Ever since the attack on hogwarts, Brendan had be busy with doing stuff as well as making sure that nothing could get to the death eaters, at least the very top an important things of which was half of the things in the department. The other half was sort of known, because of it was not quite as important for most of those project were needed with helping to protect the wizarding people from the attacks. That half was mostly handle by Piper, but the other half that was not at all known was handle by Chris and Brendan in Chris' office. All those files were kept in Chris office in a hidden that could only be open by a spell and the spell would only open to two voices, Brendan's and Chris'. In those files were projects that Brendan would hope be starting to soon to help find a way to at least stop attacks or at least protect people.
At the moment Brendan was in his own office going though some of the old papers that was pointless to keep around because of hormone they were and there things that were common and were no longer a mystery or a secret in the department of mysteries. There was a lot of it as well, with getting of the old things and coming up with new things, that would need to be kept secret, had made Brendan very busy. As a result he hadn't seen Piper so long that it felt like forever since he had last seen her, he doesn't even remember the last time they had spoke with each other. At the moment that didn't matter for he needed to get rid of the old things in office and make sure the important stuff was safe, as well as think another place to put the important stuff when there was more of it and when Chris' office space won't have any more space for it. Brendan was tired and sleepy, he put his head on the desk and fell asleep as soon as his head touches the desk. Because of how sound asleep he was that he didn't hear anyone enter into the office.
