Levi was confused, but his brain barely had a moment to spare to think about anything before it went entirely blank. He absently tightened his grip on Raychel's hand, not enough to hurt her, but it was a firm hold. He drew his wand in his other hand, and rested the tip where their fingers met. Levi knew this was a dangerous spell, but as nothing was working, and he wasn't sure if there was enough time, he would do it. If performed correctly, it would transfer whatever was attacking Raychel into him, if it meant killing himself, he didn't care, as long as Raychel would be spared. Slow, steady twinges of pain pulsed through his body, they got gradually worse, but Levi didn't break his concentration for a second, if he did it wouldn't work. He was not going to let Raychel die.

Carrietta whipped out her wand, much like someone drawing a blade and running into battle. Her sharp eyes darted around the room, as if expecting to see something unusual, but nothing came to mind. Was Raychel just delirious? It didn't look like anyone was there at all. Thinking quickly, Carrietta performed a spell that caused white powder to fall from the ceiling, and then she saw someone that had been sitting in the corner, invisible. Carrietta shot off the first spell that came to mind, a stunner.

Isabelle broke her concentration on making treatments directed toward Raychel fail a split second after the powder fell, revealing her location. She allowed herself to become visible after redirecting Carrietta's stunner with her wand. It smashed into a vase, shattering it, Isabelle laughed. "So you dare take on me?" said Isabelle icily. Crucio! Isabelle cast nonverbally toward the history teacher that really was no match for her.

Carrietta felt the spell grip her body, she instantly collapsed to the floor. It was the worst pain she had felt in her entire life, it was as if every inch of her were on fire, and each one of her bones was being ruthlessly broken. Every ounce of cool logic from her head had vanished and was replaced with panic, and thoughts of death and pain. Carrietta was screaming more loudly than she ever had in her life, it just wouldn't stop...

The pain in Raychel's body slowly diminished, until it was no longer there. She turned to see Levi twitching, and she knew what he had done. Thinking quickly, she planted a kiss on his cheek, hoping to break his concentration. She was about to try again when the spell he had been using, broke. She lay him down on the bed before turning towards the fallen History teacher. Her eyes flew up to find Isabelle Rivera bearing the Crucio curse down upon Professor North. Isabelle was paying attention to only her, but, if the vampire rumors were true, what Raychel was about to do would never work. She quickly took out her wand from the sash in her dress and quickly mumbled a spell, something to bind her with. Then she prayed for a split second, hoping it would hit its mark, or at the very least, break her concentration.

Isabelle's concentration was broken by ropes springing around her. She flexed her arms a bit and they snapped as simply as a strand of hair. Isabelle grabbed the girl with her telekinesis, and had her wand back at the history teacher with a knock-back jinx, blood red eyes vivid with anger, but with a flash of pleasure at the fight. And if she knew she would lose, Isabelle could just vanish into thin air.

The spell was complete when Raychel released his hand, and Levi was completely overwhelmed with the pain. The pulsation had vanished and was replaced with just constant, aggressive agony. He bit into his tongue to prevent himself from screaming, regardless of the blood he was tasting in his mouth. Levi knew he was trembling, but his body was unable to process anything but the crippling pain. He felt as if he had lapsed into a phase of madness, nothing but agony ran through his head. Levi's eyes rolled back until only whiteness could be seen... Death, empty, cold, painless, death. That was all he wanted, nothing else mattered, as long as the pain went away.

Carrietta got to her feet shakily, drenched in cold sweat, unable to stop trembling. A very vulnerable target, the knock-back jinx hit her head on, sending her flying into the window. It had been bewitched to be shatter-proof, so it might as well have been a solid wall. Carrietta blinked forcefully, she had hit her head rather hard and could feel hot blood slowly oozing. Carrietta didn't take longer than an instant to come up with a spell. Evantis! She thought, casting the curse. She didn't know if it worked on vampires or not, but at the very least it would serve as a distraction.

Isabelle heard the spell cast at her by the history teacher as plainly as if she had shouted it, and was unafraid. The spell was supposed to make the victim feel as if shards of glass were pulsing through their veins. But as Isabelle's heart had long stopped beating, it didn't work. Silvery-blue vampire blood began slowly oozing from her tear glands, but she felt no pain. Isabelle cast the same spell back at the history teacher, she wanted her to suffer as much as possible before eventually killing her and draining her completely of blood. She smelled so sweetly...

Raychel's arms and legs instantly became immobile with Isabelle's telekinesis. She struggled against it, screaming as Levi shook. All she wanted was to die, to save him. She felt useless, helpless. As Professor North slammed up against the wall, Raychel feared for her. Isabelle was eying her with a look that matched hunger. She struggled once more, hoping she would at least break her concentration for a moment. As Levi's eyes rolled back, she screamed in fury. This witch had messed with the wrong person, hurt the wrong people. Raychel's temper flared, and fire shot out from her hands. It barreled towards Isabelle. As it was headed for her, Raychel craned her head around to look at Levi, barely holding on. "Levi, Levi listen to me. Don't you dare go out without a fight. Please, I need you here, I need you with me. Don't leave me Levi." she screamed over everything. If Levi were to die, she would kill herself to be with him.

Levi heard Raychel as if she were from a great distance away, and only whispering. He loved her, yes, but this pain wasn't worth living if she were the only reason keeping him alive. He released his tongue from the grip between his own teeth, blood flowing freely from the wounds he had made himself. Levi hushed the scream developing in her throat by sinking his teeth into the pillow. In a sense he was glad, happy that Raychel was no longer suffering from this excruciating pain, that it would be him to die instead...

In order to dodge the fire, Isabelle was forced to teleport to another location, consequently breaking her concentration on both Raychel and the history teacher, letting the both of them free from her magic. Isabelle popped up behind the girl and grabbed her by her hair, and dug her wand tip into the girl's throat. If she struggled, her own strength far outweighed Raychel's. "One single move I don't care for and I won't hesitate to kill her," Isabelle said plainly, unafraid to have the seventeen-year-old's blood on her hands.

The evantis curse had been ten times as painful as Carrietta had thought, almost as bad as crucio. Tears of blood streamed down her pale cheeks, but she did not wipe them away. Carrietta stopped dead when Isabelle appeared behind Raychel. "What do you want from us?" asked Carrietta. She would give anything in the world to spare a student, even herself. Desparate times called for desperate measures.

Raychel did not struggle, did not whimper. She took a long, side-ways glance at Levi, then a pleading glance towards Professor North. It was her only wish that her teacher did not do anything that she would regret later. Raychel sat obediently, at Isabelle's mercy. With an unusual iciness in her tone, she bitterly addressed the vampire. "Do what you want, I cannot possibly have anything of value to an old hag like you." she hissed. Her nose turned up in disgust. She did not speak anymore, only watched Levi as blood started coursing from his eyes and mouth. She bit her tongue, in an effort to keep from screaming.

Isabelle ignored the girl's comment, she knew that she didn't look a day over thirty, but that was beside the point. "I think that you and I both know what I desire," said Isabelle, then took a glance at Professor North's mind. "But seeing as your brain refuses to come up with an answer; Hogwarts. I want the school." She knew that there was little the lone history teacher could do to fulfill her wishes, she would have to take the school by force. With a quick mental spell, she sent out a call for her Death Eaters to come to school. She knew it would take them a while to get there, but they would by some means.
