Raychel could tell Levi was hesitant. She looked him square in the eye. "Levi, listen to me." she stated, her voice calm, yet commanding. Once she was sure she had his full attention, she continued. "Darling," she started, moving to caress his face. "Take the job. It's what you want, it's what's right. I'm not trying to force you into it, but I know you want this badly. If you're worried about the family you'll be leaving behind, don't. We'll still be here, and I will be behind you every step of the way. If you're scared of the unknown, don't be. You have to take that first step, and don't you ever look back." Raychel finished on a high note. She smiled softly, dropping her hand onto his shoulder.

Levi smiled, he was going to take it. He was still young, and with that kind of money, he could retire in extremely good wealth by the time he was thirty. "Thanks Raychel," said Levi, giving his girlfriend a light kiss on the cheek. She always knew how to make him feel better about things. He could see himself cracking puzzles others were baffled with... Levi knew this was right, but he still wasn't sure where it would lead.

Raychel smiled and wrapped her arms around Levi, giving him a very gentle hug. She placed her head on his shoulder and sighed softly. "So, are you going to take it?" she asked curiously. "Because, if you are, I want to be there when you tell your parents." she replied. Then she realized something with a start. Raychel had never met Levi's parents. The prospect was fairly frigthening.

"Yes, I most certainly am going to take it," said Levi. "And if you would like to be there when I tell my parents you can," He too recalled that Raychel had never met them, well, there was a first time for everything. Levi already knew that his mother would freak out with happiness for him, but he wasn't sure about his father. George seemed to be set on him and Asher running Wizard Wheezes, but Levi had told him several times that wasn't his ambition in life. Needless to say, Asher was his father's favourite.

Raychel grinned. She was so excited, but nervous. This was a big deal to her, since Levi would never get the chance to meet her parents. Raychel was ecstatic for someone so grief-stricken. Even though she was going through a lot, the relationship she shared with Levi was blossoming into a beateous flower.

"I'm sure they'll love you," said Levi. "They're not too stuck-up, my father owns a joke shop for crying out loud." He lightly placed his hand on Raychel's knee, a loving gesture, but not one that was terribly risque. Just a touch (the kind shared by lovers), nothing more, nothing less.

Raychel laughed a bit at that. "I don't doubt they won't, trust me. I just... I wish you could have met my parents." she replied quietly. It was a worthless need, but a need all the same. Raychel smiled gently and hugged Levi softly. "It's nothing, really." she reassured, more to herself than anything.

"No, I understand," said Levi. "It was important to you," He placed a light kiss on his girlfriend's forehead. He lightly rubbed her knee, looking into her eyes that he had charmed to be brown upon entering. This was just going to be a new adventure; Levi kept mentally telling himself that. Nothing was going to change, maybe the way they went about things, but they would always be together, at least Levi hoped so.

Raychel smiled and caressed Levi gently. "This is only going to make my love for you stronger. All of this, my vampirism, your job, everything." she whispered softly, the sweet, loving smile just barely there. Raychel brought her lips to Levi's face and kissed him ever so softly. Her lips brushed against his, but barely. She then realized how terrified she was, how truly petrified she must have looked.

Levi took notice of how Raychel seemed almost terrified, but tried not to care. He lightly kissed along the length of her cheekbone until his lips were by her ear. "Don't be afraid," Levi whispered. He found it sort of ironic, one might expect the situation to be the other way around, her telling him to not be frightened. But as it was, Levi had found his mildly reckless streak.

Raychel felt an eerie chill creep up her spin at the words and at the closeness of Levi. Never before had things ever been so intimate between the two of them. Sure, their were passionate kisses, but never anything over the top or dripping with sex appeal. This wasn't either of the two things, but it was definitely a step forward. Raychel in turn tilted her head slightly, since Levi's ear was already near her. "Never." she replied softly, her answer surprisingly bold for one so shaken.

Levi's hand found a resting place in the curve where Raychel's neck met her shoulders, her hair lightly dusting his fingers, as his lips met hers once more. Levi kept it brief, but the passion behind it was more than obvious, he had never felt so strongly for anyone before, it was almost as if he had been waiting his whole life for Raychel, Levi just had the good fortune of having met her so early.

Raychel let the kiss linger on her lips, her eyes remaining shut. She finally opened them and dared to look at Levi. Smiling softly she kissed him again, a bit of urgency apparent. She broke it off and leaned her forehead against Levi's. "I love you." she whispered. One thing that she had always loved about their relationship was how fast it had matured. And now, it seemed to have matured even more. Raychel had the urge to ask Levi to marry her right then and there, but she stopped herself. It wouldn't be right, not now.

"I love you too," Levi said, tone soft in volume, but filled to the brim with sincerity. He intended Raychel to be the one and only that he would speak those words to, sure there were thousands of pretty girls out there, but only Raychel was the one that held Levi's attention, the only one he wanted to hold in his arms and give his affections to.

Raychel allowed a small small tug at the corners of her mouth as she brought her lips to Levi's once more. This kiss was hesitant, and soft, but full of unspoken passion. Raychel wasn't exactly sure how to control her strength and knew she could seriously hurt Levi if she went too far. The kiss lasted longer than expected as she focused on not crushing poor Levi. She wrapped her arms around Levi, holding him close to her.
