"Beautiful...it's perfect, absolutely perfect!" Anabelle kept her eyes tightly closed as she listened to both her Mother and the Designer gushing over her finished Wedding Dress. Anabelle herself had yet to open her eyes and take in what she was wearing, she didn't want to, this dress symbolised the end of her life as she knew it. "Anabelle don't be such a drama queen open your eyes!" her Mother snapped at her, and Anabelle could feel 2 sets of eyes burning into her, waiting for her to comply.
Slowly, reluctantly, Anabelle opened her eyes and stared at the unreconisable figure in the mirror. Tears filled her eyes as she took in the wedding gown, it was magnificent, expensive, and so not Anabelle. She hated it and everything it stood for, biting on her lip she looked up into the face of the girl in the mirror. The lost look in her eyes, the loneliness conveyed there, broke Anabelle's heart once more and more tears fell. Mrs Dupree and the designer however both smiled in satisfaction obviously under the impression these were tears of happiness.
"Perfect, now please take it off her...Anabelle stop crying you silly girl you'll ruin your dress." her Mother said, stepping out of the dressing room. Anabelle blew out a breath shaking her head again and wiping away the tears as the designer began to help her undress. Anabelle eagerly clambered out the dress, not even waiting for help as she quickly dressed, not bothering to make sure her clothes were just right before she rushed from the dressing room, her breathing becoming laboured as she struggled to calm down.
Ignoring her Mother's calls, Anabelle rushed from the shop and out onto the street, barely able to see where she was going through the tears now streaming down her face. Soon though she came to a crashing halt, just up the way from the shop, hidden, she slid down the wall to sit on the floor and pulled her knees up to her chest, trying to catch her breath and get a hold of herself, but the more she thought about the wedding the harder it became, in less than a month she was to be married off and she was terrified...so much so she didn't notice the person approaching her...

Sebastian walked through Diagon Alley, glad to have had the day off of work that day. He was to be indicted as a full Healer the next day, and he couldn't have been more thrilled. Still, he was not about to let himself get too big-headed. He had stopped at Diagon Alley to pick up some extra Galleons from his vault, the money jingling around in his pockets. Looking around, he was pleased to see what a beautiful day it was. The sun was shining, though it wasn't too hot like it had been the last month or so.
Sebastian had opted for jeans that day, with a v-neck black t-shirt concealing his fit frame. It was no secret that the man took pride in his appearance and worked out regularly, though he'd always been a fit little boy. Looking around, he noticed a few witches leap out of the way of something, muttering obscenities. Cocking his head slightly to the side, his eyes widened as he saw Anabelle Dupree run from the witches tailoring shop in hysterics, dashing around a corner. His heart practically stopped. Even when upset, she was still wildly beautiful.
Sebastian took off after her, skidding to a halt at the alleyway when he saw that Anabelle had stopped. The beautiful woman had turned into a damsel in distress, and his heart longed to hold her and comfort her. Still, he had to remind himself that she was to be married within the next months, much to his dismay. Approaching her, he knelt down beside her, placing a hand on her shoulder. "Anabelle, are you alright?"

Anabelle was becoming desperate, there was no chance of her running away, going into hiding, her Father had already forseen his daughter doing that and there were eyes everywhere watching her, she even had a trace placed on her. When she felt the warm pressure of a hand on her shoulder and heard the warm familiar voice she jumped, her eyes locking with the man who'd been at the forefront of her mind this last month.
Sebastion, the healer who had taken care of her injury was now crouched in front of her again, a worried look in his beautiful eyes. Quickly she wiped away the tears from her face, having long since gathered control of her breathing she nodded her head and cleared her throat politely, "Not really, but there's little anyone can do about it...Sebastion right?" she asked softly, still not making a move to get up. The longer she stayed her the longer she could stay away from her Mother, though Ananbelle knew she couldn't hide.

Sebastian nodded and smiled sympathetically. "Yes, Sebastian," he replied. Sitting next to Anabelle, he looked at her. "The wedding's gotten to you even more, hasn't it?" he asked, looking into the girl's beautiful eyes. She looked terrified, but it seemed like she'd accepted her fate to some degree. Sebastian wanted nothing more than to help her, but he wasn't sure what to do. After all, the pair were still relative strangers. He was terrified. That wasn't something he normally admitted to, but he was terrified.
Sebastian placed his hand on hers and ignored the sparks igniting from the simple touch. "I'm here if you'd like to talk about it," he whispered compassionately, eyes scanning her face. Using his other hand, he reached over and wiped a tear that was falling down Anabelle's face. It was strange, how connected they were, even though they barely knew each other... But, everything felt so right.

