In more than typical behaviour of other males his age, Dean practically scarfed down everything without pausing for a second. When he had polished off everything, he downed the entire glass of milk without coming up for air once, and then laid down his utensils and tray neatly. Dean wiped his mouth with the back of his hand, and then used his pillows to lean against.

Tristan placed his dishes upon Dean's neatly then turned towards him. He wanted to know more about what had happened last night. The fact that Cora might have been invovled frightened him to no end. Yet, he couldn't get her off of his mind. Tristan tapped his fingers on the bed, not quite sure he wanted to know. He didn't feel like prying his friend for information, especially something that involved his incredibly gorgeous twin. It was a little awkward, flirting with one of his friends' sisters, but Tristan wasn't focusing on that at the current moment.

Dean sat there awkwardly a moment, the room felt somewhat tense, he wasn't the best at figuring out people, but it didn't take an expert to realize that Tristan wanted to know more about what had happened last night. He took in a breath and then began to explain. "Last night Cora found her way to my dormitory, she practically begged me to follow her somewhere, said it was something important." said Dean. "She led me down to the forest, where a woman was there, waiting for us. With just one kick she broke my knee so I couldn't run. She told Cora to torture me, so she did. Before the both of them left, the woman cursed me, and that's all I can remember."

Tristan was torn. Upon hearing this news, he immediately wanted to hate Cora. But he could never do that. It was difficult to believe Dean's far-fetched story, but there was no other explanation. On the other hand, Cora had been cruel to her twin. But had she really meant that cruelty? Tristan intended to find out. Even if it took him years, he would weasel the information out of her. For Dean.

"Pretty crazy, huh?" said Dean, absently running a hand through his hair once more. He wouldn't blame Tristan for not believing him, he doubted that more than half of the people he would have to explain himself to wouldn't take him seriously. Most likely write him off as a loner wanting attention. If only Cici were there, as she was still away for the Tournament. She would be back soon, wouldn't she? Apparently something had gone horribly wrong during the final task, but Dean had not gotten a ton of information about it.

Tristan nodded absently. His mind was working double time to try and find a plan. It would have to be logical, but rash. Cora needed guidance, if her and her brother were to come to terms. Tristan picked up a shiny red apple that had been left on the tray and polished it against his shirt. He took a large, but satisfying bite.

Dean remained quiet, wishing that he had his bag, to give him something to do. He thought of the unusually organized bag for someone of his age, several textbooks and a few volumes he had borrowed from the library, rolls of parchment, four different colours of ink, seven eagle feather quills, and a seemingly blank notebook. In reality, Dean had written the entire thing in invisible ink in order to have some privacy, as some of his house mates found pleasure in hiding his things.

Tristan examined the bite in the apple as if it were absolutely fascinating. He remained silent for a while. "I don't believe she meant to have you hurt." He replied finally. "Cora is not the type of person to hurt her twin on purpose. From what you've told me, the woman who attacked you was influencing her." He finished with an air of determination. Tristan planned on helping the twins out. It wasn't fair that they were butt-heads. Tristan knew that he would want someone to help if he and Trinity were experiencing the same thing.

"Well it was of her own choice to go running after the Death Eaters," Dean said bitterly, he wasn't even sure if he wanted to talk to his sister anymore, because of what she did, he had nearly died. He was still in shock that she could do such a thing. They had their fights like any other set of siblings did, but Dean had trusted Cora.

Tristan didn't have a response to that. He eyed Dean sternly, like a parent. The both of them were his friends, and he wasn't about to let them harm each other. He turned back to his apple and took another bite wordlessly. He would have a stern conversation with Cora, and continue to persuade Dean that his sister didn't mean to do what she had done. Obviously, there had to be some sort of explanation behind her joining the Death Eaters.

Dean kept quiet, staring at the wall. He wasn't ready to forgive Cora, not just yet. Unless he got proof that she had been under the Imperius curse and not acting of her own accord. He wouldn't blame her for that. But she didn't display any of the signs of being cursed in that manner. Of course, there could be some very convincing puppeteers, but Dean wasn't going to believe that unless there was solid evidence.

Tristan decided to drop the idea, at least publicly. There was no use talking about it. Tristan polished off the apple and place it on the tray. He patted his friend's back gently, a gesture equivalent to a hug. "Well, no doubt you'll be here a couple days." He replied, getting to his feet.

Dean groaned, this was true, regardless of whether or not he wanted to, he was most likely too weak to leave just then. If only Tristan were a Ravenclaw, then he could ask him to go and fetch one of his books or something. "Yeah, I s'ppose." said Dean. He thought a moment. It was Wednesday. "You should probably go, so you're not late." Dean said.
