Ariadne stood watching the Whomping Willow try to take a swipe at her, an amused look painted on her face. She was just out of its reach, and the cranky old tree seemed to be getting frustrated, its swinging becoming more chaotic and frantic. Of course, this was making its swings more wild and uncontrollable, therefore proving even more futile. Ariadne smiled up at the dark tree, but her smile wasn't just out of amusement. It was out of pure elation. Two days prior, she'd had her run in with Stefan, which ended in a rather large arguement about their future. However, all was well now, and Stefan had even asked her out on a date. She'd let him decide what to do, and she didn't think she'd ever been more excited for anything in her life.
Ariadne had been excruciatingly nervous for the two days, and only just this morning had been told by Stefan to meet him by the Whomping Willow. Coming full circle, it was a fairly fitting place to resolve everything, since this is where the majority of their troubles began. Ariadne had spent hours fretting over her appearance, not sure what to wear. She'd settled for a fiery red mini dress, fitted to her body until it came to her hips, wear it became a bite more loose and flowy, with small spaghetti straps, with matching red pumps. Her hair fell in its signiture curls down around her shoulders, and she'd accessorized with silver hoops and a silver, heart-shaped locket. It was sweet, yet sultry, casual, yet elegant. In short, in was perfect.
Ariadne pulled her cloak tighter around her, hiding the dress. She wanted Stefan to be surprised. She heard footsteps behind her, but she didn't turn around. Instead, she gazed upwards at the sky, drinking in the beauty of the millions and millions of stars blinking at her. She'd never been one for astrology, but even she couldn't deny the sheer gorgeous-ness of the stars that night.

Stefan wasn't truly sure what he was doing. He wasn't a romantic guy but he thought for someone who'd never gone to so much effort for a girl before, he had planned a good night out away from the Castle. He made his way down to the Whomping Willow where he'd asked Ariadne to meet him, confidence in every step he took. There were no nerves plaguing him, why would there be, he and Ariadne had been friends for such a long time he saw this as a natural progression for their relationship.
Spotting her in the spot he'd told her to wait, he smiled and came to a stop beside her, "Ready then?" he asked holding out his arm, he'd be apparating them to their destination, they'd be hitting the muggle nightlife, dinner, movie, dancing...

Ariadne looked down from the night sky, meeting Stefan's gaze. She smiled softly, taking his arm. "Absolutely," she replied, holding tight to his arm. The pair walked to a place outside of Hogwarts' grounds where they could Apparate out. The familiar sensation of having her body squeezed through a tight tube didn't have the same effect as it used to on her, it was relatively painless, though sometimes Apparating with another caused her to feel a slight discomfort in her lower abdomen. Tonight was no exception, and along with the butterflies in her stomach, it made her queasy. Still, it passed relatively quickly.
"Where are we?" Ariadne asked curiously, eying the unfamiliar place. It was obviously London, she could tell by the structure, but it was rare that she came out to any part that wasn't magical. It must have been downtown, Muggle London, and she smiled softly, knowing Stefan well enough to know that he'd know this place like the back of her hand. "And what exactly do you have planned for this magical night?" Ariadne took off her cloak, taking out her wand and transforming it into a black leather jacket, then slipping it back onto her form, concealing her wand in the overly-large pocket.

Stefan chuckled and shook his head at Ariadne before answering, "Well for one thing...no magic..." he said giving her a knowing look before smiling and taking her hand in his, before leading her down the busy street. London nightlife...muggle nightlife in London...well it couldn't be beat really. Music pounded out of each of the clubs they passed, he looked forward to taking Ariadne into one, but with it still being relatively early they'd hit a restuarant first.
Stefan knew this part of London better than most, he spent most of his downtime here, just pretending to be normal even if just for a little while. Muggles didn't need magic to be happy and have fun like so many of his kind did, and he liked that. "So do you fancy a movie as well, or would you prefer dinner then dancing?"

