mud, and water deep enough to require a boat to get across. But this huge task wasn't going to be completed alone. Much to her surprise, Fiona had talked Kaia Zabini, a friend of hers, into helping her out with the massive prank. Fiona did ponder the wisdom of doing this now, it would be hard to top, but it was too perfect to pass up now.

She continued to grin to herself when she imagined what her father's reaction would be. It seemed like the kind of thing that he might have done while he was in school. Fiona examined her watch, growing impatient waiting for Kaia, but this wasn't something she could do single-handedly.

Kaia still wasn't entirely sure how she had gotten pulled into helping Fiona Weasley pull off a massive prank during exams, but she certainly wasn't going to back out on her friend now. Kaia entered the Entrance Hall where her friend was and smiled nervously at Fiona. "Ready?" she asked, still in disbelief that they were going to attempt to pull off such a prank.

"More than, my friend," said Fiona, grinning widely. She pulled out four of something that looked like party-poppers. They were a couple of her father's portable swaps, but they were the new version. Last summer they had worked on getting them resistent to vanishing spells, hopefully they would stick around a while. "We're going to need to get somewhere a little higher," Fiona commented, looking up toward the stairs. It wouldn't serve them much good to get caught in the middle of their swamp.

Kaia nodded in agreement; it certainly wouldn't do them any good to get stuck in the middle of the swamp they were about to create. Kaia figured she only knew about half of Fiona's plans, so she had no problem letting the other girl take the lead on this one. Kaia didn't have much experience when it came to pranks.

Fiona lead the way up the stairs, frowning a bit to herself. "D'you think you can summon our brooms?" Fiona asked quietly so they would not be heard where the exams were being taken, "I'm awful at summoning charms." This was going to be great, her father would probably be thrilled when he heard about it, although her mother would likely be completely furious.

Kaia shrugged, then nodded. "Sure," she replied, seeing how this was a good idea, though she probably wouldn't have thought of using broomsticks until Fiona suggested it. Kaia whipped out her wand, scanned the staircase to make sure no one was around, and then non-verbally summoned both of their broomsticks. A few moments later, her broom flew into her outstretched hand.

Fiona grabbed her broom as it zoomed to her hand, swaying slightly with the force at which it had came. Once she regained her balance she smiled at Kaia, her way of complimenting the spellwork. Fiona mounted her broom and hovered so her toes were only inches from the ground. She tossed Kaia two of the portable swamps. "Work from the centre out," Fiona whispered, "all you have to do is aim and pull the string."

Kaia nodded firmly to Fiona and held the portable swamps tight in her hand. She then mounted her broom with ease and rose off the staircase. Kaia flew as quietly as possible until she was at the center of the Entrance Hall. She backed up slightly, aimed the party-popper looking device and pulled the string, closing her eyes as she did so.

Fiona smiled as she watched Kaia release the first quarter of their swamp, she still had a hard time believing that she had talked the Hufflepuff into helping her. But it really was all in good fun, they weren't hurting anyone, just... inconveniencing them. Fiona went slightly to Kaia's left where she released another swamp, being careful to not leave any gaps between the two. "Half-way there," Fiona whispered to herself, flying into position near the house point hourglasses.
