Raychel had, indeed, seen the knife's glint. She didn't say anything, just kept Emily close. She was worried about her, but it wasn't her place to judge. Raychel was close to the same thing. It was just a way to get anger out, of depression.

"I'm s-sorry," Emily said very quietly after a moment, she hated anyone seeing her like this, much less comforting her. This was her own burden to bear, not that of anyone else's. She felt guilty almost, as if it wasn't her place to be asking for help from others, regardless of how badly she needed it. Emily knew that she wasn't mentally well, but she would have to sort it out for herself.

Raychel merely shook her head. Emily didn't need to apologize. It wasn't her fault that she was in despair. It was the scumbag who raped her's fault, not Emily's. Raychel was still in shock about Emily's ordeal. It was absolutely awful.
((OOC: If you would, could you have someone find Raychel? I don't care who.))

Emily dug her teeth into her lip, firmly, but not hard enough to draw blood. She tried to stop herself from crying, but found the task to be next to impossible. At least it was only Raychel, and she wasn't having this mental breakdown in the middle of class. The last thing Emily wanted was more gossip about her, or being thought of as some sort of drama queen.
((OOC: Sure, and could you have someone reply to c o n trol? It's in the empty classroom in the seventh floor. I also don't care who.))

Raychel remained silent. The only thing she could do was merely be there for her new friend. She felt a weird connection to the younger girl, a motherly love for her. In her mind, she vowed to help Emily, 'til the end. That much she swore.[/blockquote
((OOC: Of course.))

Emily pressed the palms of her hands to her eyes until she began to see spots behind her eyelids, and then removed them, looking into the fire again, which seemed oddly blurred. The tears were just pouring forward from her eyes without much control on her part, like a dam had burst inside her head. Emily's breathing was loud and stuttered when she exhaled, fighting sobs that were building up in her throat.
((OOC: danke))

Raychel wrapped her other arm around Emily and hugged her tightly. She allowed Emily to cry on her shoulder. She kept her eyes up, watching the wall behind Emily. She didn't care about helping herself right now, for Emily needed her. She needed someone to lean on, someone to help her. Raychel was determined to be that person. No matter what, Raychel was going to help Emily.

Emily cried until her eyes felt irritated and dry, and then some. Words couldn't describe how grateful she was for Raychel, not trying to do anything, just being there for when she fell apart, even if Emily preferred that nobody witness her like this. She was so hungry... But she wouldn't allow herself to eat, and if she did, she would probably force herself to throw up. Food and cutting were the only things she had control over, and Emily was going to exercise power over them for however long she felt she needed.

Raychel finally released Emily as the sobs began to quiet. She smiled gently, tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear. Another rag appeared in the room, this time with a small bucket of water. Raychel swiftly dipped the cloth into the water and proceeded to dab at Emily's face. The girl was done crying for now, but her skin was dry, and pale. She finished up and then began to blot her own forehead, which was perspiring a bit. She turned towards the fire in one fluid motion and opened and closed her hand quickly, snuffing out the fire. Immediately, a dim light appeared a short distance away to provide some light.

Emily didn't understand herself anymore, for three months she had been able to go on strong, as if it had never happened, but now it was as if she were back on square one again, barely able to tell which way was up, and not knowing how to live with herself. Perhaps she had never truly gotten over it in the first place.

Raychel's stomach began to rumble in hunger. Instantly, a box of chocolates appeared. She resisted the temptation to lick her lips as she lifted the lid. She didn't bother to offer some to Emily, the girl needed silence. If she wanted some, there was plenty. All Emily had to do was pick one.

Emily couldn't help but be amazed when a box of chocolates appeared from nowhere. The room wasn't supposed to be able to do food, that was certainly strange. She kept her thoughts away from her own hunger, if anything was going to be kept secret it would be her anorexic-like obsession with not eating. That, nobody was going to know. It was Emily's secret.

Raychel took note of Emily's astonished expression. "The room didn't conjure it. I asked of the room to send food from the kitchens. Just a gift from the house elves." She replied with a smile. She polished off another piece of chocolate before setting the box aside. She left some, if Emily were going to eat something. Of course, Raychel wouldn't force her. That wasn't her place.

"Oh, okay," said Emily, although she had not been looking for an explanation of the magic behind the chocolate, it just had taken her off guard that was all. Behind the Emily's blue-grey eyes an intense mental battle was going on, it was incessant, just a never-ceasing scenario of anguish. She ran a hand through her hair.

Raychel didn't need to look farther than Emily's eyes to know there was a lot going through her head. Raychel remained silent. She diverted her gaze to a random spot on the wall, as if fascinated. It was just a plain portion of wall, nothing special. She wanted to give Emily space, but not physical. Mental awareness, mental space was more important in this situation.
