He would spend the summers with his maternal grandparents on their farm in the Scottish moors. He and his sister would spend the summer days in the forests, identifying plants and practicing quidditch. His sister excelled in the sport while he found he preferred his feet firm on the ground. Out on the farm they could see the stars where he develop his love of astronomy.
Life continued as such, his love of earth magic growing. He excelled of course in Herbology, care of magical creatures and astronomy. He spent the next few years after his schooling adventuring across every habitat he could think of, documenting both muggle and magical creatures in his own private journal. He returned to live with his pregnant sister after her muggle boyfriend left her as she explained their child would have magic. He now needs a job to help support his sister and a room not designed for a baby girl.
MUGGLE WORLD
Alias: Hana
RP Experience: Two and a half to three years
RP Sample: It was light out, but the thick canopy overhead created dancing shadows along the grassy floor. The only real sunlight fell in small dots that swayed with the trees. The forest was alive with sound, but Jace only heard one. He focused on the beautiful falcon, his pen swiping the sketch book quickly. The falcon peeked it's head, gazing intently at him. Rather than take flight as he would have thought, she met his stare, until he was the one who looked away. The quiet hoot of an owl alerted them both, sending the creature into graceful take off.
Bella's tawny owl perched grumpily on his arm, agitated by the thick forest. He chuckles softly, stroking her head, before returning to his small camp. She looked about in dismay, practically imitating every emotion of his sister. He took the letter from her beak before allowing her to take her place on his shoulder, neatness into the crook of his neck.
Deep, heavy knots piled up quickly in his stomach, throat closing as he read the letter, the parchment blotted with tears. Due to the American muggle, he couldn't even enjoy the news of his niece to be. He could see his sister's heart shaped face, empty without a smile. In all of their years he had hardly to see her without a smile. He closed the parchment, looking at the owl, then to the camp he had been calling home for two weeks now.
"She's going to make me work now, isn't she?" He sighed heavily. Only Bella could pull such a drastic favor from him. He took what was, conveniently, his last piece of parchment, scribbling only one word.
Coming
Handing the parchment to the owl he gave her soft head one less stroke before she gladly took flight once more. He looked around at the woods, knowing there was almost no possible chance he could find a job where his heart was. There really was only one place...
