Gabriella chuckled at Safira's bribery comment, figuring that Isaac was also not afraid to bribe people. It would be a rather amusing thing to see, actually. "Alright then," Gabriella replied with a smile. "Now that we've got that settled, I've got a question for you. Will you be one of my bridesmaids?"

Safira felt a slight tinge of pale pink blush coming to her Malfoy-pale cheeks, but could not help but grin. She was flattered that Gabriella would ask her, as she had certainly not been expecting her to do that. "Of course I will," Safira replied, still smiling widely. She considered Gabriella to be among her friends, not just the girl she would be related to through her brother's marriage to her.

"Excellent," Gabriella replied with a grin and mentally checked off Safira on her list of people to ask to be bridesmaids. She would have to hunt down Isaac's other sister, Bellatrix, to ask her as well. That one wasn't bound to go quite as well. "So, what color should the bridesmaid dresses be?" Gabriella asked. Safira had a better knack for these sorts of things than Gabriella, who had a hard enough time deciding what to wear when she wasn't in school.

Safira thought a moment, resting her quill against her chin. She remembered that Gabriella had ordered a gold dress, and worked out a few things in her head. "I think that black or silver would look nice," said Safira. "Let me know when your dress arrives, I haven't seen the pictures." Safira figured that an elven type style would look nice, comfortable and flowy, but it would depend on Gabriella's dress.

"That's what I was thinking as well," Gabriella replied with a slight sigh. "I suppose when my dress comes in, I'll just look at some bridesmaid dresses as well. It's supposed to be in this weekend." Gabriella paused for a moment. She had already asked Raychel, Angel, and Emily to come with her, so she supposed she might as well ask Safira to come as well. It would be interesting to try on a dress with a bunch of friends. "Would you like to come on Sunday? I'm sure Professor Copper will let you come to Diagon Alley if you tell her you're going with me and a bunch of other girls."

"Certainly," said Safira, beaming. She was more excited than anything at the moment. Besides, if Professor Copper had let Emily go (she had headmistress duties while Cici was away for the Quadwizard Tournament), Safira didn't see any reason why she wouldn't be allowed. Except perhaps her somewhat low grade in Transfiguration, she was currently on the cusp of having an Acceptable, but she was still getting a Poor.

"Excellent," Gabriella replied with a grin that matched Safira's. She fell silent for a moment, wondering what to discuss next. The first thing that came to mind was Quidditch. "How are your Quidditch skills coming along?" she asked. "I bet Cici will make you Captain next year. It would make sense."

"You think so?" asked Safira, blushing a bit. She knew it would be a close call between her and Zelphar for captain next year, he was a pretty amazing keeper, but she and the other beater had the best Gryffindor beating record in fifty years, no one had gotten hit by bludger since their reign. She was thinking of trying out for a professional team next spring, since she would be seventeen then, and no one underage was allowed to be on pro teams.

"Of course," Gabriella replied. "You're an excellent player and also a good leader, which is what she's really looking for." Gabriella had considered the possibility of going into Quidditch, but with becoming an Auror and getting married, she figured that she wouldn't have all that much time for it. But perhaps she still could.

Safira couldn't help but beam at who would soon be her sister-in-law. Gabriella never had anything that wasn't kind to say. It was refreshing, as many of the people that tended to follow her around weren't terribly friendly, with the exception being the only people she counted among her friends. "Thanks," said Safira, feeling her face grow warm with blush.

"Well it's true," Gabriella replied with a smile. Gabriella paused for a moment, wondering if Safria would try out for a professional team when she turned seventeen. She certainly seemed good enough to, especially with the impressive beating record the Gryffindor team held. "Are you going to try out for a professional team when you come of age?" Gabriella asked.

"Yeah, I'm planning on it next spring," said Safira. "I'm not sure what team yet, but I was thinking either the Holy Head Harpies or Ireland." Even if the hectic schedule would mean severe conflict with her school schedule. If she actually made a team she would skip out on seventh year, sure, her mother might skin her alive, but what did she need her last year of schooling for if she was going to play Quidditch?

Gabriella nodded, appreciating the teams that Safira was looking into. "I think the Holy-Head Harpies will be quite good next year if they can fill a few positions," she commented. "Of course their best Chaser just got injured and isn't likely to come back, but the rest of the team works really well together. You would probably fit in well with them, actually. And of course, when isn't Ireland good?" Gabriella smiled slightly. She liked talking about Quidditch. When she was little, she used to dream about playing professionally. But these days, there just didn't seem to be time. Being a vampire could help, though.

"I guess I could try out for both, and see if either of them are willing to take me." said Safira. She knew that both Ireland and the Holy-Head Harpies were using a reserve beater in at least one of their positions, and the tryout season was over until next spring. Safira was excited.

"Sounds like a good plan to me," Gabriella commented, smiling at her friend. There was a bit of a pause, in which Gabriella considered her own career. What if she didn't like being an Auror? What if she got bored with just one job? Being at Hogwarts was like a job in itself besides the one at Zonko's. Gabriella figured that she might be bored if she just worked at the Auror's office. That was, if she got in, of course. Perhaps she ought to try of for Quidditch, just to see. "Do you suppose I should try out for a team?" she asked Safira, turning back to Isaac's sister. "Just for fun?"
