Eliza took a deep breath as the strong scent of flowers wafted through out the slightly damp air. It was a beautiful may day just after a brief sprinkling of rain that left the air feeling crisp and fresh. Eliza thought it was the perfect day for a stroll through the gardens. Flowers were blooming every where she looked, a large mixture of sweet scents and beautiful colors. This would be one of the last times Eliza was going to be able to see this garden in fact. It wouldn't be long until she graduated and then she'd never see Hogwarts again most likely. It was a little saddening to think like that, especially since Eliza had no clue what she would do after leaving. She had thought of applying for an internship but nothing truly interested her. Eliza was just happy living life and being young. Why did anyone have to grow up? Why couldn't she just stay young and be able to enjoy the scenery as it passed her by.
With a sigh, Eliza paused in her walking to carefully sit down on a bench. Tucking a stray piece of hair that had fallen loose from the bun, Eliza looked out into the garden as she thought. What was there for her outside of Hogwarts? She was fairly good at quiditch but didn't want to do that for the rest of her life. What other skills did she have? Eliza could think of none and frowned. "Enough," She said sharply as she sat up and shook her head. There was no need to be thinking such serious thoughts on such a fine day like this! Today would be a easy going free day.

Johnathon strolled down the hallways of Hogwarts with a small smile tugging at his lips. It was good to be back, even if it was only briefly so he could talk with some of the younger Quidditch players. He was there to give them an idea of what he did, and what they'd be facing outside of Hogwarts if they were truly passionate about pursuing Quidditch as a career. He himself had no regrets, he loved his job.
It was only as he passed the gardens did he pause, the scents dancing through the air captured his attention. Looking up at down the hallway he quickly determined that a few more minutes to explore the gardens would do no harm. Stepping outside and slowly began walking around the gardens, plucking a beautiful white flower. Usually doing that was frowned upon, but he was alone so didn't think much of it.
"Enough,"
Johnathon faulted in his steps as he looked around sharply for the voice. Thanks to Quidditch his relflexes were quick, and his eyes immediatley landed on the girl sat just across the way on one of the benches. He knew that now he should just leave, she hadn't noticed him just yet, but curiousity got the better of him and before he could react in any other way he was moving towards her, "Talking to yourself?" he asked, a teasing tone in his voice as he stopped a few steps away from the bench, twirling the flower around in his fingers.

Eliza jumped when someone spoke to her and when she turned to look her eyes were drawn to the white flower the other twirled between his fingers. With a grin Eliza looked up unto she could see his face clearly.
"Only when the voices say something first," She explained cheerfully. She recognized this stranger though she couldn't quit place from where. He was mostly likely a graduate since that was the only explanation Eliza could think of as to why he would be at Hogwarts.
"And you, picking such a fine flower from the garden," Eliza said in a fake serious tone as she made a soft 'tutting' sound and shook her head. If a teacher were to find out that he was picking the flowers trouble would come of it. Especially the herbology teacher who kept this garden in such good of shape as it was in currently.

Johnathon looked at the girl in front of him for a moment when she answered, before he burst out laughing, shaking his head he let his eyes search the garden before he turned back to her, "You hear them to huh?" he asked his tone light as he observed the girl. He watched as she glanced at the flower in his hands then smirked when she commented on it, a tone of seriousness in her voice.
"Lets just hope no one but you see's then...I could do without the ear bashing again." he said, remembering with a wince the last time he'd been spotted picking a flower out of the well taken care of garden. Looking back at the girl he took a step forward and shot her one of his prize winning smiles, "Names Jonathon Campbell and you would be?" he asked sticking out his hand, if he was right she looked to be in her seventh year although he had been known to get these things wrong from time to time.

Eliza smiled at him and chuckled at the mention of an ear bashing. So he had come to hogwarts before. Though that meant that he should know by now to leave the flowers alone. Eliza had heard terrible things happened to people who harmed the flowers in this garden.
Hearing his name made it finally click for Eliza as she realized who he was. Not only was he the chaser for the chudely canons but he was also a pureblood. Eliza knew of his family name and couldn't stop from sighing softly. Well he'd seemed like such a nice guy, however Eliza had learned from an early age that purebloods only put up this fake facade to get into the good graces of others. Eliza was fully aware of how biased this thinking was since she herself was also a pureblood but it did not stop her from not wanting to give him her name. But she couldn't be down right rude ether so Eliza shook the others hand with a smile on her face.
"I would be myself," Eliza replied as a way of dodging the true question. Giving away her own name would most likely notify the other of her own blood status and that Eliza did not want to do. Even if he was faking his actions he was at least being amussing at the moment. If he knew that she was a pureblood as well everything would become overly formal and boring. However, now that Eliza thought about it giving only her first name would work just fine.
"Though most people choose to just call me Eliza," She said, glad she had thought of this compromise.

Jonathon had a keen sense of hearing and hadn't missed the way she had sighed when he had introduced himself. He wasn't sure how to take that, did she want to talk to him still or did she know his name, put two and two together with his family and decide she no longer wanted to talk with him. It made him sad but he was well aware some people still judged him greatly on his bloody status and/or his family name. He'd long since broken away from his parents, he was making his own life on his terms.
When she gave him her name he smiled, covering up the slight disappointment he'd felt. "Well it's great to meet you Eliza..." he said, not missing the fact she purposefully avoided giving him her last name. Pulling his hand back he looked down at the flower he'd held then flicked it up in the air, watching as the wordless magic he performed had it floating through the air, returning it back to it's rightful place in the garden. Turning back to Eliza, he pushed his hands into his pants pockets, "So out here just to think or you doing what I used to and avoiding school work?" he asked, a smile dancing on his face.

Watching the word less magic, Eliza raised an eyebrow. Well, that was some what impressive. Eliza knew only a few people who could do wandless magic and even fewer still who could do word less magic so she couldn't help but feel some what impressed by this show of simple magic.
"Avoiding school work of course," Eliza said easily as she chuckled softly. This was one of the best places to go when one needed to avoid doing something. Inside this mundane garden one could easily lose track of time and relax. Eliza had no worries as long as she was in this garden and she liked that aspect a lot.
"And besides wishing to pick an innocent flower and then return it to it's place, what brings you out to this lovely garden?" Eliza asked, finally getting to the question that had been in the back of her mind for a while now. This man must be a graduate but not even that explained his reason for being at Hogwarts. Last time Eliza checked he already had a job that he was rather good at so he wasn't here for a job.
Perhaps he was just visiting and Eliza was over thinking all of this but Eliza hoped it was something far deeper. Eliza loved a mystery and knew that there were secret meetings happening every now and then at Hogwarts. It would be beyond cool if he had come here for one of them! Though that was all childish thinking that Eliza wouldn't tell anyone about...
