"R-Right," Marcus said breathing deeply and restoring his heart-rate to normal, "sorry Seth... I-I paniced." Marcus felt stupid. He should have known better than to freak out. And it was especially dangerous to raise his heart and breathing too high, too fast now that Seth had been turned. "I know you wouldn't Seth... And again, I'm sorry. I'm just not used to this." Marcus said with a small smile to reassure Seth that he was alright. Now back to normal but still slightly embarrassed he turned his focus on the rooms.

Seth closed his eyes and did his best not to think about Marcus at all for a moment. With the slight help of occlumency Seths mind became empty as he stopped both his thoughts and emotions for the time being. "It's alright Marcus, there there is no need to be afraid of me," Seth said gently even as the faint feeling of pain tried to get past his mental shield. Seth knew it was his fault for evoking such a reaction from Marcus. He knew the others boundries and had simply pushed to far this time. Like Marcus said, he wasn't used to any of this and Seth just needed to take a step back.
"Lets look through the bedrooms shall we?" Seth said as he changed the subject and turned instead to focus on the first bedroom they came to. The upstairs had three rooms and a large bathroom. Seth was figuring that Marcus would claim one room as his bedroom and then one room would be a quest bedroom and the last room could be turned into Marcus' study room. Seth didn't plan on bringing hardly any of his things up to this level of the house since he would be unable to spend much time up stairs.
The first room they looked at had hard wood floors and soft blue wall papper covering the walls. A large window hung out slightly so that there was an empty bench like seat that sat in the wall. The window faced to the back of the house so that the large field and small woodland area could be seen. "This is a nice room," Seth said.

Marcus paused for a moment, processing what had just happened in those first few seconds. "Seth wait," he said catching his arm and pulling closer to him, "I wasn't afraid of you, not like that. I was nervous... of not being up to par with that sort of intimacy. And I know you wouldn't ever do anything that I didn't want, but I'm not sure what that is. The only way I can think to find out to try, but I don't know where to start or what to do. But I don't want you to feel bad for it, ok? We'll figure it out." Marcus smiled and maneuvered in front of Seth and looked into his eyes. "Won't we?" He reached out and softly touched Seth's shoulder. He new better than to make too many moves close to Seth's face but he still wanted to reassure Seth.

Seth wasn't sure if he wanted to cry in frustration or just hold Marcus, his emotional roller coaster bursting through his mental shields. Of course Marcus hadn't truly been afraid of him but that didn't change the fact that Seth had went to far. Marcus just didn't understand that he was more then 'up to par' and could easily turn Seth into pudy with just a few well placed words. Marcus just didn't know what he wanted and because of that things were just going to be a little challenging at first. Moving in together was a huge step and life would be rough at first as they got used to living together.
"Marcus," Seth said with a weak smile as he stopped breathing and just looked at the other. Marcus was so perfect with his dark eyes and dark unruly hair. If Seth had to describe perfection to someone he would show them a picture of Marcus and then try to explain what Marcus was like because that was the closest Seth could get to explaining perfection. Seth took Marcus' hand as gently as he could and brought it up to his lips and placed a soft kiss on the back of the hand. "Of course we will figure it out."

Marcus smiled and very slightly blushed at the kiss. "Well then," he said glancing around the room before looking back around to Seth, "we have more house to explore. And I must admit, it's not as bad in here. It seems like it's just the outside of the house that's really the rugged part."
He wanted to cheer up Seth with talk about the house. He knew that even though Seth seemed alright on the outside, he most likely was still beating himself up over the flirting. It was an infernal habit Seth had and if he could, Marcus was determined to break it. Nothing came out of beating yourself up over every little thing. There were things you could do, and things you couldn't. If there was something you couldn't do that you wanted to do, you learned over time. It was baffling to Marcus how this seemed to not register with a lot of people. Whatever the reasoning behind it, it was unhelpfull and Marcus didn't like it. So, he was going to do his best to help Seth with not being so down on himself!
"I think you made a good choice with the house Seth," Marcus said as they moved around. And it was true, the house was very nice and although it was not emaculately perfect and exactly like Marcus would have imagined, it could easily become that. It was good that Seth had been the one picking the house, if it had been Marcus they would still be looking...for three more weeks at least! Seth's optimistic impulsiveness did have good qualities to it. Marcus probably wouldn't have chosen this house, but now he was glad that this was where they had ended up.