"The wedding...I always believed marrying someone was supposed to be this, magical, wonderous thing, instead it's more like a death sentance hanging over my head..." she admitted, she wasn't surprised at how easy it was to talk honestly around Seb, somewhere deep down she trusted him immensly. Talking to him, being around him was as easy as breathing, she felt somewhat lighter in his prescence.
When he put his hand over hers she smiled softly, her eyes meeting his as he wiped away a stray tear from her face. "Talk? That's the one thing people have told me my entire life I'm not to do...accept whats been handed down to you, accept your fate but never ever talk about how much it's killing you inside..." she said, shaking her head. Turning her hand up, she let her fingers lock with his, and in a move so unlike her she allowed her head to rest on his muscular shoulder, taking from him the comfort she'd been craving for so long. "The only way out of this for me is if I'm tied to someone else...I just wish...I just wish this wasn't happening..." she said softly.

Sebastian was surprised when she started to talk, and even more so when she entangled her fingers with his. He leveled his gaze on her and nodded sadly. "I know. I agree. Marriage is about being in love, not being forced," he replied softly. When she laid her head on his shoulder, his breath caught in his throat. He slipped a comforting arm around her shoulders, smiling softly to himself. This situation, having his arms around a beautiful woman he adored, was something he dreamed about.
Her last statement was like a message from the Heavens. Take her, the voice in his head began to whisper. Take this angel and save her. Still, Sebastian couldn't bring himself to do it. It was all to fast. Besides, Anabelle was wealthy. Why would she ever go for a man like him?

Anabelle smiled softly. In truth she'd never experienced love, being in love or having someone love her. Since a young age it had been a fairy tale, something she craved but only ever got in her dreams. For so long, watching her parents she'd wondered if love truly existed, she'd doubted it, but now she knew it did. Love was having someone consume your thoughts, someone who made things easier by just being near you, made you smile, made everything lighter, someone you craved to be with...and so much more...at least thats what she believed now...especially now.
It was too soon to say she was in love with Seb, but she cared for him a great deal which was scary considering this was only the second time they had met. However for te last month he had consumed all her thoughts, his easy smile, his beautiful eyes. Sighing quietly she nodded her head, trying not to sink deeper into his embrace, "Have you ever been in love?" she asked before shaking her head, "I'm sorry it's none of my buisness."

Sebastian pondered the question for a moment. He wished he could say yes, but he still wasn't sure. "I... I don't know. I'd like to say that I have, but... I don't know what it feels like. I guess... I'm not sure. There's a small chance I'm in love... I mean, have been in love..." he replied, awkwardly stumbling over his words. Truthfully, he believed he was falling for Anabelle, but he wasn't sure. He didn't know what love felt like, but Anabelle consumed his every thought.
Still, Sebastian could in no way tell her that. It was too soon, and she was engaged to be married. Though she wasn't happy about it, she was still betrothed. It was a difficult situation, and Sebastian was trying hard not to get too attached, but he couldn't help himself. Anabelle was a precious angel sent from above, a jewel to be compared with no other. And yet, he couldn't bring himself to confess his growing feelings for her.

"Well whoever she is, she's a very lucky lady." Anabelle said softly, practice helping her hide the sting from his admission. Why she should be hurt over this was beyond her, they barely knew one another she had no right to feel hurt. Lifting her head off his shoulder she attempted to create just a little distance between them to make it less painful, though his arm still rested over her bare shoulders and she was reluctant to lose that contact.
Slipping her mask back on just that little bit she looked at Sebastion before grabbing her purse, "So what are you doing in Diagon Alley? No work today?" she asked, reaching in her purse for her compact mirror, to touch up her make up and undo the damage that had been caused by her crying before she'd even consider heading back out into the busy street.

Sebastian heard the tinge of bitterness in Anabelle's tone and was slightly shocked. She could've just been jealous, but it seemed more than that, somehow... she seeed... sad. Like there was something she wished could have been said further. His mind was still pondering the sadness in her voice when she shoot him a few more questions in a half-hearted attempt to change the topic. "Day off of work," he replied with a small nod, getting to his feet. He leaned against the wall, watching Anabelle further.
She seemed... pained. Sebastian sat in silence for a moment, considering his options. A part of him wanted to reveal his affection for her, but the other part told him it was a recipe for disaster. It would only hurt him in the long run... still, he couldn't let the beautiful woman slip through his grasp. "I become a full Healer tomorrow," Sebastian finished, a small smile gracing his features. Swallowing his pride, he managed to choke out, "And about the girl I may be falling for... I wish she was happier." He looked down at her intently, hoping she'd understand that he was referring to her.[gblockquote]
