This was, in no way, Maverick's normal scene. Especially now, with everything that had happened at the school, he was working over-time every night while attempting to curb his change with the wolfsbane potion. So far, neither had gone well for him. He was exhausted and irritable, but his feet had carried him to the little Muggle cafe to help him wake up with a breakfast of eggs, toast, and bacon. The tall, muscular man entered the establishment, yawning and stretching. He hated to be out of his robes, feeling out of place in jeans and a t-shirt, but he made due.
Settling down in a booth, he ordered coffee, black, as well as his breakfast. The coffee came almost instantaneously, from a tall, busty waitress. She continued to stare at him with her piercing green eyes, and he waved her off as politely as he could. He normally wasn't a very kind man, but was gracious when it mattered. At least he wasn't a barbaric creature, much to the disbelief of those who knew of his true nature. Being a werewolf wasn't easy. Despite his best efforts at keeping the waitress at bay, she continued to flirt. Frankly, it was uncomfortable.
He was most certainly attracted to men, and only men. Frankly, woman were strange, foreign. He only wanted men. It seemed odd, someone so masculine to be something so stereotypically feminine, but that's what he wanted. He didn't know how to get it, but he knew that was what he wanted. Maverick continued to anxiously wave off the waitress, hoping she'd get the hint. He'd never had to outwardly say that he was gay to anyone, but he was in that sort of mood that day.
Maverick finally got the waitress to leave him alone. Sighing and wrapping a fist around his coffee mug, he took a long, hearty drink, staring casually out the window as he began to wake up, preparing for a long, boring day off.

To say he was excited would be ridiculous. Wren was so close to her due date and he was more than excited to meet the two baby girls that she would bring into the world and that would be his god-daughters. The thought still thrilled him and he was going to be sure to do what he could to help Wren and Zach taking care of their full house. He knew it was going to be extremely busy at their house and he wanted to be able to help them. He knew quite a few things about caring for small children since he had been the oldest in his family and had to help plenty of times to care for his siblings. He had quite a large family, especially on his father's side where he had a number of cousins no older than eight years old. So, yes, he knew a number of tips to make things easier. As he stepped into the cafe with a wide smile on his face, he quickly went to the counter to order a coffee on the go. He had to get back to his shop soon, having only left to allow his apprentice to have some on-hand experience.
Once he received his double-shot, caramel creme latte with a drizzle of honey, he turned to leave when his eyes fell onto the dashing form of the man who he had spoke to awhile back. Michael had never in his wildest dreams had thought that he'd ever meet the highly interesting man again. Shaking his head as he caught himself staring, he hesitated for a moment before stepping up to the table. "Good Morning. This seat isn't taken is it?", he asked, hoping the man would recognize him.
