Tinsel (Gabriella/open)

A body fell out of the bushes, a masked face was revealed. "Death Eater," Gabriella hissed, drawing her wand and smelling the air to see if there were any more of them. Of course their perfect moment had to be ruined, just when things were looking up.

Isaac had to fight the strong impulse to tear open the Death Eater's throat and drink every last drop of blood in her body. He refrained, Death Eater or not, a person was still a person. The guilt on him was great enough, he didn't need to contribute to it. Isaac looked around. He pulled out his wand, smelling the air. "I can smell them, but I can't see them," Isaac whispered back.

"Yeah, me too," Gabriella replied in a barely audible tone. She sniffed the air again, trying to figure out their location, but there were so many different smells. Gabriella crinkled her nose and focused her attention onto one particular Death Eater, preparing to attack. Just then, a mass of spells came flying their way and the Death Eaters jumped out from everywhere. Gabriella ducked and then began firing back.

Isaac had been less fortunate, one of the spells had hit him, knocking him flat on his back. It didn't do anything other than that, it was probably meant for a human, there was no effect. Isaac pointed his wand in direction the spell had come from and non-verbally performed the first spell that came to mind. There was a cracking noise and a thud, a Death Eater had fallen to the ground, dead.

Gabriella winced at the sight of the dead Death Eater. Spells were all over the place and she was quite lucky to still be standing in one piece. She shot non-verbal spells at a cluster of Death Eaters and they all fell to the ground, out like lights.

Isaac turned into his Animagus form, a giant cobra, twice as tall as any of the Death Eaters. He hissed, eyes glowing an extremely bright red. He lunged at one of their ankles, causing them all to scatter. Isaac tripped one of them with his tail, then began making quick work of distracting them so Gabriella could finish them off.

Gabriella ducked under a final spell and the fire ceased as the Death Eaters were distracted by Isaac. Gabriella silently thanked him. She rapidly fired spells, knocking all of them out. Soon there were bodies scattered all over the beautiful garden and Gabriella breathed a sigh of relief. She smelled the air, no one else.

Isaac was briefly tempted to inject their motionless forms with his fangs, but decided against it. He didn't want to go into a bloody frenzy again. The outcomes of those were never good. Isaac turned back with a pop, then drew his wand. "What do you reckon we do with them?" Isaac asked, tilting his head back at the unconscious Death Eaters.

Gabriella gently bit her lip, a sure sign that she was thinking hard. The easiest option would be to kill the ones that were already dead, but that seemed a little cruel, even for Death Eaters. "I'm not sure," Gabriella replied after a moment. "Any ideas?"

Isaac would just assume feed off of them, as he usually did. It gave him a certain satisfaction, but also an immense guilt. But a sudden stroke of inspiration hit him. "Unmask them, then take them directly to the Ministry of Magic?" Isaac said.

"They might kill us now, but they'll thank us later," Gabriella replied with a firm nod. She went over to a pile of Death Eaters and started pulling off their masks, studying each of their faces to see if she recognized any of them.

Isaac pulled off one of the masks and nearly fell over. He stared at the face a long time. He was looking down at the face of his grandfather, Lucius. "Well, what do you know," Isaac said after a long gap of staring at his unconscious grandfather. "Like father like son."

Gabriella glanced over at the words from Isaac. She saw Lucius Malfoy's face from across the path and surpressed a gasp. "I can't believe he's still fighting," Gabriella murmured, mostly to herself. Of course she knew all the stories about the Malfoys, but it was hard to believe that Isaac's grandfather would still be a Death Eater.

"Well, at least now he's been caught in the act," said Isaac, dragging him to the side with the other unmasked ones. "Tut, tut, and trying to kill his own grandson. Apparently family reunions don't fix old problems." Isaac left his grandfather alone, then went to go and unmask the others. Isaac recognized some of them as being in his father's circle of friends. Could his father be awaiting release from Azkaban to rejoin the Death Eaters?

"Yeah," Gabriella said with a slight sigh. She finished unmasking the Death Eaters and then dragged the bodies into one large pile so she and Isaac could take them more easily. Then Gabriella started chuckling, then laughing, collapsing on the bench and laughing harder and harder, though it wasn't clear what was so funny.