Ariadne smirked, shoving her wand deeper into her pocket. "Perfect," she replied, knowing it shouldn't have surprised her. It didn't bother her in the least, she didn't feel like she needed magic to survive. Ariadne took her arm from Stefan's, instead taking his hand and lacing her fingers through his. She looked up at him, smiling softly, before focusing on the scenery around her. She was trying very hard to ignore the electricity running up her arm from Stefan's touch, but she found it rather simple once she began seeing the clubs and bright lights glowing, music pulsating from every door.
At Stefan's question she grinned. "Dinner and dancing sounds perfect," she replied. Dinner and a movie was too cliche, in her opinion. Besides, she'd be too tempted to pounce on Stefan in the darkness of a movie theater. With dancing, she'd be able to satisfy the majority of her desires in a tame way, without being judged. "So, where are we going to eat, love?" Ariadne asked curiously, not seeing any restaraunt. The block was seemingly lined with clubs and nothing more. "I'm starving," she added, dramatically swooning into his body and holding her stomach, giggling slightly.

Stefan smiled slightly at Ariadne when she laced their fingers together, choosing that as opposed to holding onto his arm. He did his best to ignore the shocks shooting up his arm, but it was next to impossible. Using his other hand he ran it through his hair, his eyes scanning the immediate area, trying to recall where all the good places to eat where.
"There's a nice chinese place just around the corner from here, I've been there a few times myself." he told Ariadne, as they walked around the corner. The aroma's drifting out of the restuarant where extrodinary, Stefan felt his stomach growling in appreciation. "That okay for you or would you prefer somewhere else?" he asked, looking down at the girl beside him.

Ariadne noticed the Chinese restaurant come into view just as Stefan was suggesting it. "That's perfect," she said almost immediately, smiling up at Stefan. Ariadne loved Muggle restaurants, and she hadn't been out to one in so long, especially one that served Chinese food. Some may say that it was dull, rubbery food, but Ariadne loved the stuff. The pair entered the restaurant, hand-in-hand. An oriental woman came up and waved them in the general direction of a table, a small booth in the corner where the pair could either cuddle next to each other or sit across from each other.
Ariadne looked towards Stefan. "Together, or apart? It doesn't matter to me," she asked, smiling softly. The pair stood whilst Ariadne waited for Stefan's response. It was in that moment that Ariadne realized how truly wonderful Stefan looked. Granted, he looked wonderful most days, but this day seemed to be a bit different. Ariadne stood on her toes, planting a soft kiss on Stefan's lips. "You look wonderful, by the way," she replied softly, smiling up at him. Ariadne wasn't sure whether they were officially together, or whether this was just a date, but she didn't care. All that mattered was that she was with him.

Stefan smiled and rolled his eyes at Ariadne's question, though before he could respond she'd stood on her tiptoes and placed a kiss on his lips. He hated that they had to part and was tempted to lean in once more and steal another kiss, but instead he resisted, there would be time for that lathers once more. er, he wanted this to be right. Squeezing her hand gently he tugged her down into the booth, making sure they were sat beside each other.
"Your looking extremely beautiful as always." he commented, in all honesty he couldn't remember a time where Ariadne didn't look good. Shrugging off his jacket he hung it on the back of the chair and grabbed hold of the menu, "So beautiful what is it you want to eat?" he asked, his hand seeking out hers.

[blockquoite] Ariadne was pleasantly surprised at the compliment, as well as Stefan pulling her down next to him in the booth. Smiling softly to herself, she snuggled into his arms and shrugged her leather jacket off, placing it alongside Stefan's. "Perfect," she practically purred, kissing his lips once more. At his question, she looked over the menu in his hands momentarily, then shrugged. "Anything, you're familiar with this place. You know what's good," she replied, smiling up at him. All in all, she didn't care what they ate, so long as she ate something.
Ariadne looked up as the waiter approached to serve the pair. The young man looked rather drab, and his pained expression only grew when he saw the lovebirds cuddling close. He seemed to swallow, then burst into a half-genuine smile. "What can I get for you?" he asked, tone flat. Ariadne smiled gently up at him. "Water's fine for me," she replied, looking up at Stefan. "What about you, love?" she asked, smiling widely. This was the happiest she'd been in a long time, and she wasn't about to let some jealous Muggle boy ruin her fun. [/blockquote]

