Jenna was stressed and tired today, her entire collection of homework spilled out in front of her as she took up nearly two tables in the far back corner of the library. She had all of her books either piled in stacks or opened in front of her. Her homework folders were overflowing with things to do. It was on days like these that Jenna considered using her time-turner to get all of her work done. She knew it was only supposed to be used for classes, but the rules could be bent a little.
Jenna sighed as she re-positioned the quill in her hand. She neatly wrote the end of her Herbology essay and then blew on the ink until it dried and neatly packed it into a folder that was being kept together purely by magic. Jenna stacked the Herbology book in the small stack of things she had finished and then turned to her next piece of homework, a Charms essay. Groaning silently, Jenna began to write, not noticing the person approaching her.

It was Angel, she had a hand at the ready, almost touching the nearest bookcase, in case she should fall. Dark circles were beneath her bloodshot eyes, she was getting dizzy, a warning sign that she would pass out if she didn't rest. Angel took a table beside one of Jenna's, with a feeble nod of greeting. She spread out nearly as much as her cousin did, but had twice as much, since she was also in the break room at the Three Broomsticks, doing even more work. Her hand trembled as she dipped her quill in ink. She would brew some energy potion when she was done... "Lot of homework too?" Angel said wearily, starting to write an essay, blowing on the ink as she went.

Jenna groaned and nodded to Angel. "Oh, nothing more than usual, I suppose," she replied, restraining herself from sighing. She noticed that Angel was tired, and wished she could do something, but had a feeling that Angel wouldn't like that very much. Jenna also noticed that Angel had a lot more books open than she did. If Jenna had more than two open at a time, it would cause her to panic, which was why she had her giant stacks of books.

Angel nodded once more, then began to flip through the pages of a book while writing her essay, while at the same time blowing on the ink to dry it and fretting about Wolfgang. At least he had made it through the first task alive, she would see him soon. Angel pondered if she should drop a few subjects next year, but quickly decided that she would be unable to do that. She needed all the core subjects (spare for Potions and History of Magic) and all the electives (except Muggle Studies), and even if she dropped the three she didn't need, she would still need the time-turner. "I think I'll have to pull another all-nighter." Angel said, frowning.

Jenna crinkled her nose at the thought. She truly hated having to do that, but occasionally she had to. "I'm sorry Angie, that's really a pain to do," Jenna replied. Sure Jenna could use a Time-Turner to finish all of her homework, but that always exhausted her even more.

"Don't be sorry, it's my fault I want to be a wand-maker," Angel said in a feeble voice. She wanted to fall asleep right then and there, but that wasn't an option right now. At least her mother couldn't see this, Ginny would smash her time-turner make her drop almost all her classes and quit her job. There was no possible way Angel was going to do that.

Jenna shrugged, not really sure if she should accept this answer from Angel. Well, whatever, Jenna could see that Angel was a fiercely independent person. The wand-maker bit surprised her a little, however, she had never known that before. "Wand-maker, huh?" Jenna asked, raising her eyebrows. Jenna scratched in a few more lines of her essay, barely pausing to look at the book. They had already talked about this in class.

"Yes," said Angel, with a feeble attempt at a smile, but only was able to muster a small smirk. She began to rummage around in her bag for an energy potion. "I've been working on making some, I made my own when it got broken a few months ago." Angel said, then pulled out her wand. "Chinese Evergreen Elm, thirteen and a quarter inches, phoenix feather. Whippy, good for Charm work."

Jenna smiled feebly before she responded. "Wow Angie, that's really cool," Jenna said, still smiling a bit now. Being a wand-maker seemed pretty fun, but Jenna didn't know if she really wanted to do that kind of work. Then again, she really had no idea what she wanted to do.

"Thanks," said Angel, with a small bit of a smile. She had even put a bit of a personal touch on her self-made wand. On the handle, there were carvings of ivy leaves, and two strips of gold leaf on both ends. It was a paler wood, so it made very pretty wands. She slid her wand up her sleeve and continued working.

Jenna smiled back at Angel, admiring her wand for a moment before Angel slipped it back up her sleeve. It would be cool to have a wand that pretty. Jenna glanced at her book and then wrote three more lines on her essay. Only half a page more before she had the required amount, but there was so much more that she could still talk about.

Angel returned to her writing a moment, intelligent blue eyes drooping with exhaustion. What she really wanted was to go to bed, but that wasn't an option right now. For once in her life, the sound of quill-scratching was bothering her. "What are you going to do after Hogwarts?" Angel asked, attempting a feeble stab at conversation.

Jenna sighed slightly at this question. She picked up her quill and thought for a moment. "I don't actually have any idea," Jenna admitted, biting her lip slightly. "I've given it a lot of though, but I've never found anything good."

Angel frowned, Jenna was a seventh year. Surely she must have some idea, her graduation was only a few months away. Perhaps Angel was just overreacting, there were probably a ton of seventh years that had no idea of what to do with themselves. "Well, what do you like doing?" Angel asked.

Jenna pondered this for a moment, sticking her quill back in the bottle of ink to let her hand rest. "I like little kids, being with my friends, and sometimes my job," Jenna replied, resting her head on her hand now. "But I don't think that leads to many careers."
