Sulu sat under the tree near the lake on that fresh may day. It was bright and plenty of other students were outside. Sulu usually was not among the students who went to the out doors on a good day like this. Normally Sulu would be inside studying for what ever class he had next but not today. Today Sulu was taking a break and doing absolutely nothing.

Only one class troubled Sulu at this point and there was nothing he could do about it. Almost the end of the year and Sulu still was failing DADA. He still couldn't conjure a patronus and was lucky to get a wisp of silver light, with all other spells Sulu had a habit of blowing something up. Just proved that Sulu was not meant for the subject. That was why Sulu was not overly worried by the fact that he would barely pass the class if he was lucky.

None of that mattered at the moment though. All Sulu cared about was relaxing for just one day without a care in the world.With his legs sprawled out in front of him, Sulu leaned up against the tree with his eyes closed.

Nix chuckled to herself as she walked down and away from the school, she had an O on her transfiguration NEWT paper and the same on her DADA too. She was most happy with life. She loved how she could do anything she pleased in life but still get good grades in nearly all her classes too, potions was of course her exception as she tended to try and muck up on purpose to prove that her teacher wasn't as good as he tried to be.

Of course she'd gotten an E in her OWLs for the class and was most happy with that but now it was a sunny day and she had no homework to do. So she had pulled on her swimming costume and then her cloak over it and was heading down to the black lake, she could have gone to the prefects bathroom seeing as she was gryffindors qudditch captain but she liked the lake better. It was normally quiet and wild at the same time but today there was already someone sittig near it against a tree, nix shook her head and dismissed the person as she walked closer to them and the lake. She wanted to swim and swim she would

As a girl came walking down to the lake Sulu could not help but let out a sigh as he looked at her. So much for relaxing. It looked like she was going to go all the way to the edge of the lake which meant that others were sure to follow her. All his peaceful silence would be lost and it was all due to this girl.

Sulu could not understand why this girl felt a need to go down to the lake today. Sure it was a surprisingly warm, sunny day but that wouldn't change the fact that the lake would be freezing cold like always. Sulu could not image her actually going into the lake because of just how cold the water was likely to be. Though she could be one of those crazy people who did not mind the cold. Sulu doubted this though but still felt some what curious and so he watched her closely, wondering what it was she was going to do. It was not until it looked like she truly was going into the lake that Sulu could not hold his tongue any longer.

"Your not actually going to swim in the lake are you?" Sulu asked her sceptically. He felt somewhat shocked when he realized he had actually spoken out loud. Sulu hated bringing attention to himself and was usually much better had holding his tongue and staying silent. Instead he had actually spoken out loud to someone he didn't even know. Sulu almost felt proud of his bravery until he remembered that he had drawn unwanted attention onto himself.

Nix walked up to the edge of the lake and then slipped her cloak off and then looked down to her side where her wand was strapped to her and nodded her head and has been about to walk in to the water when she had heard a voice coming from behind her. She rolled her bright eyes and and turned away from the lakes waters and saw the person by the tree and raised an eyebrow, "yea, actually I am" she snapped. She was angry at having her swim interrupted and she had a thing against guys who spoke to her when she was in her swimming costume anyway, it made her feel like one of the slytherin tarts and she hated it.

She shook her head and then turned away from the boy before looked out over the lake and sighing to clam herself down before she took a step in to the water and shivered with a cold pleasure as the water brushed over her feet. She loved the feel of cold water against her skin because it reminded her of swimming in the forests as a child, here she got to swim when ever she wanted, provided it was out of lesson of course
