Gabriella shook her head, making a slight face. "Of course not," she replied lightly. She hoped that Safira wasn't getting herself in too deep, though, as it could be possible that Professor Oriole was just trying to take advantage of her. Gabriella didn't feel that she knew him well enough to judge that for herself, though. "And as for your question, I don't think it's wrong, as long as he's not trying to take advantage of you," she said.

"No, not Demetri, he wouldn't ever," said Safira, dead certain of the fact. Yes, they had made love, but it hadn't been rape in any sense of the word. She had consented to it, even wanted him to. She had to emit a sigh of relief, as she knew this to be a huge secret, and most people couldn't keep it, but she knew that Gabriella would. Her brother's soon-to-be wife, her soon-to-be sister-in-law, was a different type of person.

"Good," Gabriella replied, glad to hear that Professor Oriole was an honorable person. Gabriella didn't know what Isaac would think of Safira dating a teacher, though. He would probably be a bit horrified at the thought, but Professor Oriole was still quite young, and Safira did seem to adore him. It was still a bit weird for Gabriella to think about, though.

Safira wanted to confirm for a second time that Gabriella wouldn't tell anyone, but she did not want to be insulting to one of the few people she actually felt to be one of her friends, not just one of the people that followed her around, trying to get their own piece of the Malfoy fortune. "He's really sweet, you know," said Safira, smiling at memories of Demetri. One thing was for certain, if Isaac found out he would freak, so she was perfectly content with keeping him in the dark about her relationship with the potions professor.

"He did always seem nice in class," Gabriella said by way of reply. Since Professor Oriole was a relatively new teacher, Gabriella didn't know him all that well, but he had never shown any signs of being mean, so at least Safira wasn't with someone bad.

Safira sighed lightly, her mind wandering a bit to the last night that they had spent together. It was well worth missing the last Hogsmeade weekend of the school year just to be with him, even if her friends had been a bit skeptical when she had explained her reason for not going as being ill. Safira had no idea how to continue conversation, so she opted to remain quiet.
