"Yes, just keep taking the medicine for the next thirteen days and your symptoms should go away," Jenna told the woman she had been treating for the past few days. The woman quietly thanked her and, taking all of her potions with her, walked down the hallway to leave the hospital. Jenna sighed as she watched her patient leave. Work had become tiring as of late and Jenna found herself missing Luke more than ever. Mostly she missed having someone to talk to after she got home.
It wasn't that Jenna didn't have any friends. She had some, she supposed, though they were mostly relatives, but not as many as most people. During school Jenna had always been more focused on her studies rather than her social life, which she supposed was why she was now a Healer at St. Mungo's while the majority of her classmates were still starting their careers. Still, Jenna sometimes wished things were different.
She started on her rounds for the day, trying not to let her baby bump bother her. It was starting to show through her clothing now, and Jenna knew in a matter of weeks it would be blatantly obvious that she was pregnant. The though didn't bother her as much as she thought it would, losing Luke was far worse than people thinking she was irresponsible for having a baby out of wedlock. Besides, Jenna didn't think this would become real to her until she actually had names picked out for her unborn child. As of the moment, she had absolutely no idea.
Jenna finished up re-wrapping the bandages on her third patient of the morning, smiling at the older man. He had been at St. Mungo's for a while and probably wouldn't be leaving anytime soon. Jenna felt bad for him, so she tried to do something special for the old man, like bring him breakfast or flowers. That morning she had forgotten, though, so she supposed a smile would have to do. As Jenna walked out into the hallway, the sound of footsteps made her look up to see who was coming her way.

Angel walked down the hall, even more tired than usual. She was currently there with Isaiah in her arms, at her apartment taking care of Morgayne, at work, and keeping up with the housework at her father's house. It was difficult being in two places at once, but four was near unbearable. But if anyone could handle it, it would be her. Unfortunately, Isaiah had picked an inopportune moment to fall ill, she had just taken him to the healer, and he had finally fallen asleep as she paced the hallways with him. "Oh, hello Jenna," Angel said tiredly to her cousin.

A smile came across Jenna's face at the sight of her cousin holding one of her young boys. Jenna wasn't really sure if this was Isaiah or Morgayne though, as she hadn't spent much time with Angel in the past few months. "Hello Angel," she said as brightly as she could manage being as tired as she was feeling. "What brings you here?" Jenna kept her voice slightly quieter than usual as not to disturb the sleeping baby in Angel's arms.

"Isaiah here got ill, he's just been to the healer, all's well now," said Angel, managing a smile in spite of how tired she was. It was certainly not being helped by the state of her father, he hadn't left his bedroom in nearly a week. Angel was saddened by the death of her mother, but Harry seemed as if he were lying around like a brainless zombie- not thinking, not feeling. It made it hard on the rest of the family.

Jenna nodded, glad that Angel had mentioned the name of her son so that Jenna would not have to guess whether he was Isaiah or Morgayne. "Well, I'm glad that he's on the road to recovery," Jenna commented. Isaiah probably wasn't completely healed yet, but usually within a day or two the potions that the Healers made had everyone back on their feet.

"Yes, caring for the both of them on my own when they're healthy is difficult enough as it is," said Angel, delicately transferring her son to a position in her left arm. She looked down at Isaiah to be sure that she hadn't woken him up, then she might have to smack herself on the forehead. Thankfully, he was still contently asleep. "I've been meaning to ask, but might you be able to babysit not this Thursday but the next?" Angel asked. It would be full moon then- she would probably spend the night in the Shrieking Shack or something.

"Yeah, I bet," Jenna replied with a slight grimace at the thought that she would be in a position similar to Angel's in few more months. It was scary to think about, Jenna wasn't yet sure what she would do when the baby came. She paused for a moment at Angel's question, mentally checking her schedule, which didn't seem quite as organized as before she had found out she was pregnant. "Yes, I'm pretty sure I'm free," Jenna replied. She had never babysat for the twins before, it was bound to be interesting.

"They'll be asleep for most of the night," said Angel, gently swaying back and forth in an effort to keep Isaiah from waking up. Babies were cranky when they were sick, and the longer he was asleep, the better it was for her. "I'll make sure everything is ready before you get there, thank you so much. You wouldn't believe how hard it is to get a babysitter for twins." Angel said, she had spent a long time finding people. She usually asked her friends, and she would have asked Gabriella again, but she felt guilty about shoving her sons onto her cousin so frequently.

Jenna nodded, processing what Angel had just said a bit slower than usual. "You're welcome," Jenna replied with a smile. "I'm happy to help out." She knew that Angel certainly had her hands full with the twins and probably needed someone to take them when she transformed into a werewolf. It had to be difficult. As long as the twins didn't get too cranky, Jenna would be fine. If they did, though, she would probably call in some help. Jenna didn't have too much experience with babies, except the ones at the hospital.

"It's a lot of help, there are just some things that can't be avoided by going back in time," said Angel, smiling lightly. She wished there were some way to avoid transformation, though she counted her lucky stars that she could brew an effective Wolfsbane potion- she had only lost her mind once during transformation- it had been frightening, waking up in the middle of the Forbidden Forest, having no recollection of what had happened the night before. Needless to say, one time was once too many in her mind.

Jenna nodded; she could definitely understand that. There were just some things that couldn't be fixed with magic, no matter how much you wanted them to be. "I understand," she said. "Don't worry about the twins, I'm sure we'll all have a grand time." Jenna smiled at this. She liked children a lot, though she wasn't quite sure if they liked her back. But watching Isaiah and Morgayne for one night didn't seem like too big of a deal as long as they slept most of the time.

"They're usually agreeable," said Angel, in spite of her near-constant sleep disruption she usually found Morgayne and Isaiah were pleasant to be around. Unless of course one of them was ill. With her free hand, Angel tucked her hair behind her ears. She had taken to curling it lately, she found she rather liked it that way. Besides, it gave her something to do as she tried not to crumble under all the stress. She was only seventeen and had the burdens of a much older woman. If she looked at it, Angel was still a child, mother or not, she was only seventeen.

"That's good," Jenna replied. She would hate to think that babies were annoying all the time. Jenna hadn't been around really little kids in a long while, though, since her youngest cousins were born. And even then, Jenna hadn't spent much time with them due to Penelope's need to stay away from the Weasley side of the family. "I like your hair, by the way," Jenna added, when she felt the conversation was ending. Jenna couldn't remember if Angel had curled her hair before the twins were born, but it looked rather good on her.

"Oh, thanks," said Angel, smiling, "I've been curling it recently." She was glad that her cousin had noticed, so far not very many people had. Lately she had been trying to put more effort into her appearance, as it had not been anywhere near a priority of hers whilst she was in school. Angel had used to just pull her hair back and not wear any makeup, her only jewelry being earrings. She just felt it necessary to be a bit more presentable, being a wandmaker was a position of business, her appearance ought to reflect that.

"You're quite welcome," Jenna replied, feeling suddenly self-conscious about her own appearance. She usually tried to do something with her hair and put on makeup, but sometimes with being a Healer, that wasn't really practical. That morning Jenna had curled the majority of her hair before getting an owl asking her to come in early. So now her mostly curly hair was in a neat ponytail and she was without makeup. It wasn't one of her better days.
