"I know Isaac's plenty nice!" Charles said, still frowning and struggling a bit against Emily's firm grasp on his upper arm. He felt like a little school boy who had misbehaved in class. Emily just had that aura around her, the kind that made you know she was kind, but definitely not the person to cross. "Maybe Bellatrix needs someone to be nice to her!" Charles protested as they walked out into the entrance hall.

Emily hook her head, then released her older cousin. She had been completely unaware that she had been grasping his upper arm like a grouchy school teacher. It was just an instinct that she had. Maybe she would teach primary school. "You're better off leaving her be, for the sake of keeping your head on your shoulders." said Emily. "What about those sketches, hmm?"

Knowing that tone, Charles knew the subject was over. He wanted to run back upstairs and talk to Bellatrix, but he had to admit that he was a tiny bit scared by Emily. She was nice, but an intimidating figure because of her physique. "I have some new holiday dress robes in mind, especially for plus-sized and extra-tall women. I want everyone to feel beautiful!" said Charles.

Emily gave a small smile, she wasn't much of a grinner, probably because of her bitterness toward her father. The man hated her. But it was always Gabriella this and Gabriella that. Emily loved her older sister very much, but she hated her dad. "That's the ticket, what fabric are you thinking?" said Emily, trying to keep Charles talking, she could use some company.

Charles grinned toothily, his cousin didn't smile often, and when she did, he felt great for being able to coax it out. Emily was so pretty, but she hid it behind a face that betrayed no emotion. Just blankness. "I was thinking something like satin on the outside with a soft fleece interior for warmth." said Charles.

"Sounds wonderful," said Emily, still having her infamous small smile on her full lips. She shoved her hands in her pockets, because now she knew that Charles wouldn't go running back to Bellatrix and try to talk to her. "Do you have the plans on you?" she asked.

"Oh, hold on a second," said Charles, reaching his hand into the pocket of his muggle jeans. He had enchanted that single pocket to hold anything h put in it. "Hmm, ah, fabulous!" he said, pulling out his sketchbook from the depths. He thumbed through the pages. "Here we are," Charles said brightly, showing his designs to Emily.

Emily looked at them, emitting a low whistle of wonder. Charles definitely had some strong talent when it came to designing. There was no other word to describe her cousin other than his catch-phrase; Fabulous! "Charlie, these are amazing!" said Emily, flipping through the pages. "I can't wait to see how they'll turn out."

"Don't worry darling," said Charles, allowing Emily to flip through his various robe designs. Some were plain and simple, but most were bright, obnoxious and completely fantastic. This was his passion. He had the eye for fashion and he knew how to put things together so they looked bought, not made. Sure, his mother hated him because of who he was, but that was fine. He had other family who accepted him. "You won't have to wait long, I started the work already." Charles said proudly.

Emily flashed Charles a quick smile with her teeth showing, but it quickly faded, these moments didn't last long, but it made her feel wonderful. She wasn't quite accustomed to it either. "That's wonderful," said Emily. "You know, if you sell those once they're made, you could make a hell of a lot of money."

"Really?" Charles said, blushing just a little. He rarely heard people say things this nice to him, unless they were from his twin sister, Jasmine. He did get a pretty good offer to have his own boutique in Hogsmeade, but he wasn't sure how he could leave Jasmine by her lonesome at Wizard Wheezes...

"Yeah!" said Emily encouragingly. "I'm not that much of a fashion person and I would wear some of these things." She thumbed through the pages. They were all women's designs. That was fine, Charles wasn't much of a masculine guy anyways. Just a great, big, teddy bear.

"You don't know how fabulous it is to hear you say that." said Charles, grinning widely. A sudden solution came to him, he wanted to smack himself on the forehead for not thinking of it earlier! He had a time-turner that some great-aunt or something left to him in her will, he could still work at Wizard Wheezes and run the shop!

"I think I have an idea," said Emily, giving Charles' shoulder a gentle squeeze with one of her huge hands. Sometimes Emily hated just how big she was. Dwarfing everybody, having to look down at almost everyone who talked to her, professors included. And she was still growing.
