Though she had hunted yesterday and had downed a bag of blood before coming to St. Mungo's that morning, Gabriella still felt unusually thirsty. She supposed it was something to do with her pregnancy, so she would ask Raychel during her little check-up. If Gabriella hadn't been a vampire, she wouldn't have bothered Raychel with something like a pregnancy, but she knew it was risky to go to another Healer for her check-ups. There was still far too much prejudice in the wizarding world surrounding vampires.

Gabriella seated herself in the waiting room, holding her hands nervously. She hated the smell of blood that was wafting through the hospital at the moment. It was far more tempting than it should have been. Gabriella stopped her breathing momentarily, hoping Raychel would show up soon and spare her from the waiting room crowd. Perhaps Raychel would also be able to get her a bit more blood. Gabriella held her breath, waiting impatiently.

The moment Raychel got wind of Gabby, she hurried to her side. "Come on, follow me," she replied, smiling down on her pregnant friend. A pang of jealousy shot through her, but she shoved it away. All her friends were living her dream, becoming mothers, starting families. It hurt, especially now that a vampire was pregnant, which was slim. Raychel led Gabby to a back room, away from everyone, knowing Gabby would be thirsty. She'd been researching vampire pregnancies, and their symptoms. Raychel quickly shut, and locked, the door, then rushed to the blood case.

Gabriella smiled as her friend finally showed up and led her to a back room. Gabriella was about to take a seat when she noticed Raychel opening up the blood case. Figuring Raychel had researched vampire pregnancies, Gabriella couldn't help but smile. She was rather thirsty at the moment. "Thanks," Gabriella said to her friend.

Raychel nodded. "Of course," she replied. She threw a few more packets next to Gabby, then sat across from her. She waited patiently for Gabby to finish with one bag before she started the process of explaining the symptoms. There'd be a lot of difficulty, especially for Gabby, who was well into her mature vampire stage. "So, are you aware of some of the... side effects?" she inquired after Gabby had downed the first bag. It wasn't exactly an easy thing to say, there were going to be a lot of changes for Gabby.
