Erik looked down at Elliot, feeling her pulse quicken as they stood in their embrace. He smiled, feeling his own pace race as she replied with her own round of "I love you." His smiled widened as he took in the beautiful girl he was pleased to call his girlfriend. Caressing her face gently, he realized how truly lucky he was. He leaned down and pressed his lips against her's softly, allowing his eyes to flutter closed as he relished in the heat that moved through his body at the simple show of affection.

Elliot had not felt this way in a long time, in fact it had likely been since they had gone out together in their sixth year. Erik had been, and remained to that day, the only person she had ever gone out with. Well, there had been Jacob Foster shortly after they had broken up, she and him had gone to a dance together but nothing had come from it. And if Elliot was going to be honest, she had only gone out with Jacob to make Erik jealous. Whether it had worked or not, though, she still had no idea. Her own eyes slid closed as Erik kissed her again, her heart continuing to flutter. Her hands migrated to a resting place against Erik's chest, she could feel his faster-than-normal pulse beneath them. Elliot's mind wandered a bit to her mother while they kissed, Ginny would have liked to see them together again...