Stefan ignored the waiter, he knew he had no need to worry with Ariadne, if anything he was confident her affections lay with him. "Water for me and..." he trailed off letting his eyes scan the menu before he ordered them some dinner, not much but enough to get them through tonight without worrying about getting anything else.
Stefan held out the menu to the waiter and shot him a humourless smile before turning his focus back on to Ariadne, "No drinking for me tonight if we're apparating back to the school later on..." he chuckled, wincing slightly at the memory of the last time he'd been splinched.

Ariadne cuddled close and smiled. "Wouldn't want either of us getting Splinched. I don't exactly have any Essence of Dittany on me, and going to the Hospital Wing for some would require explanation of why we broke curfew," she replied, frowning slightly. Splinching was never an enjoyment, she'd been Splinched a fair few times. It was never anything major, but it still hurt like hell. Still, Ariadne knew she'd have to be more careful when Apparating, it would be a shame to have to lose a limb for carelessness.
The waiter returned with their waters, took one last look at Ariadne, then disappeared once more. She laughed slightly. "Poor sap, wants what he can't have," she scoffed, leaning forward and taking a drink of her water. She set it back down upon the table and looked up at Stefan. "So, what exactly did you order us? All these names are very... unusual," she asked, smiling a crooked smile. Chinese restaurants always seemed to code their food in such a way that Ariadne could never understand what it was that she was intent on ordering.

Stefan chuckled as the waiter walked away and Ariadne made a comment, "Don't most people?" he asked, his arm moving around the back of the chair, so it rested over the back of Ariadne's shoulders. It seemed like he couldn't resist touching her in some way, maybe it was to prove to himself that this date was actually real, they were actually taking this step.
When she asked about what he had ordered Stefan merely smirked and shook his head, "You'll have to wait and see princess." he told her, smirking in her direction first before he began letting his eyes scan the room, taking in the crowd.

Ariadne narrowed her eyes slightly, a small smirk gathering on her lips. He hardly ever called her princess, but it was almost endearing when he did. She managed a smile, leaning back and closing her eyes. It was wonderful, and it was almost too good to be true. Still, there was that question in the air... "So, what exactly is this?" she asked finally, opening her eyes and looking up at Stefan. "Is this two friends going on a date, or is this a date... are we a couple?" she asked, turning a bit red at the question.

Stefan looked at Ariadne, a small frown on his face. Shaking his head, he brushed a lock of her hair behind her ear and a small smile appeared on his face, "Well I think we established the other night, we're more than just friends here..." he said with a hint of humour in his voice, he really doubted there was anyway they could go back to being just friends after the other night.
"That is what you want right? This? Us?" he asked, there was only one thing he knew would surely ruin their relationship, and that was if she ever found out about him being a Death Eater.

Ariadne breathed a sigh of relief. In response, she placed both hands on either side of his face and pulled him in for a long, soft kiss. Fireworks seemingly exploded inside her head and all time seemed to stop, leaving the two of them alone in the darkness. Her head was spinning when she broke the kiss, leaning into him and looking up at him. "Of course this is what I want. What I've always wanted. I love you," she replied, cuddling into his arms.
Ariadne wondered what would happen when she joined the Death Eaters. It certainly wasn't something he'd take lightly, and the last thing she wanted to do was ruin their relationship. The information also wasn't something she could hide from him, either. Ariadne buried those thoughts, she'd worry about it when the time came. Right then, in that moment, it was about her and Stefan's date, nothing more and nothing less. It was already perfection, and Ariadne didn't want anything to ruin the night. Stefan was perfect, they were perfect, and Ariadne couldn't possibly do anything to ruin it.
